ok hear me out. DND character idea.

A warforged paladin made from a hollow set of Space Marine armor. That fell into the world via some kind of dimensional warp or some tear in the fabric of space time type shit.

think about it. this machine, really a suit of armor given sentience; that previously knew nothing but war. That was torn from a universe reduced to nothing but war, suddenly in a party of other misfits going on adventures. Sure there’s plenty of monsters to fight, but now there’s ✨other things✨ it can do. Tending to an injured party member’s wounds. Talking with locals at a tavern. Taking a peek at wildlife from a safe distance. Solving a puzzle in an ancient temple. do you see the vision.

Is this just my excuse to think of a Space Marine character without learning the Warhammer lore because holy fucking shit there’s so much???? yes. At least I have a basic grasp on how DND works. I don’t care if this is potentially illegal by game standards, i still know very little, but once I somehow get into a dnd group I will make this real. I want my 8 foot space robot that learns about the existence of nice things.
