Happy snowy Tuesday friends and fans!❄️🤩I have a super social media tip. 👉🏼Watch what you say on social media - YOUR clients are online too and they can read. Guys, the last thing we ever want to do is hurt our brand or others by the content we share online about our client experiences. 👎🏼 Imagine going about your day and seeing a post from someone you have worked with, are working with, or will potentially work with, and their post is speaking poorly about an experience with a client(s) and that client could potentially be you.😢How does it make you feel? Would you want to work with that business knowing that all confidentiality went out the window on the post? Probably not. I know I wouldn’t because trust has been broken. I’m not saying to NOT share your client experiences - just watch HOW you say it. Read it 100 times if you have to and ask yourself the questions. 👉🏼Am I hurting my brand with this? 👉🏼Am I hurting others with this content? 👉🏼Is this content helping someone else or is it being shared to make me feel better or get attention? If the answers to this are all YES. Again, go back and adapt your content. In social media, someone is always watching 👀so make sure your brand is being represented as indented, and don’t leave room for folks to doubt the intentions of your messaging. Questions or comments? I am especially excited about this holiday season and that's because this is the first year since my step-dad passed, James away in December of 2019, that my mom has gotten back into the Christmas Spirit and that makes me soooo happy! 💃🏻You see, besides the celebration of our Lord and Savior's birth, it is my mom who taught us to be excited and celebrate Christmas and every holiday. 🫶🏼No matter how broke she may have been, we wouldn't know because our home always looked so festive and full of love. 🩵She always pulled some special surprise that left us with so much joy. Don't worry, we heard about it later on as adults about all the sacrifices and I am sure you have too.😆Lol.
Our trees our special and all have a meaning
🎄The teal Christmas tree is, well you know who - Elevate It Now!
🎄The traditional white, red and green are in memory of the two we have lost. James and Verónica. James's favorite holiday was Christmas, he LOVED Lionel Trains and we lost him 12/24/2019 and Verónica passed 3/23/2017 and loved the traditional colors of Christmas. The beautiful red and green tree skirt is hers and although she loved Star Wars too, those ornaments are being kept in safe place for my Shnookerdoodle.
🎄Our traditional real Christmas tree is full of all our family ornaments combined and go back to 1973.

Hey, hey friends and fans!🤩I am about to contradict a saying by many that is so untrue. Ignorance is not bliss folks. And happiness DOES NOT come from a lack of knowledge. It keeps you from growing in every aspect of your life.💯 What does this have to do with marketing or even running a business? EVERYTHING.🙌🏼 Marketing evolves hourly these days and it is our job to ensure that we are constantly evolving with it and adapting to those changes so that we are able to provide our clients and anyone we serve the best information, advice, and counseling we can so THEY can succeed.👊🏼 If we hide and excuse ourselves claiming ignorance how will our clients or others who we are responsible for, going to grow or get the results they hired us to get them? How does anything grow?🤦🏻♀️ It doesn’t. It stays in the same comfy place it has always been. No growth. No development. No inspiration and nothing to offer the world but its pure existence. Who wants to live in that? NO ONE. But they are out there, and it is our job to at least try to curve the behavior with education. If you can’t – RUN! Nothing is growing there and neither are you. I don’t know about you, but I am in the business of Elevating things and making a change in the world and that of my clients and the entities I serve. 🙌🏼 It’s in our name and one of the “whys” as to why I gave it that name rather than some common marketing name that inspired nothing. My tip for today - Elevate It.🛸🚀✈️

Happy Tuesday friends and fans! 🤩Super exciting news for business! 👉🏼Google NOW allows businesses to add their social media profile links to their Google My Business Profile! 🙌🏼 We no longer have to wait for the crawl to display them. Super cool update.
All you have to do is go to your Google My Business Profile 👉🏼Select “Edit.”👉🏼Go to “Social Media Profiles” add your social media networks and links and hit save. It will take a few minutes to display as the folks at Google verify the information. Within a few minutes, you should see the information displayed in your business's Knowledge Panel.
Super easy folks.💯Don’t let this opportunity go by and take advantage of this awesome update that will help others get social with your business and more importantly – help your brand stand out from others who may not take the time to do this.

Content is the reason search began in the first place. 🙌🏼 It is where the focus should always be - CONTENT.👊🏼 Whether it’s a social media post, story, blog, video, text message, email, reel, TikTok, YouTube short, Pin, Snap, white paper if anyone is doing any of those, press release, and basically any piece of content that comes out of your business should focus on your business goals and the services you offer that will help others solve their business problems or pain points. The latest data shows that Google processes over 8.5 Billion search queries a day.😳That is 8.5 Billion queries from folks asking how to bake a cake to the best marketing agency near me. Think about that and how is your content ranking in these searches. Then take that and apply it to the content that you are trying to rank for. It takes consistency, great content with the keywords that folks are searching for, and the engagement that content receives from your audience. This is measured in terms of comments and shares. The more people engage with your content, the more Google will consider it “relevant” and have it appear in the search results you are looking for or your audience. There is more that goes into this and we will go into that later. But focus on using keywords in your content that support the topic you are trying to convey. If you are writing a blog about Marketing Strategy, focus on that as your keyword & write around that.

Happy Tuesday friends and fans! 🤩Coming at you with an important public service announcement regarding bank fraud and security tips to help you reduce the risk if becoming a victim of this. Our accounts have been hacked a total of three times this year. 😭The scary thing is that they are using our names, debit card & account numbers to open fraudulent accounts while we still had them. This made it more difficult to prove to the credit union that WE WERE NOT THE ONES that opened up these multiple other accounts. All of them were stock and bond places and one was a check cashing company. They even set up Venmo accounts. 👉🏼Don’t let this happen to you! If you are logging into the let’s say Washington Gas or Novec or even your mortgage company – you are providing your information in another platform and these platforms are getting hacked all the time and that includes all YOUR bank information. 👉🏼The best thing you can do is set up your bill paying BEHIND your financial institution’s paywall. 🔒 When you do this, the institutions send out the payments on your behalf so they are safely going to the vendor you are looking to pay WITHOUT your personal or financial information. Plus, most of them offer this service for free. The inconvenience we have suffered and the stress we had to deal with is not worth it when we could’ve been safer to begin with. Thieves are restless and every day get more sophisticated in the process. 🔒Protect yourself and your financial well-being NOW. Please feel free to ask any questions below. Happy Friday friends and fans! 🤩With 82% of shoppers looking online and in social channels to make decisions about their next purchase, is your online presence ready? Remember that your competitors are only a click away. Don’t let them click away. Give them a reason to stay and do business with you.
I’ve got a checklist for you! Make sure the following are in check:
* Your branding and messaging are convening the right message.
* Your visuals are supporting your messaging and your brand.
* All your contact and other information on your social channels is updated, correct, and consistent across your profiles
* Your social media handles and website match your business name – as much as possible.
* If you are a local business – set up your Google My Business Profile and post your content, events, and sales to it. This shows up in search with your reviews and company information.
* If you have received a poor review – respond to it. Folks are looking at reviews from others, but they are also looking to see how the business responded. If you don’t respond they will assume the complaint is valid.
* Don’t overwhelm yourself thinking you need to be in every social media network. Invest in the ones where your ideal client is and nurture those.
These may seem like a basic checklist but the number of folks I talk to tells me something different. Don’t let your business leads go to the next click because you haven’t done these minor checks to ensure they don’t.
