okay so like. there's this stoic archer guy, and he's training someone because there are people after them. but then. he's shot with a blowdart, falls unconcious, and plunges into a river. trainee manages to rescue him and he wakes up in a cave or cottage or something. she's taking care of him. after he recovers, she notices that he's acting out of sorts. he's slower, his aim is off, he's less aware of the surroundings. she's concerned, but tries to brush it off. he's probably just tired, right? later, one day, they're hiding out when he sneezes. that's when it clicks.
