EMIEL REGIS + BODY LANGUAGE, some examples in visual form.
fingers around the strap of his satchel + testing it while contemplating, nose twitches while in thought or expressing concern, sweeping gestures + a bias for talking with his hands and gesturing emphatically, the infamous thin - lipped smile behind which he hides his fangs.

the headcanon that regis can hang from the ceiling to sleep or rest like a bat is funny on its own, but when i consider geralt and others in the hanza holding conversations with him like this, it’s made better by my understanding of this as just an advanced “neurodivergent sitting” technique

the internet was a great invention, did you know you can just send porn to your online mutuals and develop a profound bond through the shared desire to see that old man railed to death

sometimes I get the vibe that people in the fandom don’t really understand the significance of what happened to Witchers and Witcher Schools
the fall of Kaer Morhen was a pogrom - a large scale violence/destruction, aimed to displace or kill a specific minority group, by the greater collective (this differs from a genocide, which is more systematic and involves more state/government/official involvement)
anti-Witcher rhetoric cumulated into a very specific type of violence; they were specifically trying to wipe out all Witchers in that region, permanently. I think this is really underexplored sometimes in terms of a) long term effects on the survivors and b) the loss Witchers suffered that wasn’t only lives (oral and spoken history, written history, culture, ability to perform traditions, etc)

Master Dandelion was singing. The witcher who came with him drew his sword and clinked it on his lap as if it were an instrument. The iron sword and the silk strings played together, blending joyfully into the song.
