not to out myself as someone who has read copious amounts of marvel fanfic from the years 2015 to 2018 but it really is kind of baffling how large the gap between the quality of the (mcu) source material and the quality of the fan created content is. i think black widow was given like two vaguely compelling lines throughout the captain america trilogy, none of which i remember, but ive had the phrase “natasha was five foot nothing and colossal inside” tattooed on the inside of my brain since i first read 4 minute window like 7 years ago

Glad to know I’m not alone in the clown party who wondered about the pills and him being weak and out of breath after his fight with Chozen and touching his chest, and thought he was dying with him visiting a hospital and all his talk about legacy and ‘everything I do is for the future’.

Given that Daniel has now done his crane kick and quicksilver, I actually would love an ending where neither Daniel, nor Chozen, nor Kreese, nor Johnny are able to take him down.

Kinda poetic if the only thing that finally ends Terry is his own body. The only enemy he could not defeat without destroying himself.

Terry in the Hospital Thoughts...

So... I was talking to a friend who works in a hospital and she said:

asdfgdh now idk if that's common or what but I looked it up and it's either Critical Care Unit or Cardiac Care Unit.

The heart thing again. It fits. 🥴

Obviously I know that it doesn't mean that every hospital is the same but hoo boy that coincidence took me out.

The whole scene is fascinating, because Terry doesn't want to tell anyone what he's doing there- and Johnny assumes that he was following them, but you can tell that Terry quickly thinks on his feet for an answer:

"To.... congratulate you."

He's taken aback by the question, wasn't anticipating running into anyone he knows or needing to explain himself. But lmao the only recent thing in his memory that he can associate Johnny with is the Sekai Taikai. Nothing else.

Resourceful Terry is resourceful.

I still don't know if the terminal illness storyline is scrapped or not but I hope we find out soon 🤡
