Out of all of the thing-fr-ideas blogs, you were my personal favorite. I hope one day to see your return. I still think about that one April fools update post with the starmap whenever I think of these blogs. It’s my favorite piece of fr-related fiction I’ve ever seen- and there was a lot more good stuff here. This place felt like a hub for some of the most unique writings I’ve ever seen surrounding this game.

Ah, thanks for the heads up, it comes with the territory with this blog. I am running a horror blog technically, so it's bound to get one or two flagged. I just deleted it for safety sake however.

With the Wind Runes, everything was predictable, wake up, make food, and help whoever passes by their traveling shops, Belanoir and Deirdre were lovely and all, but they weren't enough.

Herblore is less predictable, if only by a little. Sabori's plants often leaving him paralyzed and empty, at least until they're pulled. But still, boring.

The alchemists however, you couldn't keep track of their moves, even if you tried. And people tried. Unfortunately those folks were lost, sure their families got letters from them! But, they weren't the same were they?

Any veilspuns or faes that visited their stands never returned. The three veils who worked there seemed... Empty almost. The dragons who worked there seemed friendly enough! But the few who knew what happened when you truly pissed one of them off are, few and far between to say the least.

Eggs are lost in their presence, and more than one sets of sculls have been found adorning their nests.

Isn't it such a relief when they leave?

You have a splitting headache. It won’t stop.

You’ve tried everything in the book to make it stop, but nothing is working, and it is keeping you awake at night, you haven’t been able to sleep in days.

You feel as if you are splitting into two, but that’s not right, it can’t be, can it?

Just a sleep-deprived delusion, you’re sure.

But when your eyes suddenly start hurting, when something begins to grow from the top of your head, and your vision is split into 5, it is hard to ignore.

You go to every medical specialist in the entire region of sornieth in which you and your clan and flight live. Your flight’s festival draws closer, and you fear you won’t be able to attend if this headache(?) doesn’t stop soon.

Your neck begins to split into two, during an agonizingly painful 24 hours, where your head hurt worse than ever, and you could not breathe for half of it. After it ended, you felt like there was two of you in your head.

It is a struggle to swallow, as your tail split into two. Your clanmates began to help you look for a medical expert.

It is too late.

On the eve of that seventh day, your head splits into two.

You, as you knew yourself, becomes two.

You, now two, were born anew, as an aberration. With two heads on two necks, and two tails twisted into a helix.

And from there, the scroll does the last finishing touches to perfect the form of the two you had become.

A incoherent brain worm, freshly fallen from my dead brain. I've always wondered about about Imperials dragons caused Emperor dragons, and why do "many" have to fall to create them? Then I realized, the lore is probably rifled with unreliable narrators, and sometimes they gloss over the rotting truth underneath. So I have two debate questions, that may not make sense lore wise. nonetheless, I ask: Who said that Emperor dragons occur naturally? Or Imperials have to be dead to create one? 1/2

Whose to say, we must admit, such phenomena are only studied from the outside... It would be lovely if someone were to say... Test it for us.

There should be an item that permanently removes dragons from a dragons lineage so you can have those sweet sweet manufactured unbred g1s. However having a loved one be ripped out of reality gives your dragon depression and it will no longer eat or fight or move (so it cant be sold or exalted). Thank you.

They say when you love someone, you give a little piece of yourself to them. It only makes sense that permanently removing someone from your life would hurt you...

every day i think about the implications of breed change scrolls and your body warping under a greater being's control. what does it want? idk. you get the impression that it (is the thing an it?) thinks you look better in this new and strange form. you can change nothing about it, powerless fae skydancer. you dont understand. you never will, and your life is different now. you are too small for your skin, a little thing in a too-big-box that is still dwarfed by a larger thing which you swear you saw as your wings changed shape and your bones cracked and warped. your skin is familiar in coloring but your face is utterly alien. you cannot change this. you don't understand. who are you? you don't understand. you can't understand. why?

on the 1st of january, 2022, the tidelord returned. his profile was intact, but all of his forum posts were gone. his account description was barren. and upon visiting his lair tab, you would find that his character sprite was empty. nothing was there, just the empty background scene, and his familiar. his familiar who was turned away from you, facing backwards.

the water flight's territory is in the center of sornieth's map. in the center of the water flight's territory-- right at the bottom of the ocean in the gravel and sand is a hole. it's not visible to the naked eye, it's obscured. it is a very small and thin hole, a wooden cork fitted neatly into it. this hole... is called the plug.

Time travel spells. Idt those are canonically a thing in FR but whatever. Somedragon travels thousands of years into the past for studying and finds humans.

I wonder how that would affect the world as dragon kind knows it. The butterfly effect and all.
