Better example would be Master Chief come to think of it, generic ""white boy"" who is revered. But whatever, western shows having white characters, wrong. What we need is Asian people in Africa, or Mexicans in Russia, because having places have their primary race as the main character is absurd.

I'm tired and you re-enforced my will to fucking sleep through these ridiculous over-generalizations, you plonker. It's very unfortunate that I didn't read the tags first time through, otherwise I wouldn't of split this shit up, but Jesus Christ. Guess characters like Master Chief, Agent 47, Joel Miller, Luke Skywalker are just bollocks because they're """""generic white boys""""". It's almost like having overly complex characters might create a massive disconnect then simply having a point of reference character. Key example would be how 47 has no personality yet is loved by the community, or if you want to talk from a TV point of view, main dude from Tokyo Ghoul has very little personality but is quite loved. You don't need to be a Diana Burnwood or that villain dude who looks a bit loopy from Tokyo Ghoul to be respected, sometimes a blank slate helps to view said media in a way that's far more entertaining then having an complex character (Satiama from OPM) as the reference point.

Also you like BNA, the main character is generic. Stupid furry as-
