Reading your blog I became curious about the Strike novels, because I used to love detectives stories as a kid. I got the first book for my birthday, read it in three days, then ran to the bookshop to buy the rest XD (That was heavy, even in pocket format...) I'm halfway through The Silkworm and so far I love it as much as the previous book ! It's such a pleasure to enjoy reading novels again, and now I remember how much I used to enjoy murder mysteries and I want to read more ! So I guess what I want to say is simply thank you !

Fantasy sucks as a genre 90% of the time but every creative writing graduate thinks they're the next JRR Tolkien purely because they play nerdass games like Dungeons & Dragons.
