The letter informed that Xemnas's child dawn, who he secretly had with a mistress outside of wedlock was being held hostage by the fiendish Ansem and was to be crowned his princess at Hollow bastion.
Enraged, Xemnas lept to action, bringing the gunslinger Xigbar, the Bard Demyx, qnd the rogue Larxene to the demon infested city on the night of the black ball.

Upon finding a hall gaurded by a shadow demon, they managed to slip by and avoid the traps laid before them, however the two ended up seperating with Larxene being forced back to the ballroom.
Meanwhile Demyx had snuck his way into the young Dawns bedchamber where he found the girl scared out of her wits, but he managed to calm her enough to make an escape.
Back in the ballroom larxene joins the others, and Ansem the Seeker of Darkness realizes his prize is gone. Enraged he attacks the party and blood is spilt.
He managed to barely escape with his life giving warnings of a horror to come as Dawns Untapped potential finally awakens in a burst of wild magic, giving Ansem the means to escape.

Remnant
Though remnant is in itself a single kingdoms it actually has four Kings all counting as one.
The wise King Osmond, the Hardened King Ironwood, the Brave King Leo, and the Stern Queen Glenda. Together these four guide their lands future though...saddly tend to be prone to infighting. Though they may at one time have been an unstoppable team, as Age withers them and darkness encroaches many of the four isles of remnant find themselves desperate...
Though Remnant is a home of industry, nothing shows just how formidable they are then their "Huntsman guilds"
Beacon, Haven, Atlas, and Vacuo are capitals and homes for these guilds and Remnant is the only kingdom that serves as a true rival to Midgar for industry and sciences.
Underland
The red and white kingdoms of underland are...strange. many say the place may be a bit 'touched' by forces beyond comprehension but saddly there is no true explanation for the odd maddness that seems to enhabit the land.
Caught in a ...well what....might be a civil war between the kingdoms of red and white the place is a madhouse of oddities and strangeness with many who enter and live to come home coming back cackling maddly and trying to bite off their own ears and some just having no memory of the experience.
All thats known is that...there is a red queen...and a white queen...and they dont like eachother

Midgar
Midgar is a land ravaged by civil war, seperated into four contenants the King Rufus Shinra and his knack for sciences lead him to become a force to be feared, while there are rebel forces seek to dethrone King Rufus, king Rufus himself seems to be undergoing some kind of mysterious project and tends to keep such secrets to himself, and in order to do so he created a military police force called the SOLDIERS as well as his own personal force called the Turks.
As Midgard is a place of industry and progress, its steamworks and power plants are some of the most facinating and frightening factors of its success, with cities of metal that reach the stars and rumors that they found a way to solidify magic itself, its a terrifying place from the outset.
Agrabah
Also known as the burning Kingdom Or the Scorched lands, agrabah is a desert kingdom that is quite peaceful, With the biggest worry being the land itsel!
Giant centapedes, sandstorms, and all manner of threats from the sands have made Agrabah a fierce force to face.
Dont be fooled however, as there is a beatiful side to this kingdom. The waters that run within its capital are the clearest cleanest most refreshing waters one would ever drink, and they say a single loaf of bread may fill you for a day! Agrabah is a land of growth and promise, and many in the past a have tried to conqure it and failed. Part of this is because of the lands Sultan.
The Sultan is a jolly fellow who loves to laugh and often carries the wonder of a child, open to knew ideas and negotiations with even the most terrible of foes, but he is no fool, the Sultan has faught in many a battle for his land with schimitar and the flames of Ifrit in his palm not going to backing down an inch....
These days though the sultan is old. And tends to be forgetful and scatterbrained, good thing he has the Fair princess Jasmine to keep him in check.
Corona
Corona is a lush beautiful land filled with deep forests and Jungles, many druids come to call this place their home due to its deep connections to the faewilds and many an herbalist may find a veritable wonderland of plantlife.
Its King and Queen though old and withered still hold the throne, and do so out of duty and saddly a lack of an heir, at one point they had a daughter, a young babe who was born sickley, but thanks to a magic flower they where able to save her life and grant her a most magnificent mane of hair.
However in the night someone broke into their daughters sleeping chamber and spirited away with her...
Thus every year the king and queen hold their lantern festival on their faughters birthday, in hopes that she would one day come home.

WorldLore:
The Pride Lands
The Pride Lands are a Vast Savana, filled with wildlife and game a plenty. Its Ruler the Noble King Mufasa, is a just if not stubborn man whose faught bravely alongside his brother Scar and his Queen Serabi.
Before the fall of Radiant Garden, Mufasa was allied with the Wise King Ansem and both shared a bond of respect and friendship, though after the fall and subsequent birth of Prince Simba The Pridelands cut ties with Hollow Bastion, and now are caught in a terrifying war between themselves and Ansems abyssal forces...allied with Arendelle, they hope to one day defeat their new enemy together.
The pridelands value honor, strength, and will. They are a true force of nature itself with the Lion as their Kingdoms crest.
The Twilight Kingdom
The Twilight Kingdom is one of great mystery, stories say that it was once a realm of fae, thus the land holds a natural power unrivaled by most. Though some say it has to do with thw mysterious 'thorn vally' and how it was once home to a great and terrible Dragon Witch. Regardless of the reason, these days not much is known about the Twilight Kingdom, outside the fact that it contains an ancient manor, which is said to be an entirely made of clockwork...
After the fall of Radiant Garden, The Kingdom of Twilight closed off its boarders permanently, and refuses to allow any outlanders within its walls...some say the skies are so dark that its always night there.
Arendelle
A pristine land of Culture and the arts they say Arendelle.is simultaniously the most beautiful and most teethgrindingly frustrating places to live. Winters that last almost all year round whilst also being the most gorgeously glamorous views one can find.
Holding values in chivalry, grace, and in er strength, there was a while where Arendelle was entirely against the use of unholy magic (that is Magic that does not in anyway serve the gods.) However after a Visit from Ansem the Wise, their eyes where opened to not only their previous fear of all things magic but to just how big the world truely was.
As both a reward and a sign of trust from the queen herself she handed Ansem the service of her two best Paladins/clerics, black and white Ravens of Odin.
After the fall however Arendelle was forced to close its boarders. As they now fight the abyss alongside the burning heart of the Pridelands.
Queen Elsa is Just, polite, and poise...at first glance. In truth she can be a bit of a prankster like her Sister but she knows when to back down and give a good show. Born of unnatural ice powers her family saught to lock her away and seek a cure for her ailment, but years later it took Ansems wisdom and her Sisters love to make her realize that her power was nothing to fear, and it was time she stopped running from who she was.

Once upon a time, there was a kingdom cast in daybreak, ruled by benevolent king of such great wisdom that it was said he could foresee the coming futures of thousands of worlds.
One day, he foretold the coming of a war, and this battle would rip the kingdom apart, but alas this war against these otherworldly forces may not be stopped.
So this King, sent out his wisest and fiercest of pupils, the Five, to foretell of the coming war, dubbed the war of Thirteen Darknesses.
The king soon disappeared, sending away his right hand the Sage Luxu, to carry their story, as the inevitable war rips the world asunder and Creating the lands as we know them today.
Thousands of years later the world was scarred from the ancient battles, and all was peaceful once again, when a dragon of Darkness rose to cover the world in darkness, in this time of crisis the five rose again from their tomb to spread word of an oncoming tragedy, a new war comes, to rip at the world, and so it came to be.
This war became known as The War of the Seven Keys...
In the end, seven heros of light rose to the dark ones challenge and sent him back until the world, where all will remain as nothing and never ending.
And so many year later the world is left again, to recover as the five do slumber until new disaster rises again.
The world is covered and ruled by the thirteen Kingdoms
Hollow Bastion
The Pridelands
The Kingdom of Twilight
Verlassen
Arendelle
Midgar
Sylviras
Amacrï
Agrabah
Corona
Remnant
And the red and white Kingdoms of Underland.
These Kingdoms thirteen are the key to the worlds prosperity, but over time they come to their own troubles, as chaos comes in many forms both vile and well meaning...
Here We shall look over the kingdoms their troubles and their passions, And come to understand what chaos there exists.
Hollow Bastion:
The kingdom of hollowbastion was once known by another name. Radiant Garden...
It was ruled by a kind generous ruler who would find those abandoned by fortune and grant them a chance to walk on a path of light...but alas. Hia kindness was his undoing, as it was that very kindness that opened the gates of the abyss.
Believing he where an unfortunate begger, Ansem the wise invited a man dressed in thick tattered robes in for food and drink, ignoring the strangers terrifying appearance. However this was no such begger, as after their meal the fiend regained his strength, revealing his true nature as the Unnamed seeker of darkness...
Consumed by hatred and jealousy the Seeker casted the Noble king into the abyss, and burned those the king loved most. Driving any of the kings most loyal beneath the ground.
Once the Seekers Reign was solidified, Radiant Garden became Hollow Bastion...and to mock the previous king, the Seeker took on his name, as Ansem, the seeker of Darkness.
Today Hollow Bastion is protected and faught over by the rebel forces, who seek nothing more then the true heir ro thw throne to be put in his rightful place...though prince ienzo, remains missing...
