some of the series “sharp teeth and jagged edges” i did a couple years ago.

a simple point and shoot series documenting anything i thought was ordinary/everyday, unpolished but interesting. they’re nothing special but i do love them. i still never got around to posting them on my photography instagram lol. also tumblr fucks up the compression, they actually look good…i promise.

A mother ewe stands defiantly in grief over the limp body of her lamb, her breath carries in the freezing air. From the lamb’s mouth, a trickle of blood colourises the snow. A murder of crows encases the pair. The landscape bleak and cloudy. Despite the mother’s bravery and stoic determination, the situation appears hopeless.

some old shots from my pylon obsession phase. actually, i still love pylons. aren’t they so beautiful. horrifying too, of course. they’re so ugly, always standing in fields, ruining the whole natural order of things, but they’re vital to modern life now, we wouldn’t even be able to talk to eachother without them. isn’t there something so alien about them!? i find them very foreboding, but we all just pass them by.
