You meet on accident one day when you’re outside in your yard. Because it’s the middle of the week and so warm out you decide to wear a sundress for something different. Little do you know your neighbor took the day off as well and sees you tending your flowers.

Now you don’t notice her, but when Alice sees you her eyes light up in recognition and in awe of how beautiful you look. Of course she thought you looked attractive before, but something about you wearing a dress in the afternoon sun makes you look ethereal.

Alice calls out in greeting, scaring the crap out of you and making you want to hide. Especially because of your secret crush on her. But she apologizes for scaring you and assures you she is happy to see you, complimenting how good you look.

That makes your entire day and while you still feel a little stiff when you begin talking with her, as you continue to converse you get more comfortable and before you know it two hours have passed. In the process Alice invites you over for dinner.

This is out of your usual comfort zone, but Alice’s warmth and kindness draws you in and you agree to dinner together. That is one of the best decisions you have ever made. In fact that night when you go to leave you get the courage to kiss her on the cheek, lighting her up.

As time progresses, Alice slowly draws you out of your shell, encouraging you and using every opportunity to offer affection. And you love her for it. You love her so much it scares you because she holds your heart in your hands and could so easily break you.

In your fear of vulnerability you withdraw and self-protect because you don’t want to be hurt. You don’t want to be hurt and you don’t want to hurt her. You want to give her the world and more.

After not hearing from you for a couple days, Alice begins to get concerned and reaches out. By then you’re spiraling and don’t want to see her like this. But Alice loves you. And she wants to be there for you--in good times and bad.

So even though you don’t answer her phone calls or texts she comes over to check on you. You’re shocked and embarrassed at your state of living. But she just holds you close, promising she is here and isn’t going to hurt you.

While things aren’t perfect, after this Alice is more intentional and if you begin to withdraw or self isolate she helps guide you back to reality and talk you down from the ledge. If you notice Alice struggling emotionally or mentally you do your best to be there for her. 

When you do get together, although you come off as shy Alice quickly realizes you are a little snuggle bug. And she loves holding you close to her. Often you end up spending your evenings cuddled together on the couch when watching TV.

In terms of household jobs, you take care of most of the outdoor tasks because of your green thumb and Alice takes the lead when it comes to cooking and household tasks. But of course you’re both always willing to help the other.

Alice would never make you wear a dress, but she can’t deny her favorite clothing item on you is dresses. She understands that they aren’t your preference and wants you to be comfortable more than anything. But when you do put on a dress, she can hardly keep her hands off of you.

Ultimately Alice has never felt happier than when she is with you. Both of you have learned so much about yourselves and each other. And while there are some challenges, there is nowhere you would rather be.

Hi! The one you posted so far is so good and clearly a lot of effort was put into it, so I'm very excited!!

Physical: I'm 5'3/5'4, black hair, brown eyes bc I'm asian

Dem quirks: I like semi-horror things. Is that a thing? Gore, thrill, mystery. But not necessarily jumpscares. I also like analyzing film and literature, learning and immersing myself in different cultures, and just being a performer; singing, dancing, acting. Which leads me to my hopes for the future: I'd love to perform for a living, one day, and just live in a nice apartment. Big enough to dance around, but small enough to have fun just cleaning on the weekends!

Personality-wise: I'm a pretty loud person when I'm around people I like but really, I like being alone and just quiet, which people don't really expect. Alright, so you first meet Audrey on a set when working together. Your character is the best friend of Audrey’s character. While this is your biggest gig yet and the pressure is on to do well you rise to the challenge. In fact the chemistry between you two on camera is electric.

To the point that you exchange numbers to text each other after this is done. You’re able to keep a confident, at ease persona when she gives her number. But on the inside you are shocked that Audrey would want to continue talking to you. Little do you know the actress herself is shocked you would want to text her.

In the beginning you and Audrey text once or twice a day at the most. But as time goes on, without either of you being fully aware, the people around you both notice the increase in texting on your phone.

After getting to know Audrey better you learn that she has struggled with dyslexia since primary school. So she often sends voice notes to you rather than texting bace the long responses she wants to give.

Your favorite voice notes are her “good morning” ones where her voice is lower pitched and still husky from sleep as she wishes you a wonderful morning and says her plans for the day.

Because both of you work around people, the idea of going to a crowded place in public, especially for Audrey, doesn’t hold a lot of appeal. But Audrey wants to show her care for you so three months after initially meeting she reserves a private section at a hollywood restaurant and takes you on a date.

Both of you easily fall into an easy back and forth conversation and you end up spending the night at her place. While Audrey is chomping at the bit to climb all over you, you help her to slow down and savor in the moments of just being together.

One of you most intimate moments is when Audrey comes over to your home and you show her your hope chest filled with trinkets of past memories and a couple items for your dream future. In the beginning you tell Audrey she doesn’t have to listen to you ramble, but she’s happy to. And in that moment you realize you’ve fallen in love with her.

Your first “public debut” as a couple is attending an awards show together. You both put on a confident front, but by them time you get home, both of you admit the whole thing was a little nerve-wracking.

You never pop the question about moving in. It’s more like everytime you go to leave, Audrey pleads for you to stay, puppy dog eyes and all. So you slowly bring over more and more and when it comes time for you to renew your lease, you take the leap to move in with Audrey.

Now--Audrey may be older than you, but you love caring for your sunshine. You’ll send flowers to her on set on random days, jot down encouraging notes in her scripts to help if she gets frustrated about her dyslexia, and you make sure to have her favorite English snacks at home because American food is too sweet or too salty.

Audrey is not a fan of scary things. However you know she must love you when she hesitantly agrees you watch some of your favorite horror movies/TV shows. And it makes the experience less intense when you keep pausing what you’re watching to point out and analyze different filming and plot choices.

After being together for awhile, Audrey notices that even though you’re an excellent actress/ singer/ dancer, you’re opportunities are significantly more limited that hers. And you decide it's time to sit down and have a talk with Audrey about her privilege as a white woman in Hollywood.

The conversation isn’t easy, but Audrey lets you speak about your experiences without having to “prove” or “justify” them in a digestible way to her. She wants to listen and learn and it pushes her to do some of her own research to gain a better understanding. Ultimately Audrey loves you dearly and wants you to know she is eager to learn and grow. And she will support you in any and every way she can.

For your final task you write about lgbtqia+ tropes in media and performative “wokeness” by primarily cis, white male executives. And for the first time in years Lana is invested in this coverage and even offers to help you in getting interviews as well as researching the topic. In the process you both spend hours together in her office and coffee shops, inevitably getting to know one another personally as well. 

However you don’t have the guts to actually ask her out on an official date. Not because you’re expecting disinterest, but you don’t want to mess up this awesome work opportunity. But Lana wants you. And when Lana wants someone or something she gets it.

When you do actually start to date, Lana shows a much softer side, leaving small notes of encouragement in your lunch bag, lots of forehead kisses due to the height difference between you two, many a slow dance in your apartment between sips of wine and kisses.

On the other hand, at work you both maintain a professional exterior. (But everyone in the office knows you’re together just based on the way you look at each other in passing) At the end of the day when everyone goes home you move from your cubicle to her office and even though you’re still working it’s just nice to be in each other’s presence.

Lana always has you read her columns and articles before she sends them to the editors, trusting your opinion as number one. And you do the same with her. While it doesn’t happen often because you agree on most things, it does give Lana a little thrill when she writes something that you may not necessarily agree with leading to a passionate speech of your opinion. That passion and authenticity is what drew you to her in the first place.

When it comes to birthdays, holidays, or your anniversary it is always a safe bet for Lana to buy you a new record and/or more painting supplies. She loves encouraging your personal hobbies

While some may think it’s strange there is a cup of a couple paint brushes on your nightstand, they are there because if Lana is struggling to fall asleep or wakes up from a nightmare the only thing that calms her down is you “painting” on her back or over her face. Lana adores your green eyes and you will sometimes catch her studying them to see how the color shifts in different lighting or clothes that you wear. And your eyes paired with your hair is just perfect to Lana.

...Hey 😅 Long time no post. I wanted my first post to be a fic, but tbh a lot has happened in my life since January and I’m still trying to sort things out. I’m sorry if that disappoints you and understand your frustration at the lack of content. But I want to put out things I’m proud of and I need more time.

I did think about something that would be fun although I don’t know if anyone would be interested. I’m not sure if people still do this, but I remember there were certain blogs where if you send a little about yourself they’ll ship you with a certain character in a fandom. So I thought I could do that with Sarah Paulson characters. If you are interested in that sort of thing I’ll open up the submit a post feature so your entry can be longer. And here are just a couple of helpful hints to get more specific results:

Include hobbies/interests, hopes for the future, small quirks you have, favorite things (food, drinks, animals, etc.)

If you feel comfortable describe yourself a little. But don’t share private info or anything you aren’t comfortable with. This is only for fun so if you just want a general ship that’s fine. It’s only if you want to describe for example your eye color, hair color, distinctive features, etc. But within your comfort zone.
