Cara was on the way to work when she noticed her car was acting up again. She came to a stop on the side of the road when smoke started to come from her car. Groaning, she got out of the car and walked around to the hood and carefully lifted it. A large could of smoke came out, hitting her face. She coughed a bit as she fanned the smoke out of her face. “Fuck.” she muttered.

Clarke was just walking home after her morning shift. She was tired so she was excited for her bed. She turned her head, when she heard someone curse. She saw a young woman bending over the hood of an obviously broken down car. She walked over to her and cleared her throat to get her attention, not wanting to startle her. “Do you need help?” She asked softly.

“I thought so too, that’s why I wanted to do this.” She told him with a shrug. “I wouldn’t compare myself to a heroine but thank you.” She giggled, with a blush covering her cheeks.

there’s a lot of possible explanations for this. maybe she’s a nun, minus the outfit. either way, it’s a weirdly unfamiliar situation for hannah and her usual carefree persona is a little shaken. ‘ - fine. ’ she pulls the shirt on over her head, and it’s surprisingly tight-fitting (her chest is large). ‘ better? ’

Clarke turned around after Hannah put on her shirt and sighed in relief. “Yes....thank you....I’m sorry for overreacting.” She apologized quietly, as her gaze was fixed on the floor. She was embarrassed. She completely overreacted and now the other girl would think she’s creepy and weird as hell. That’s why she doesn’t have a lot of friends, let alone a relationship. She was too weird.

‘ woah, okay. you know i’m just messing with you, right? ’ her eyes find the angles of clarke’s profile, both disconcerted and amused. ‘ i mean it. i didn’t mind you looking. ’

“I shouldn’t have stared in the first place….it’s inappropriate.” She said as she tried to calm herself down. ‘It’s inappropriate.’ Those were the words her foster father always said to her just before his hand hit. She was a curious child, but whenever she stared at something or someone, her foster father would say those words and take a hit. That’s why she was reacting so badly everytime someone called her out on her staring. “Can you just put the shirt on please?” She asked weakly.

Clarke blushed at his compliments towards her work. She wasn’t very used to compliments of any kind. “Thank you. It means a lot.” She whispered.

    emery smiled as she looked around the room. she’d somehow found herself in a frat party with a crap load of drunk college kids. there was a boy throwing up in the corner and some girl passed out on the lawn. emery then looked over to the person next to her before speaking. “this is my first american party ––– it is exactly what i expected.”

Clarke didn’t know how she found herself at a frat party, but here she was, nursing a glass of whiskey for the past 2 hours. She turned around when she heard someone speak to her. “This is your first american party? where you from?” She asked curiously. “Yeah a typical frat party.” She shrugged.

“You’re welcome.” Clarke said shyly as she handed her her shirt. “I hope it fits.” She added after a second. The blonde blushed hard when she was caught staring, and turned around. “I’m sorry.....I’m.....so sorry.” She stuttered. She was never good with being teased, especially when it came to stuff like this.

          THE DRAWING WAS TRULY MAGNIFICENT . it felt odd to think of it as such , considering it was a sketch designed to portray luis in a two - dimensional plane . the unspoken vanity of it all made him uneasy . “ have you ever considered publishing a sketchbook ?? ” he asked , curious . “ i’m sure there are many people who would love to see your passion . ”

“I don’t know......I don’t think a lot of people would wanna buy it.” She told him with a shrug. She had thought about it before, but she ultimately decided it wasn’t worth it.

A sudden influx of complements always caused her shy side to kick in HEAVILY. “Now you’re just being too kind, I don’t know if I’d say I look gorgeous at the moment, but you are the artist after all. – I’m Desirae by the way.” 

Clarke chuckled lightly at that. “I highly doubt it was just luck.” She said reassuringly, she didn’t think the other girl was bad at what she did, it was her job after all. A smile spread over the blonde’s face at her face. “I’ll definitely stop by sometime.....maybe we could go to coffee after you’ve showed me your work?” She asked hopefully, a blush forming on her face. She’s never been bold when it came to asking someone out, before. “I’ve always had a love for people in their natural state. I don’t like drawing or painting people who are all glamed up just so they want to impress me or whoever else’s attention they want. That’s why I love drawing random people in the park, cause this is usually where you meet all the runners, and people out with their dogs, just people doing casual things, looking casually.” She explained with a soft smile. “And right now? You wearing sporty clothes, messy hair, lightly sweaty? I don’t think it can get more beautiful than that.” She said softly. “That sounded a lot better in my head, I’m sorry.” She apologized, with a light chuckle. “I’m Clarke.”

“Obstetrics? That’s really cool. I am really focusing on cardio right now.” She told him with a soft smile. “Netflix is life, are you kidding?” She chuckled. She blushed again when he confirmed that it was indeed a compliment. “Thanks.”
