The Human Future: A Case For Optimism

Extinction
Stagnation
Transcendence
Extinction is always a possibility, but humanity could survive (& potentially bounce back) if reduced from billions to millions.
Personally, I believe humanity will expand to the Moon in the near future, & Mars by the end of the century, & the moons of Ganymede & Callisto (orbiting Jupiter), as well as Titan (who orbits Saturn).
As far as large space stations go, I am skeptical of them ever being built due to the economics & competing real estate of terrestrial planets, dwarf planets & moons (as terrestrial worlds will be easier to build upon).

A good reminder from scripture that no matter how intelligent, strong or rich you become, that ultimately these things will never please the Almighty. Rather being loving towards others, exercising proper judgment & striving to be righteous are what counts.

It would be cool to witness human settlements on Saturn’s 🪐 moon Titan, but humanity is no where near close enough to reach the moon.
Earth’s 🌍 Moon 🌖 is closer & easier to reach, so it will inevitably become the first world humanity builds outposts upon.
But travel distance aside, Titan would be the best place to live after Earth 🌍.
