Pikatti

A ploth model who was initially a friend with benefits of Elliot.

They’re 37, bisexual, and non-binary (they/she).

They got into a committed relationship with both Griswalda and Elliot a bit after Grimmshaw turned 1.

They’re flirty, a bit sassy, jokes around a bit, but have trouble with being true to their feelings.

They were initially against being in a relationship due to fear of commitment and being pegged down to one place. Griswalda and Elliot understood their need to travel, do modelling, and other things of the sort, but let her know she was loved and always had somewhere to come back to. They never had that before, so it meant a lot to them.

They usually don’t like kids much, but adores all of Griswalda and Elliot’s kids. The kids call them ren/renny.

They’re usually very picky with outfits, but they always wear the scarf Griswalda knitted them if it’s cold, regardless of if it doesn’t match the outfit.

Now a bit about these ladies.

King Mottiphim(s)

This subspecies of Mottiphims don’t have a set location where they’ll live.

They usually live amongst common bug aliens or other aliens.

They’re the most social out of all subspecies, commonly befriending, dating, and even starting families with them.

Their downside is that they have a self-sacrificing ritual in which they

Find caretakers for their kids.

Said caretakers would have to fight or dance with the parent.

Should they be able to defeat or be on par with the parent, they would give up their physical form in wisps to feed the child, thus continuing the cycle and passing on the torch to them.

This ritual is done to power one of the two original Mottiphims, Grizzriel should he have to face his sister, Ruhiel, in battle again.

It also powers his heart that ultimately became a home for all his children/descendants in the afterlife within the Reverie Dimension.

The ritual can only take place within the first year of the child’s life, so after that it’s considered a failure and they must try again with another child.

Said cycle was recently broken by the current Grizzriel’s five children who proved that it was possible to sustain Grizzriel the first and his heart without such loss and heartache of losing a parent.

They are also known to make troupes and do performances as a means to come off as normal (at least in a weird sense).

The little helpers they make are called Mottlings and they function in a way similar to Felicilings

They collect/track wisps.

They help their Mottis with whatever task they may need.

They’re also companions of some sort.

Grimmhilda

She’s the eldest of Grizzriel’s children.

She’s 25, a lesbian, and a lady.

Her ritual was failed because her adoptive moms thought Grizzriel was a part of a weird cult and they wanted no part of it.

She grew up in difficult times, dealing with racism and religious fanatics, but she still had both of her moms who loved her a lot.

She comes off as cruel, intimidating, and just generally imposing. In reality she’s sassy, a bit snarky, but caring and considerate to her loved ones.

She would do literally anything to protect her troupe and her family and isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty to protect them.

She does have a bit of a temper which at times is very dangerous to those around her. She’s a lot better at controlling it, though, and tends to leave is she’s getting to that point.

Mig

She‘s a tiny wife, mom, and chef!

She’s 25, a lesbian, and a lady.

She’s a Siphini.

She and Hilda met during speed-dating and Hilda didn’t notice her at first since she was so small. They really hit it off and soon became a couple.

She’s good at communicating with her wife and they have a great mutual love and respect for each other.

She likes to cook for others, but often forgets how much smaller she is and makes tiny portions. Sometimes Hilda morphs into a Siphini to better enjoy her cooking.

Mmilde

She is Grimmhilda and Mig’s beloved daughter.

She’s a couple of months old or 4-5 years old depending on how old I feel like drawing her.

She’s a cheerful, feisty, energetic, and curious.

She grew up in a very loving home, with her moms and all the Troupe members too.

She loves dance, but also wants to do trapeze like her aunts!

I’ve been slowly converting some fan characters to fit in the Chenoros Cosmos. I’ll talk about these guys here.

Mottiphim(s)

A subspecies of Holiphim(s).

This subspecies have 5 main sub-subspecies: King, Tropical, Aquatic, Tundra, and Desert.

The family here is the Tundra subspecies.

These types of Holiphims liked the bug aliens across the cosmos so much, they started mimicking bug-like appearances and mannerisms.

They focus on collecting/eating wisps, putting souls to rest/sending them to Reverie Dimension, and more or less keeping levels of paranormal activity down on planets.

Like any other Holiphim, they have nothing that discerns male from female, so they tend to start out with an androgynous look. As they get older, they choose to present in a way they feel represents their gender identity if at all.

They also have a dialect of Phimish (Holiphim language) called Mottkesh.

Tundra Mottiphim(s)

A subspecies that usually lives in cold and/or mountainous areas.

Common planets they’re found on are Desolénia and Planet Plorfus

They’re fattest and the fluffiest of out all of Mottiphims

The fat and fur is to keep them warm

They’re also the most physically strong too

Their strength is for hunting and being able to travel for long times especially through storms

They are the other Mottiphims affected most by hunters, although luckily all the hunters on Desolénia have been eradicated and they’re very slowing growing in numbers

A Tundra Motti tradition is to make a lullaby for your newborn child.

Now a bit about their characters.

Griswalda

She was once the only living Mottiphim on Desolénia.

She’s 37, asexual, and a lady.

She comes off as cold, imposing, and speaks somewhat harshly, but in reality she’s just shy, cautious, and distrustful of strangers. This is due to traumatic experiences both in childhood and adulthood.

She has a fear of crowds, harpoons, and being followed/tracked. Her fear of crowds is somewhat getting better though.

Towards those she knows and trusts, she’s very loving, understanding, protective, and helpful. She loves her husband and kids very much.She loves her partner, Pikatti too.

She lived in the wilds of Bonalinet for most of her life, not really being around other people, hence her antisocial behaviour and gruff way of talking.

Her hobbies include painting, knitting, photography, reading, watching tv, and listening to the radio.

Even though she isn’t forced to live in the wild anymore, she still hunts for her family so they don’t have to waste money on meat. The adults appreciate being able to save money that.

Elliot

He’s a diving Coleosqueak who sculpts and fishes.

He’s 36, bisexual, and a man.

He ending up befriending, falling in love with, and eventually marrying Griswalda after she saved him from dying twice.

He’s a gentle and sensitive soul, tends to believe the best in people to a fault. This kindness has been taken advantage of unfortunately, but he’s a lot better at standing his own ground now.

He loves his wife, his kids, his partner, and pretty much just his life right now.

Despite his somewhat coddled upbringing (courtesy of his mother), he’s very open-minded and curious about other cultures, including the otherworldly and magical things that occur while in a relationship with Griswalda.

He does his best to support his kids and wife in anyway he can.

His hobbies include sculpting (which is also a job sometimes), cooking, keeping journals, and a little bit of botany.

Gridley

He’s a kind blind Motti boy. Grier’s his twin.

He was raised by Pol and Johnny, two young adults who accidentally got wrapped into Griswalda’s crazy life.

He’s 10 and a boy.

Being blind and in a tundra on Desolénia made getting accessible things difficult, but that certainly didn’t stop Pol from trying. Gridley has access to canes, braille, and some audio related assistance tools in their home.

His family is also very patient and helpful, but never try to overstep boundaries by doing everything for him and/or dragging him around.

His hobbies include listening to stories, music, tv, or the radio, reading, and singing.

He dislikes strangers touching him or his cane, feeling his sister being upset, getting lost, and people fiddling with his radio.

Grier

She’s a rough and tumble Motti girl. Gridley’s her twin.

She was raised by Pol and Johnny, two young adults who accidentally got wrapped into Griswalda’s crazy life.

She’s 10, a lesbian, and a girl.

She used to drag Gridley around up until he got kidnapped and eventually learned some skills to help himself navigate the world. She’s still protective of her brother and has no issue clocking someone out for wrong him.

She’s trans. Pol, having gone through gender identity issues themself, helped her transition while she was young. While it was just a change of names and pronouns, being a Mottiphim, she could also change her presentation at will (albeit unknowingly at the time).

She likes wrestling with her brother, wrestling in general, animals, and biology.

She dislike baths, getting into trouble for fighting, and seeing/feeling her brother upset.

She snuck a snow Sluppy into their home and convinced her parents to let her keep it. She named her Frosty.

Grimmshaw Jr

They’re Griswalda and Elliot’s timid, mixed Motti kid.

They’re timid, sweet, and very cuddly as a baby.

They almost always carry around a stuffed Motti toy Griswalda made for them.

They’re quite easily startled and don’t like pranks or the vacuum.

Some of their Motti traits bloomed later due to being mixed. Fire and ice magic is the main thing they got later.

They like cuddling with their family, being held, being fed, their Motti plushie, and watching their parents do art.

They dislike loud noises, the vacuum, being picked on, and being away from their parents for too long.

Dusts this blog off

I’m gonna try to get back into this blog. Getting into Hollow Knight made me sprout new ideas for characters, stories, and the works.  I’m probably gonna clear out most of my ask box for new stuff! Sorry about not answering all those questions, but I’ll be open for new ones! I will answer some of them.

I’ll be making another post with all the updates!
