hi! and thank you, i’m doing ok ^^.

if u’ve been wondering where i’ve been- i’ve mostly been taking a break! still am.. i’m not exactly used to having such a big attraction on social media and part of it overwhelmed me, but! i’ve also been busy with my own life and soon becoming a young adult. i’m sure i’ll probably post something bb related again soon, but i’m trying not to rush myself tho ^^’.

it’s rough to admit but i’ve definitely felt the same for a while. really the only thing keeping me going with this show is how pleasant the community is and the fact that it’s growing constantly, especially after the movie.

i don’t obsess over bob’s the way i did back in 2020, i wish i still did. it was such an important thing to me back then and it’s still important now but i happen to be more indulged in other fandoms. it’s not like i’m planning to abandon this blog because of that though, i still enjoy making content but i feel bad when i get asks about headcanons or aus because it’s just been so long since i’ve really been in the bob’s burgers jam to be thinking about that 😭.

what are your thoughts on how BB has changed from like season 1 and 2 to now? I haven’t watched every episode to say too much about it but the earlier seasons just seemed more… wild lol. like I rewatch some of the early episodes and I’m like “oh my god, this is unhinged. what is happening” but it’s a good thing!! just wondered what your thoughts were since you’ve watched BB way more than I have

The earlier seasons were definitely more wild and unhinged and I honestly really miss it. Man, remember when stuff actually happened? When there were robberies and drugs and hostage situations and sexy music? We don't get that anymore. I started to notice the change around season 6 with some plots being kind of blah compared to before, but I think it's gotten really really noticeable in the past 3-4 seasons. As a result, the past few seasons have been significantly less funny, less memorable, and less worthy of a rewatch. I don't even recommend the show to people anymore, or if I do it's with a disclaimer of seasons 1-7 only.

This isn't like a secret or anything, I just haven't talked tons about it here, but I'm actually like 2 fandoms removed from Bob's at this point. I still watch new episodes and I still like chatting with fans every now and then, but I don't feel the same about the show as I used to. If there hadn't been this big shift in tone, maybe I still would.

OMG!! OMG THAT’S SO CUTE!!! tysm!! 😭🌸✨✨. unfortunately i don’t have many headcanons to share BUT i do have old, and i mean old (like early 2021), drawings from when i was first drafting it. plus the swap au i’ve shared with you guys is only the first route, i also started a second one with gene swapped with louise 😭.

the only thing gene! tina shares with gene is that she’s musically in tuned and kind of eccentric and bubbly but not outwardly grotesque like gene or as messy. she’s also a bit more pretentious about her music and plays the classic piano but very bouncy pieces. less focused on boys for sure.

i think that’s the most thought out headcanon i have for tina.

as for louise! gene… i hadn’t come up with much.. i vaguely remembered making him the silent but threatening type, which is VERY different from his canon counterpart. while louise! tina is just moody and rude because she’s a teen but has the fiery and rebellious traits that canon louise has. she’d also be a serious teen delinquent for sure, probably tries smoking like once or twice till rudy! jimmy jr. catches her and makes her feel bad about it that she stops completely since.

i wish i focused on bob and lin a little more, but i was mostly inspired to draw an edgy tina and i really liked the witch episode so that’s really what made this au if i’m being honest 😭.
