(A/N: HEY EVERYBODY I'M VERY SORRY FOR NOT POSTING ENOUGH. SCHOOL JUST REALLY KICKING MY BUTT. THANKS FOR THIS ASK BTW, I REALLY LOVE THIS.)

The Legends was on a mission in Star City, 2018 and in true Legends fashion everything started spiraling down.

While every single one of them was getting their butts kicked by Caribbean Pirates that was displaced in 2018, a girl riding a motorcycle swooped in and helped them defeat the displaced Pirates.

Because of the energy lost from fighting so many Pirates they forgot about the girl, so when they were getting ready to go back to the Waverider, Sara thinking of a way to explain to Ava how everything did not as planned, they all jumped, surprised by the girl's voice not realizing that they just revealed the ship to a human being.

"Woah, you guys have an invisible ship?"

They all jumped, surprised. Most of them, Ray and Nate in particular, was now stuttering trying to think of a way to excuse the huge ship behind them.

The girl, no doubt, looked like a model while taking off her helmet. All of their jaw dropped, not ready to see the face of the girl.

When they finally saw the face, Sara's eyes grew in realization.

"Wow, she's hot." She heard someone say, not paying attention due to the girl in front of her.

"She's not hot. She's Y/N." The girl just gave Sara a sheepish smile and small wave in response.

"Sara! I missed you this week." A little girl by the age of 8 was now clinging onto the leges of an 18 year old Sara.

Sara gave Y/N a small smile and crousched down to reach her height.

"Hey babygirl, I missed you too. I've just been busy with school, that's all. How about you? How are you?"

"I'm good! Mom bought me ice cream this week. And George pulled Sam's ponytail and I defended her 'cause that's what friends do for each other. "

"You're right."

"Are we friends Sara?"

"Of course we are!"

"Then I promise to protect you until I die." Baby Y/N gave Sara a big and wide smile and Sara's heart melted at the gesture.

"What are you doing here? Why are you even doing this? Do you know how dangerous this job is? Do you really don't listen to me?" Sara was mad. The last time she caught Y/N doing this it was because Oliver called her and said that she was currently in the hospital. She had scolded the girl multiple times, telling her that this is not the right job for her.

"I'm just helping you and you're team. You're my friend and that means I'll protect you 'till I die." Y/N was now leaning on the wall, feeling like a child being scolded in front of Sara' s teammates.

"Yeah, but that doesn't you'll die trying to protect me! I can do that myself." Sara calmed herself down. A part of her actually glad that Y/N intervened.

"Look kid, go home. Stop doi-"

"You know I can't do that."

"Just go home kid."

"How about I join you? Sara's eyes bulged from its sockets

"What? No, definitely a big no."

"Come on Sara, please." Y/N really wanted an adventure. She didn't want to be a normal girl, she wanted fun and adrenaline. She wanted time travel.

“For the last time, No.”

“Sara. Just let her stay for a few days.” A girl with brown hair said.

Sara just groaned and put her head in her hands. She muttered something about being ‘the captain’ and how her ‘own team was ganging up on her’.

“Fine, but two weeks only, after that you go home and find a job that is not this dangerous.” Sara pointed at Y/N, clearly serious about her words.

“Yes! Thank you.”

After the first few days, Sara can’t help but admit that she was glad the young girl was here and not in Star City where she can’t look after her. Ava often teased her about it. Saying that she liked Y/N being here or saying things like Sara’s gonna break up with her to be with Y/N but of course that was immediately dismissed by Sara.

Sara also noticed that Y/N took a particular liking to Zari and Nate. More so the former than the latter. Sara can also see the adoration Zari has for Y/N.

Y/N stayed after two weeks and it was the best decision she has ever made. During this journey she found her soulmate and reconnected with an old friend.
