Elves

I know people argue that elves should have the least diversity rather than the most sub-species/races because they're so long lived. I get that, makes total sense. But, here's the thing. I always saw them as being prone to mutation like the pokemon eevee. I guess that was not the natural jump a lot of people makes, but if you're not changing lore, it could be a good explanation for some campaigns.

Somebody just dropped right in, whenever, whyever

Space cowboy's my version of this, but the general concept is someone from Sigil gets forced through a random portal that appears, as is regular in The City of Doors. They wind up where you want. You can plug in low level crime, multi-plane political intrigue involving the heir of a merchant guild, or just a hapless fellow that was in the wrong place at the wrong time and just wants to get home to his sick mum.

Welcome to Flavortown! People far and wide have been invited to partake in his Flavor Jubilee in honor of his first successful year as ruler of the land. Food and drink flow and the mood is festive. You and your compatriots have arrived in Flavor Country just in time for the festivities.

You find yourself in the principality of Garden. A green, seaside agricultural center with an heiress who’s a lot, but the the salads are to die for and the parties are fabulous.
