[ID: Screenshots of two tweets. The first one is by Dolly Parton and it says "I was so excited when someone told me that Lil Nas X had done my song #Jolene. I had to find it and listen to it immediately…and it's really good. Of course, I love him anyway. I was surprised and I'm honored and flattered. I hope he does good for both of us. Thank you @LilNasX". The second tweet is Lil Nas X responding to the Dolly Parton tweet by simply saying "HOLY SHIT" in all caps. End of ID.]
I'm so glad that y'all are so into Monkey Man and the badass hijra priestess army, but friendly reminder that hijra are NOT trans women. Hijra are their own distinct gender; trans women are women. India has both :)
My toxic trait is that I get genuinely mad when people makes fun of another accents even if no one else gets mad like latinos mocking spanish from spain and all mocking chilean, brazilians not getting portugal portuguese, francophones imitating quebecois, french ppl saying regional accents sound exotic, catalonians saying the french "r" of the north make it difficult to understand. i turn into the hulk. no, grown up, i will rip your jugular.
This is fake news I hate macron and french colonialism as much as the next person but you think the President of France can just say that? Macron wants to pay lip service to decolonization (called Algeria repression a "war crime") for the first time while intending to keep economic neocolonialism in place. With Haiti and recently New Caledonia how dumb you think French people are?
It is like the time tumblr thought Argentina revoked nationality to all Israeli nationals. Because international right is apparently not a thing and every other country is the Far West. Like people on this site really think other countries are fake and would believe if someone publisehd that idk Ecuador installed a Purge day or China the Hunger Games.
I'm sorry what the fuck did you just say ???
This has to be fake.
I see people saying that lovecrafian horrors were only horrors because of how Lovecraft was and that they would embrace and not be afraid of the unknown etc but like I've seen people reactions to unknown food and bugs idk how we all would fare in front of unknown shapes and old ones ngl

thinking on how a colleague was a bit impressed i can used (very badly) chopsticks with my left hand and my other colleague said she has noticed i use both hands
and I am only kinda able to do so because my mom trained me making me pick stuff and use the other hands as she is a natural ambidextrous , like she just always knew how to use her two hands to grab stuff and write and as a littl girl saw other people and was like "what is the problem with these one handed losers" and made me do little exercizes so i wouldnt be that kind of loser
