There was a man at my former church who gave up his career to serve in full time ministry. Back then I thought "What? Why? This guy is a fool." Now I get it. I fully comprehend it and applaud him for his humility and selflessness to pursue something bigger than his own life and desires. Isn't saving souls for eternity far far more important..far far more valuable than a temporary career, bank account, titles, prestige, and anything and everything of this world that will one day pass away? My heart weeps. There are past regrets where I could have led others to Jesus, but my love for this world got in the way. I thought of me first. My wants. My career. My bank account. My image of what others think of me. But those things are nothing! Nothing compared to saving souls and gaining eternal brothers and sisters in heaven. My heart is shaken with devastation for the day when Jesus Christ returns..there are still so so many who do not know Jesus yet. And once Jesus returns..that's it guys! Oh man! I don't know.. I feel so burdened. So heavy. So please if you're a Jesus follower, make it a mandatory daily and primary goal to tell others about Jesus. If every believer did this, this world would look a lot more different AND heaven would be more crowded. Please if you do not know Jesus yet, get to know Him today. I truly believe that we are living in the last days and there's not much time left. This is not a time to be lukewarm. This is not the time to be nonchalant. This is not the time to play games with God. Grace vs faith vs works (1/2) "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever." 1 John 2:15-17 One of the most confusing debates is grace vs faith vs works. Ephesians 2:8 says that it is by grace through faith that we are saved, but James 2:26 says that faith without works is dead. Huh? Wait..I thought we're saved by grace not works? Yes we are saved by grace and we can never ever earn our salvation in Jesus Christ. However, once you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior you are required to be different from the world. You are required to die to yourself so that Christ can live in and through you. Why did Jesus die to save you? Once you're saved, why didn't He just take you up with Him to heaven? Because you have a purpose. A purpose to tell everyone of God's unfailing love and amazing grace. A purpose to make disciples of all nations. A purpose to save souls from God's wrath. Jesus didn't die for us so that we live our own selfish lives. Jesus didn't save us to be lukewarm Christians. Jesus requires us to deny ourselves and pick up our cross daily. Are you willing to give up the things of this world for Jesus? Wrong heart (2/2) 💔Let down your pride and anger. This is what Jesus told me: Aggie, wouldn't it bring more glory to Me if even the abortionists will turn their hearts to Me and be welcomed into the eternal family of Mine? Isn't that who I died for too? Isn't that My greatest desire for EVERYONE to be saved? Shouldn't that be your greatest desire too? Yea you're right Aggie, they don't deserve my grace, forgiveness, love and kindness but neither did you. Or did you forget from what I've rescued you from? Did you forget how far you were from me? Basically He told me to check AND change my heart. Whatever cause you are fighting for, don't let that become your idol. Be rooted in Jesus first so that you are doing it with the right heart. Wrong heart (1/2) When I first discovered how a baby was aborted, I got so so angry. I mean, how can you cut and rip off the baby's body into pieces so brutally? You know..they can feel every single pain..ah..thinking about it just devastates me. I got so mad that I got absorbed with everything against abortion. Most of my time was spent on researching abortion facts and trying to expose the evilness of abortion. I got so absorbed and distracted that I forgot about Jesus. I didn't have the time nor desire to spend time with Him. Eventually I got drained and overwhelmed with anger, bitterness and sorrow. I knew I couldn't go on like this. So for 40 days I took a social media and anything about abortion fast and spent more of my time with Jesus. During that time, He comforted my weary heart AND lovingly confronted me that I was doing it all with the wrong heart. 💔I put that before Jesus. Although I had good intentions to help stop abortion, exposing it consumed my time and heart. It became my idol. 💔I wasn't rooted. I let my feelings be my god. Because I didn't spend time with Jesus, my mind was weak and my heart was deceptive. The enemy loves to attack you and is most effective at it when you aren't grounded in Him. I let my emotions of anger, bitterness and pride rule over my heart, where Jesus commands us to love and pray for our enemies. In fact Jesus said hating someone is equivalent to being a murderer and therefore eternal life is not in that person. Yikes! As soon as He showed me the ugliness of my heart, I repented. Thank you Jesus for patiently confronting me, because nothing is worth loosing my salvation over! 🤔Do you love Jesus?🤔 We sing worship songs of how much we love Jesus. We pray every day saying how much we love Him. We talk about how much we love Jesus with others. But how do we really know if we truly truly love Him? Jesus says in John 14:15 "If you love me, obey my commandments." And in John 14:21 "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me..." LOVE IS AN ACTION. Loving Jesus means obeying His commandments. How is that love? It sounds so forced and dry... If you knew how much Jesus loves you, you couldn't stand breaking His heart by disobedience. If you knew how much Jesus loves you, you can't help but to love Him back. It is out of love that we want and desire to obey Him because that brings Him glory and pleasure. The greatest act of love (in action) is that while we are still sinners, Jesus died for every single one of us. Yes, even those who mock Him, reject Him, blaspheme Him, want to destroy Him and His children. Yes even for them. That is how much Jesus loves every single person. Jesus obeyed His Father's commandment and WILLINGLY went to the cross for you and me. He CHOSE to suffer a very painful and gruesome death so that you can have a friendship with Him. So that you are forgiven for ALL of your sins and mistakes. So that one day you will have life and hope beyond life on this earth. Did He have to do it? No. Did He follow His own feelings and ways? No. He obeyed because He loves you so so much. It is through Jesus's obedience and love that we can have eternal life. Whenever it's hard to obey Him, let's remember and reflect on the cross. Remember how much He loves you that He died for you. Know that no matter how hard it is to obey Him, the reward is so so much greater than the pain. Who do you trust? When you think about what to have for dinner, who do you go to for recommendations? Yelp. When you choosing to go to the doctor, who do you trust for suggestions? Yelp, friends or family. When it comes to your life.. Your eternal soul, who do you trust? Who do you go to for THE truth? If we care so much about food and our physical bodies that one day will pass away, shouldn't we really really REALLY care and know where our eternal souls are going? We're talking about your soul here. We're talking about eternity. This isn't something to be taken lightly. Jesus is the ONLY way, the ONLY truth and the ONLY life. Please make sure, be 1000% certain where you are going when you breathe your last breath here. It could be today tomorrow or 5 years from now. No one, except God, knows when your days are up. No one. Regardless, we will all one day die and then..we all will stand before the almighty God. What will He say to you? 👑 Well done! Welcome home my child! A misconception is that you only suffer for a brief period of time and then die when you go to hell; that's not true. When I used to live in Seattle, my friend would drive 3 hours to go to this famous bakery and pick up 10 boxes of the supposedly "oh my goodness so irresistible" salmon puff pastry 🥧. I told her: "You're crazy! 3 hours just to get pastries??" Little did I know she was right. When I finally tried it for the first time, the world seemed to be on hold for a moment. It was so soft yet crunchy, the sweet tangy creamy flowy sauce wrapped the salmon so perfectly, the warmth of the dough comforted my soul. It tasted so so good! (Especially on that day where it was freezing and raining) Words cannot describe it! But no matter how well I try to describe the amazing salmon puff pastry, you won't know til you try and experience it yourself. It is the same with knowing Jesus and accepting Him into your heart. His goodness is so good.. No words, no book, no pastor can ever ever fully convey it. Once Jesus lives in your heart, man! Your life is so dramatically (in a good way) transformed and you'd wish you'd accepted Him sooner. His love is better than life itself. His grace and kindness will move you to (happy) tears every single day. His goodness is..so incredibly, indescribably, irresistibly amazing. Nothing, absolutely nothing can ever ever compare to it. Once you have Jesus as your Lord, best friend, perfect Father.. Man.. You'll find indescribable joy, hope, love, victory, freedom, purpose, peace that no one and no thing can ever ever offer. I can go on and on and on, but you won't understand it til you experience Him yourself. Seek Him today. Ask Him to come into your life today. And be amazed at His goodness. 🙆Part2🙆 Now I'm NOT speaking of perfection. If Jesus desired perfection trust me.. I wouldn't even be here right now. I'm an imperfect, broken sinner who is trying her best to follow, obey and love Jesus with all her heart. But I do get distracted, I do sometimes put other things first (like TV and food) before Jesus. I mess up a lot of times, but Jesus promises (and Jesus ALWAYS ALWAYS fulfills His promises) that when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us. He knows that we are going to mess up, because He didn't design and therefore expect us to be perfect robots. 🤖 But He also knows our hearts. He knows when we are actually trying our best to love, obey, seek and serve Him with all of our hearts and strength. But He also knows when we are trying to do that to receive temporary forgiveness and then sin again the next day. He knows. "But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.” Jeremiah 17:10 Be transparent with Him. He already knows what's going on in your secret heart and mind. And He's always ready and willing to help you with whatever you're struggling with. No matter how dark, shameful, irreversible you think your struggle is.. Jesus is the only One who can offer true healing, true freedom from ANY bondage. Come to Him today and taste His goodness kindness, patience, faithfulness, gentleness, grace, joy, love and almighty power as He sets you free. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. " John 8:36 I believe that we're in the last miles of our race here in earth, don't give up. Don't go astray. "DNF" aka did not finish. Every athlete hates this. Months and months of training and not finishing.. It's every athlete's nightmare. Imagine running a marathon. That's 26.2 miles continously. I wish that it was broken down into 3 pieces..10 mile on day 1 another 10 on day 2 and the last 6.2 on day 3..but unfortunately that's not how it works. That would be considered a "DNF". How are you running your spiritual race? Are you living like the world one day and then living for Jesus the other day? Unfortunately that will be a "DNF" when you will see Jesus face to face. Jesus says in Revelation 3:16:"But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!" As true followers of Jesus Christ, we cannot have 2 masters. We cannot be half in and half out. We cannot live like the world one day, then live for Jesus another day. That just doesn't work. There are at least 39 verses about wholeheartedness and this one in particular:"Love the Lord with ALL of your heart, ALL of your soul, ALL of your mind and ALL of your strength" is mentioned numerous times. Basically exotic cars, mansions, vacations, designer bags, diamonds..all the things of this world. Yes those are blessings and they ALL are a gift from God. But what does true blessing actually look like? A true blessing is one that can never perish, that can never be taken away, that can never be lost. Wanna know what it is? Being a child of the One true living God: Jesus Christ. There's no greater blessing than that. Why? 🌝Lasts forever 🌝Loved unconditionally & eternally 🌝Having unshakable joy & hope bc we know that we have the ultimate & final victory 🌝Life filled with enormous purpose 🌝Free from all of our sins and mistakes. Every single one of them. No more shame or guilt. Have you been injured? Not fun! I really really can not can NOT stand injuries. At the same time, I'm grateful for them. Huh? Let me explain. Usually injuries occur where you're the weakest. While you're injured, you're supposed to strengthen that muscle to make it heal faster. Honestly, I'm lazy to stretch and do strengthening exercises, but injuries force me to NOT be lazy about it and actually do them. 😅 After I'm healed, I actually become stronger. Where are you the weakest spiritually? Honestly when God told me to work on my many flaws and weaknesses, I was like "Maybe later God? Not right now." But the more I delayed it, the more distant I felt with God. The more broken, the more troubled, the more heavy my heart became. It's like carrying a big heavy burden on your shoulders. Why do we do that to ourselves? Jesus already died for that. For whatever we're struggling with. For whatever we're addicted to. For whatever burdens our soul. It is finished. All we have to do is to come humbly before Him and ask Him to help us. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Jesus can do the impossible. His name is above all other names. Nothing absolutely nothing is too hard for Him. So today, choose to lay down all your burdens down at His feet and be amazed at how light and at peace you will be. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Why isn't God doing something about all this evil? He did. He created YOU. You are supposed to be the hands and feet of Jesus. You are supposed to be the light of the world. God didn't save you and me to live a happy go lucky selfish life while ignoring the fact that still today over 1 million children are being sex trafficked each year, 50 million babies are aborted each year, 9 million people are dying of starvation each year, 785 million people don't have access to clean water. This life is NOT about me. This life is NOT about you. This life is about being the hands and feet of Jesus by helping those in need, by speaking up for the voiceless and to bring glory to His name. He created you with a purpose. A purpose to make this world a better place. A purpose to make a difference. A purpose to bring His light and His hope to others. A purpose to transform lives. Just as Jesus came to serve and NOT to be served, we all should serve others. He called us to do so. No, this earth will never be perfect and be without any evil (that's reserved for Heaven), but that doesn't mean that we should sit back, watch and do nothing about it. Instead of pointing fingers, complaining and blaming God, let's DO something about it. Can you loose your salvation? 🤷 Yes and no. Let me explain. No, because no one and no thing can ever separate you from the love of God. Once you're His, no one can snatch you out of His hand. Yes, because first of all you need to be a child of God. Everyone is created by God, yes, but not everyone is God's child. It's not automatic. YOU have to choose to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Yes, because just believing that God exists, just saying a prayer that you have accepted Jesus yet still living in sin, yet still being lukewarm, yet still being half with the world and half with God, yet spending no time with Him, yet having zero relationship with Him, yet knowing His words but neglecting to obey it because your feelings are more "relevant".. You are not truly His. 🙅 So long answer short, once you are TRULY Jesus's, then no one and no thing can ever ever separate you from Him. That's great news! Thank you Jesus! 🙌 However, we have to be 💯% sure that we are truly His child. You don't want to get this one wrong. This will determine where you'll spend your eternity. And once you're there, there's no end. No escape. ALMOST right is still wrong. ALMOST His child will not be enough for you to go to Heaven. This might sound harsh or "offensive", but I rather you get offended now and for you to eventually know the only truth than for you to suffer for eternity. I rather loose you as a friend here and now, but gain a friend in Heaven forever. "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."
