Once, Edward kenway took down an entire man o’ war just to get a new cook. Events described in the first chapter of the AC Blackflag book explain how Edward accidentally killed the cook of his ship, and instead of letting his crew fend for themselves (no one knew how to boil water) he decided to forcibly get a new cook. During the fight on the man o’ war, he cut a man’s nose off. Later on in the chapter it is revealed that that person..was the cook. So now the Jackdaw has a nose-less cook

One of connor’s kids, Io:nhiote is one of the few known people who has eagle sight. This was found out while connor and her were hunting and connor ran off to go get some water for her ankle, and she heard a wolf’s howl, panicked, and looked through the eyes of an eagle to try and warm her dad that there was danger nearby.

Elise was always really jealous of Arno because Francois always preferred Arno as he was the son of the family (although he was adopted), so after her mother died, Elise was left in the care of the maids and never saw her father or Arno other than when the two of them were training together out in the fields

While Connor was being hanged, the assassins were not able to reach him in time to cut the rope, but Haytham was in the crowd watching the spectacle and when he realized the assassins were out of time, he cut the rope himself from the crowd.

The templar necklace that Elise has was a gift from haythams older sister Jennifer. Jennifer received it in one of the many letters haytham sent her, and while Elise was meeting with Jennifer, she gave the necklace to Elise as a gift.
