james potters lgbt ass from the afterlife watching the school’s heartthrob approach his son and tell him to take a hot bath in the fancy bathroom: hah i know that one
One thing which genuinely bothers me is Annabeth's perception in the fandom. How she's seen as this cold, stoic, emotionless, reserved and intimidating girl. When in reality, she's a character full of love.
Annabeth, who immediately cried and felt attached to Cerberus after playing with him for a few minutes because she wouldn't get to play with him again.
Annabeth, whose deepest desire, which the Sirens lured her with, is saving Luke and having a good relationship with both her parents.
Annabeth, who believed in Luke's goodness, even after all the countless terrible things he did simply because she had faith in his humanity.
Annabeth, who cried in Percy's arms before entering the labyrinth and refused to reveal the last line of the prophecy because it said to lose a love worse than death and the idea of losing any of her friends is too painful, heartbreaking and worse than dying.
Annabeth, who kissed Percy before parting with him in St. Helens because if he's going to die, she at least wants him to die knowing she loved him.
Annabeth, who took a poisoned knife for Percy during the war because she'd rather die herself than let him die.
Annabeth, who convinced Luke to switch sides by reminding him of the promise of family he gave her. Which in turn, influenced Luke's decision to end himself to destroy Kronos. Hello, she saved the world with the power of love.
Annabeth, who spent months after months losing sleep and searching desperately for Percy when he went missing.
Annabeth, who kissed Percy to eternity in public at their reunion, not caring what anyone is going to say or think. An asteroid could've hit the earth, and she wouldn't have cared.
Annabeth, who told Percy “I love you” when falling in Tartarus because if she was going to die, she wanted them to be her last words.
Annabeth Chase is a sweetheart, who has always felt things deeply and she's so full of love. And I think it's time we let go of the “cold-hearted annabeth” headcanon because it's not true, that's not her.
percy jackson is basically that one guy who was ugly as a kid, but then went though puberty and got super hot, but still thinks of himself as ugly
except he was never actually ugly. he’s just insecure as fuck for absolutely no reason. cause everyone else thinks he’s got the immense power and good looks of a literal greek god, and yet he’s always beating himself up for things he can’t help, being ashamed of his downfalls, can’t understand why people love him, and doesn’t realize when people hit on him becasue he doesn’t even think it’s a possibility that someone could be attracted to him
anyway i feel like annabeth knows this. and she gives him a lot of hugs. and even more kisses. because percy deserves all the hugs and kisses in the world
In the same vibe as Percy choking Akhlys, may I suggest :
Nico causing wounds to necrotize. Even from a small scratch on your finger, it spreads so fast your only hope is an amputation asap.
Jason holding the air still in your lungs. You're not dying because you don't have air, but because you can't get it out and are literally choking.
Hazel controlling stones in jewelries. Imagine getting chocked by your necklace, your finger being sectioned by your ring, being handcuffed by your bracelets, your head being crushed between your earrings...
Thalia manipulating the electricity in your body. Causing your nervous system to move in certain ways, or just shutting down your brain activity.
The big 3 are terrifying, and I wish we would've seen them (others than Percy) being more op. Cmon Rick, show us reasons the gods are afraid of them !

watching spop with the knowledge that catra and adora get together in the end is really a horror movie experience. you go in expecting a complicated and angsty but ultimately healthy romance with good pacing, but soon realize that you're watching the story of a doomed tragic hero.
every time you see catra commit another atrocity, your heart just sinks further and you feel so bad for adora. you're dreading the moment they get together and when you reach that point, it's just as horrifying as you expected. and the worst thing is, most of the fandom accepts it as a perfect ship and you feel like adora felt in the false reality, wondering if you're just going insane.
i can't keep my jason headcanons straight. he's gay. he's just a caring ally. he's bi. he developed introversion as a defense mechanism. he developed being an extrovert because it was expected of him. wolves love him. dogs hate him. he wants to care for his friends. he wants to be loved. his favourite colour is coral. he can't pick favourites at all because he's worried everything else will feel left out. he's autistic. he has never been tested for anything in his life. he's a great reader. he doesn't understand written english. he understands romance languages. romance languages infuriate him because they sound so familiar but he can't quite grasp them. he uses percy's birthday. he doesn't use a specific day at all. he wears skirts because pants aren't good with his sensory issues. he doesn't have the confidence to wear anything but standard cj clothes and armour. he's still in love with piper. he never was to begin with. he likes dad humour. he despises puns. he wants kids. he wouldn't have children because they'd likely be half two different gods. everyone loves him. he's respected but not cared for. he's rational and understands what's best for his communities. he's upset that camp jupiter didn't look for him. he's passionate about helping disrespected gods. he's exhausted and doesn't want to be pontifex anymore. he's alive in my heart. he died a long time ago.
I'm a disabled adult when I say this: Catra is an absolute ableist piece of shit and also the creator of other people's disabilities, yet fans say that we're ableists for not liking her
*sighs*
Tbh, even if Catra was actually canonically disabled (especially having BPD, autism, or whatever disability people headcanon her having), that doesn't excuse the fact that she has not only disabled others (Octavia with her missing eye and Adora's mental health decline to name two things because to actually list them all would be like writing a novel), but also used Hordak for his disability and having it be presented as a "girlboss villain moment"
Disabled characters can still be held responsible for bad deeds that they created, even if they had a valid reason to do so
If Catra was actually disabled, she'd definitely fit under the topic of "disabled characters written by an ableist person"
However, considering she isn't actually disabled, fans are too detached to actually differentiate between canon and headcanon when it comes to making these arguments
Thank you! For people saying she has bpd, you know that she can still be ablest right? She literally exploited Hordak's disability, and, I hate to sound like a broken record since I mentioned this in another post, but how is that not basically taking a wheelchair from someone with broken legs! I'd be fine if it was rightfully shown as the fucked up thing it was, but nooo she's a cool girlboss and is never held accountable for doing that! She literally permanently disfigured Octavia by scratching her eye, and why!? I seriously do not get how she's never called out for it. Same with Perfuma for putting Entrapta ON A LEASH! Or literally every character with a physical diablity being a villain. The ableism in this KID'S SHOW is astounding.
