We don’t appreciate the fact that Bruce Wayne is a Kardasian level celebrity enough. Everyone knows him. I want more one shots and crack fic moments where the League (Pre identity reveals) just openly talk about Bruce Wayne in front of Batman.

Just imagine them playing fuck, marry, kill with famous actors and such and throwing Bruce into the mix. And Batman just sits there, silently suffering as he listens to the reasons why Flash and Lantern would marry, fuck, or kill him. He prays they choose kill. They don’t.

A little rant because I can. I will never get over the way how so many people thinks that c!Techno is all violence. Like that's the same guy who run away from c!Bad because he didn't know what his intentions were and he didn't want to fight. Also there is the retirement arc where the main thing was that c!Techno was trying to look at anarchy from new light and live peaceful. It wasn't him running away from consequences of his actions because he decided to retire because he felt like what he done during 16th wasn't the right way to go. Also with few exception he basically always tries to talk his way out of fights.

Also I thinking that way makes you ignore how considerate c!Technoblade actually is. Starting with c!Tommy and as much as the time when those two were living together has many examples of this, just look at the way c!Technoblade always try to calm c!Tommy down and make him feel safe when the younger is panicking, I think the day c!Tommy visited c!Technoblade before the Discs War Finale is a really go way to show it too. Remember that thing happened not that long after the Green Festival where c!Tommy's decision hut c!Technoblade deeply, c!Techno could just kill the guy who he caught red handed as he was stealing from him but he didn't. He actually listened what c!Tommy had to say and let him go with the stuff he took from him. Then we have c!Ranboo and c!Niki. When it comes to our favourite half Enderman it's easy to see how much c!Technoblade care about this guy but in this case I think c!Niki is more interesting one. What she needed was being heard and c!Technoblade made sure od that. He also makes sure that she feels like an important too. His talk will c!Niki when he ask her to join the syndicate shows that really well. Then we have the way he acted when he teamed up with c!Tubbo... You could tell that c!Techno thought about c!Tubbo's feelings from him deciding against using the rocket launcher while with him to the way he always made sure c!Tubbo was the one who made the decision.

C!Technoblade is much more then just violence and destruction and if you see him that way you are going to be disappointed.

let’s talk about the deaths in c!dream’s experimentation.

obligatory prefaces: spoiler warning for dream xd’s lore video that premiered at like 2am on January 14, and i am talking Only about the characters. 

we see lazar and vikk die three times during that video. 

drowning, standing on a sea lantern and encased in a pillar of water.

by a falling anvil, trapped in iron bars.

an end crystal explosion, encased in obsidian and crying obsidian

now, all of these deaths have a prominent ties to the lore, but not to deaths in the lore. no, these are tied to near misses in the lore. these are the times when death brushed against people, unable to keep hold of them. think of tommy, who walked into oceans and emerged every time gasping, on the verge of drowning. think of techno, who was sentenced to be executed by a falling anvil, clinging onto his canon life as the totem wove his body and soul together again. think of november 16th, when an end crystal was placed down during the revolution, sending panic through the fighters. 

these have two things in common. first, there is a twisted sense of balance to them. “death was robbed,” some might say. instead, the price was paid by another: lazar and vikk. second: dream was involved in every close call, and he is the one who enforces this sense of balance. dream was the one who tormented tommy during his exile. dream gave techno the totem and watched as the butcher army tried to execute the warrior. dream placed down the end crystal during the revolution. 

and it was dream who killed vikk and lazar in the same way, their deaths a distorted mirror of the others’ lives. he wants to play at god, pulling at the balance of the universe until it reaches an equilibrium of his own making. 

two additional things to note:

if we look at the time that vikk and lazar were only threatened, but not killed - well, there’s only one instance of that, and dream pointed a crossbow loaded with a firework at them. and i’m sure we all know someone who died to a crossbow and firework. 

there is also an additional shot of vikk’s death by the falling anvil. of all the near misses above, there is only one instance where he helps someone avoid death, and it was technoblade. or perhaps there is a sense of idealization of techno’s close call. it’s a goal, in some sense. techno not only survived the anvil: he thrived - the totem’s magic humming through his veins as he made his escape back to the arctic.

all this talk about soft characters with rough edges is forgetting perhaps the best example of this: c!techno

he's someone that seemingly holds people at arm's length but when push comes to shove, he'll be there for them, no matter the odds or the risk.

his words can be awkward and harsh but there's kindness and understanding as well: for you the world, no one heals in a day, you gotta raise your standards

he lashes out with violence when he's hurt, in a fight he's calculated and is willing to do harm for what he believes is the greater good but outside of battle he tries to keep bees out of the rain and gets distressed about turtle eggs.

techno collects dandelions and wither skulls. all techno wants is to be left alone with his friends but he's always ready for a fight. he feeds other people's pets and teams with his enemy because it's the right thing to do.

he has a soft heart and cares and is always willing to get his hands dirty for what he believes in.
