I think I might have a potential draft for Jaks Snr's story in the Myths AU.

I'm hesitant because:

1. Half the characters in this AU have not officially appeared in the main story yet (Biska and Adonis).

2. It features a lot of non-con and explicit scenes

3. It is technically the 2nd part in the Myths AU. The 1st is meant to be about Mermaid!Melinoe and Cody

But on the other hand, I'm keen to do it because:

1. This is the first time I haven't scared myself out of writing more explicit content

2. it would be really nice to have a whole story posted for a holiday for once.

(Context for the plot: An AU that takes place during an ambitious time on Earth. All the characters that are Force Sensitive in the main story are some form of mythical beings, mermaids, faires, etc.

Jaks Snr is a selkie who has been kidnapped by a vampire (Adonis). About a year after the kidnapping a human Biska stumbled upon the house Jaks had been kept in and ended up trapped as well. The story follows them trying to work out a way to escape).

Im trying to imagine Ailani wearing clothes that aren’t shades of black, gold, red, white or brown and it’s literally impossible. She’s like a 2000s cartoon character, she has a limited color palette and it reflects her character themes okay she can’t wear anything else-

The Separatist AU is one of the smaller timelines, but it’s equally interesting.

In this AU, after Ailani leaves the Order, she joins the Separatist Union. She has completely lost faith in the Jedi and now believes the only way to peace is the Order’s removal from the Republic and the complete dismantling of the GAR. 

She refuses to work on the front lines and instead works as a political aide to Count Dooku. The two connect through their lost love for the Order and desire to create something new. To keep her faith, Dooku never tells Ailani of his involvement with Darth Sidious. Her lightsaber never changes color. She never falls into darkness. She does the same thing she did for the Council. She arranges meetings and files reports. She runs the war from an office.

And she never sees Wolffe again.

Ailani meets her fate on Mustafar at the hands of Anakin Skywalker as he kills the Separatist leaders.

I thought about having Akiko eventually gain air bending, but I feel like that kinda makes her whole arc about learning to love herself despite not being a bender invalided.

Maybe it could be a secondary arc. Like over the first part of the story she starts to learn that she's worthy despite not being a fire bender or earth bender, but then she gains airbending and its this whole thing of "I spend my whole life wanting this, but now I have it, it doesn't feel like it was worth it".

Despite having watched Korra I have some Avatar OC ideas for that era:

Focus on four teens: Akiko, Sakari, Tài and Tâm.

Akiko!

Akiko is a descendant of Zuko and Wen. She is a non-bender. She feels shame over the fact that she's the only non-bender in her family. She sets out on a journey to "prove her worth" despite her family's assurances that they think she's worthy and amazing with or without bending.

Much like her (great?) grandparents she's a bit of a grump. She's also very headstrong and acts older than she really is.

Tài and Tâm

Tài is a water-bending prodigy and Tâm is an earthbender from the Foggy Swamp region. The two of them love learning and when they met Akiko they saw a good opportunity to travel the world and learn even more (believing they learnt all they could from the Foggy Swamp).

The twins are all smiles and get excited very easily.

Sakari!

Sakari is a water bender from the Southern Water Tribe. She's the daughter of Noatak who was trained in the ways of blood bending from a young age so that Noatak could use her as a weapon when she got older. She was able to escape Noatak's grasp with help from her aunt. Sakari goes into hiding, but would eventually meet Akiko and the twins. The four of them go on a journey to find a way to prematurely remove Sakari's bending (at her continued request).

(please keep in mind Sakari's story is subject to change if I ever end up watching Korra).

Sakari is a very kind person but often feels the need to keep her emotions under wraps. Scared that if people saw "what she was really like" they'd reject her.
