ok but my sister just called me and basically said to stop thinking of myself and check in on others which i understand like i totally get that, but where was this when no one was checking in on me in college or anything huh? like...i would check in on my cousins but no one would do the same for me? like people had now idea i had the hardest time in college and it does sound selfish but am i not allowed to think like that ugh i don’t understand it just rubbed me the wrong way

i talked to my friend about last saturday and i'm super grateful for her. it's been bugging me so much and idk why i keep trying to make excuses when i literally felt uncomfortable and didn't like what was happening. idk what i'm gonna do, but i am so glad i talked it out with my friend
