5 Tips That Will Instantly Make You a Football Expert
#1 TIP
Do not indulge in something because of your friends, do it only if you have a genuine interest. I used to play football all the time and loved it and that's why I decided to dip my hands into the depths of its knowledge. If you don't have that kind of a connection with football or anything, then find your niche and pursue it further.
#2 TIP
Pick a team that you relate to even if that means you must choose your minor league team. Do not try to pick a team because your friends support it. It's not necessary to choose a successful team. If the quality of football soothes your inner soul then that's your team, my friend. This can take a lot of time. It took me six months until I finally found my team. So, don't worry and keep searching until your heart tells you otherwise.
#3 TIP
Once you find your team never think about switching. It's almost criminal to even consider the possibility. Yes, there's going to be a lot of pain. But trust me nothing feels better than watching your team beat a hated rival or win a trophy. It feels even better when you've been riding the lows and things start to look bright for the team. That's what being a real fan is all about, stick with the team through highs and lows and keep cheering them on.
#4 TIP
Always stay ahead of the game. Once you find your team and start to watch games, always check out analyst and expert shows. They teach you a lot about your team. They might not spend more than five minutes talking about it. But their analysis would elevate your knowledge even more. Also, keep checking the latest news on your club. Indulge yourself completely into the club. Try and learn about its history and players who played for it in the past. Re-watch matches if possible and relive past glory. Don't leave any stone unturned.
#5 TIP
Follow the social media accounts of your club and Youtube channels that provide genuine football content ( Like B/R Football or 433 ). You may also follow accounts of other teams but getting caught up with important news is vital. Teams announce rescheduling, postponement, and other important information through their social media accounts.

Why Is Coronavirus Not a Bane To Society?
How many more days do we spend drinking whipped coffee and showing off our baby pictures? To a certain extent, I do agree that staying in isolation wasn't such a bad idea. I mean what else does one do when there's a mad virus taking lives? Believe it or not the "work from home" concept has helped our environment heal itself.
Tumblr media
What does this say to us all? We are the problem. It's not only the billion-dollar deforestation projects. It boils down to one simple fact. Our planet would have been much better off without us and that says a lot for me. Yes, The cries of "that U.N girl" and other environmentalists are finally making sense. Yes, people are dying and that is heartbreaking. But imagine the numbers when talking about a hurricane that wipes New York off the map. We're talking billions of people and that is no joke.
COVID-19 is by no means a boon to society. The fatality can be reduced by following simple procedures advised by doctors. I understand that staying at home is boring and frustrating. But it's our duty because humanity rests on it.
Let's think out of the box here. What if we implemented this quarantine system every year? What if we were all to stay at home for a month to help heal nature? I doubt anyone would question that considering that this method is clearly working. These are tough times people and let's all stop moaning for a moment and take a look outside our windows. Listen to the birds chirping and the sun smiling upon us. Don't we want this every day?

Reasons To Like & Dislike 13RW [THE BOOK]
For the ones who don't know what the hype is about, let me put it out there for you. Thirteen Reasons Why is about a girl called Hannah Baker who commits suicide. Before she does that, she records thirteen tapes in which she narrates her reasons for the suicide. Each tape is about a person or an incident that made her want to end her life. The tapes arrive at the doorsteps of Clay Jensen, who plays the main protagonist of the book. The book surrounds itself around Clay listening to these tapes and reacting to them.
Tumblr media
Jay Asher alternates the book between the words of Hannah Baker and the life of Clay Jensen. Initially, it gets a bit confusing. But once you get the hang of it, you don't want this Roller-Coaster to end. If you've watched the show before then you wouldn't enjoy the book as much. I say this because the show is a bit more sophisticated and abstract.
The element I most liked about the book was not just the concept, but the fact that the book is more absolute than we think. It talks about real-life circumstances teenagers face. It also hints at subtle references about alcohol abuse, depression, and even rape. As a first-timer into the world of Clay Jensen, this is a solid read. I would say that the entire idea of the tapes and the story is simply genius.
It's a wonderful book. But there are certain aspects of the book that the author could've improved. For instance, the book has an atom of boredom to it. Because the whole book is based on Clay listening to the tapes and not much happens around him. Yes, he sips on some coffee and bumps into a few people but it needed more. It's only about Hannah talking through these tapes. And This was a bit disappointing for me.

What Football Wants VS What It Needs
When people talk about the best from the rest, one name surely pops into the head. Trent-Alexander-Arnold. The Twenty-year-old Liverpool Right-Back has become a revelation in the past few seasons. A bullet right foot and supreme skill to pick the right pass. Many would say that he is some sort of a prodigy when it comes to his maturity on the pitch.
Tumblr media
He is a Liverpool boy, tried and tested in the academy and has now become a global superstar.  Trent is yet to unlock his full potential. For someone who's nowhere near his prime to produce such marvelous results is mind-blowing. But there is still one element in this tale that we are yet to talk about.
In comes the Forty-Five Million Pound Manchester United right-back; Aaron Wan-Bissaka. He for most parts is nothing like Trent. If you're wondering what I'm on about, how about this for a stat attack. He has only had Two assists in 34 matches and a total of four assists last season. This guy is the complete opposite of a modern full-back. So why exactly did United spend so much money on someone who doesn’t contribute in the attacking sense?
Aaron is one of the best one-on-one defenders in the Premier League. Nothing gets past him. This season He has already had 99 tackles, 53 interceptions, 145 recoveries, 175 duels won. The bottom line is that Wan-Bissaka is a serious defender.
The modern game almost demands an attacking-minded full-back. But why not go unorthodox? why not have an impenetrable full-back like Aaron-Wan Bissaka in your ranks? Something to surely think about.

The Next Big Thing In Success
Let’s talk about the Moneyball theory. This system uses statistics and data analysis to buy and sell players. Using Moneyball, teams buy players that are undervalued and sell overvalued assets.
Tumblr media
Take Liverpool for instance. They spent a combined £328,000,000 on their starting eleven. Out of which £143,000,000 was spent on two players ( Alisson Becker and Virgil Van Dijk ). This indicates that they spent 43% of the total team valuation on two players.
Transfermarkt evaluates the current Liverpool eleven to be just shy of a Billion Euros (€967,000,000 to be precise). This tells us how far this approach can work, provided it's used well.
Another aspect of this theory is not only buying undervalued players. But is also to sell overvalued and unproductive players. Phillipe Coutinho is a typical example of an overvalued player. Paying upwards of a hundred million for someone who’s best season only included 13 goals wasn’t very smart business. Liverpool didn’t mind the cash at all. They kindly obliged and spent the money sensibly.
I’m not trying to say that Liverpool aren’t spending money. But they have managed to spend smart and spend right. Selling overvalued assets for humongous chunks and acquiring players for the right cost. This has been the true accomplishment of the Liverpool board.
The executives of clubs like City and United must surely take a look at the model Liverpool has created. The ban imposed onto City ought to make other clubs think about their own business models. The Moneyball concept has been renovated many times. But if clubs want to really survive then this is a theory to consider.
