It’s this scene from chapter 161 of the novel, I can’t believe we’ve come this far, this scene is finally getting illustrated. Still feels like a fever dream 😭😭

The voice belonged to someone I hadn't been expecting to hear. I quickly lowered my arm, the sudden light stinging my eyes. I could make out his luxurious golden hair and ruby-red eyes, even as my vision blurred, trying to adjust.

"Callisto?"

I wondered if I was dreaming as I stared blankly up at the man in front of me. His ruby eyes suddenly darted downwards until they were much closer to my face, and his golden hair was tickling my forehead.

He scrunched up his nose, "I can't have you waking up already. I haven't even kissed you yet." His laughing baritone was loud and clear thanks to our close proximity and his words jolted me to attention.

I will print this panel and plaster it on my wall so it can be the first thing I see when I wake up. Father and mother are back to serve us the most delicious, toe-curling, gut-wrenching angst

There’s a certain appeal in knowing we’ll get Callisto in shambles in the next chapter. He will be so angry too, can’t wait for his new range of expressions, Suol is going so hard with these last few chapters, literally feeding us with masterpiece after masterpiece ✨🤭

Y’all better get your ibuprofen ready because we’re suffering from now on, and it’s only suffering, hurt no comfort type of thing. The coming of age scene where Penelope collapsed will be in about 7/8 chapters at most so we’ll be served angst continuously ✨🫶

Aaaah I also thought about this so many times, and you’re right. we need more Reynold content 😭 FREE MY MAN

Anyhow his position is interesting because being the second son of a Duke, Reynold doesn’t have as many duties as his older brother.

He isn’t necessarily required to marry to keep the family going by producing a heir, (that’s Derrick’s job), he can if he wants to but he’s not obligated to do so. Reynold could very well remain a bachelor for the rest of his life and no one would bat an eye (tho others would try to offer him marriage proposals with their daughters).

One thing we know for sure, Reynold is pretty dedicated to his knight training as we’ve seen it brought up numerous times whenever he appears.

And although it’s not mentioned, we can assume he wants to become a swords master, he would brag about it at every opportunity too lmao

I always had this one hc where Reynold managed to gain some high function for the imperial knights (to stay close to Penelope and also to ‘keep an eye on Callisto’ but that’s all in his head).

He is talented, so it’s not hard to imagine Callisto seeing some sort of potential in him and granting him that place at the palace, (if he gets the chance to piss off his brother-in-law more often, then that’s an added bonus)

Crying at the realization that Reynold barely had a role in the story-

Was he even mentioned when normal mode was being discussed? As I recall it, Callisto was mentioned killing Penelope and falling in love with Ivonne and making her empress, Winter was mentioned to have turned back time at the end and brought her to the estate, Eckles was loyal to Penelope but switched to Laila's side and took care of her, Derrick... Well his role was also minimal if I recall correctly, but!

...But then there's also the route Penelope's taking in the current timeline, following the plot. So little is mentioned about Reynold!

For example, what are his ambitions? Penelope wants to survive, Callisto wishes to be the perfect emperor, Winter wants to save the world, Derrick wants to be succeed and become a duke that can care for and protect his family Eckles wants freedom, Laila wishes to become immortal and rule the world, *the empress wants to throne her son*, but what of Reynold?

Unless he really, truly, just wanted nothing more than to bully Penelope at first and have her kicked out of the house, and then be one of the babygirls that take care of her without end...?

I try coming up with headcanons about his life during and after the main story, but there's so little to work with (Although it's not just with him for after the main story, but also all the other mls) 😭

I've seen him training, so perhaps he wishes to become a swords master? But it's highly likely it's just because he'll eventually become the commander of knights and he has to do this-

Maybe, he'll work to protect commoners better after learning Penelope's story in the attic scene? Since he's compassionate? Like Robin Hood, as someone once said to me?

Or he could build a fortune gambling-

But I need more about him!!!! Or my life as a Reynold stan will be incomplete-!

Hello! I am a huge fan of your WMMAP stories, and your writing style in general. It’s just so descriptive without sounding pretentious or overly repetitive, and it’s super easy for me to imagine what’s happening. Golden Chains and Angel’s Macabre are tied for my favorite story of yours.

VADD has recently sucked me in though, and your yandere!Penelope drabble has been living rent-free in my head for a while now. If it’s not too much trouble, could I request some headcanons further exploring what sort of yandere Penelope would be like? Either OG!Penelope or Siyeon-Penelope, since I don’t know which one you might prefer writing for, and because I think they might be two different types of yanderes.

"...Found you." A gunshot sounds, and birds fly into the distance.

Siyeon!Penelope: Would be an exacerbated version of her original form, her fans would have pointed feathers where at times she'd use them to stick into the sides of women who dared to look at her prince, when they turn to yap at her for the sudden pain they wouldn't see her poison ring tapped into their glass- how their champagne would bubble just a little bit more...how unfortunate it would be for them if they just happened to slip on a dropped handkerchief and hit their head just a bit too hard for the average person to recover..and how she would go to their bedside, to see their eyes widen in fear, not knowing, not remembering just exactly who she is in their amnesiac state, and hearing her whisper into their ear, "Count your days, for they are numbered."

Though they are silly, you come to appreciate these moments so much, especially when the chapters become so heavily driven in plot and the story gets more serious. Penelope flipping off the Eckhart brothers will forever be hilarious lmao

Derrick deserves it, it’s always his fault no matter what. Remember, if you have some type of problem, just know that it was Derrick’s fault. Normalize blaming Derrick for anything and everything 🤭

It’s getting more clear that this is brainwash, and the greenish highlight is proof of that. Much like it happened with Reynold, you can see that unnatural green glow in Eckles’ pupil.
