For Namor, one of the strangest things about being on the surface world was the food. It changed so much so often. When Namor had spent time among the humans during the war, much of their food had been boiled and tasteless. Betty had told Namor it was temporary, a consequence of war rationing, but Namor had not believed her. He’d been more than relieved to sink back under the waves and feast once more on hearty fish, delicious seaweed, roast squid.
