He was very much spoiled by his mother who was twisted and treated him more like a precious pet but the person he really wanted to love him, his older brother showed him nothing but hate even blinding him with bleach when he was young. Despite this axis still loved his brother relishing the small affection he did get and his version of love became twisted he sees the people he love as deities something to be worshipped and praised.

He would be broken! He can’t stand to be alone, he hates when the people he loves are upset with him. He would drop to his knees begging for them to just tell him what it will take to make it all better depending on how well they behaved before this he is willing to bend some rules

In the worst case scenario he would have his darling locked away in prison or given the death penalty as a form of a final punishment for rejecting the life he was trying to give them.

Axis worships the ground his darling walks on and the air they breathe, his heart and soul belongs to them. He would do anything for his darling to get them to stay at his side, he will happily be their personal slave. He will make so many works for his darling as a way to show his love

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

He immediately goes crazy when he sees his darling struck by an intense love and lust so it doesn’t take him long maybe about a week before he has to kidnaps his darling

So Not everyone in town is a yandere but those who are have him to blame

Has worked with a certain organization to produce a virus that turn someone’s love and desire into obsession.

This virus spreads through both genes and via drugs though he’s currently working on making it airborne somehow

That being said he is always there to greet anyone who moves in or any new guests staying in the inn with a cheerful smile

So let’s talk about the hunt

At the start of august the town gets shut down no one in or out during the entire month so anyone who ere to visit and not leave before august 1st would be stuck there til the month ends

Hunters must register before the hunt begins in order to participate anyone hunting without registering will be punished

Hunters(or anyone really) can sign other people up for the role of prey without their knowledge normally

All it takes is their first and last name, address is optional info but it’s okay cause ambrose will find them either way✨

All prey will be snatched out their homes and dumped deep into the forest

For the entire month they are hunted most of them don’t make it out the forest but to the few that do make it back into town find that the mayor has laid out traps

The ones that make it out the forest risk becoming the mayor’s prey and they usually don’t last very long

After the hunt is over all those who are captured are deemed their hunter’s property so if they were to try and go to the cops it would be the same as being a item all they can do is bring the prey back to their owner..

Anyone who enters town finds it hard to leave

Anyone who wants to leave has to have a meeting with ambrose first

He wipes their memories and sends them on their way

He wiped aloootttt of memories over the years

It’s either that or making them disappear

As far as the gangs go in town he lets them do what they desire as long as they fall into line when he needs them to

People deem him a lazy leader who slacks off but he is amazing at manipulating others

Has made lots of underhanded deals that shaped the town and people in it

Like getting a shipment of drugs that causes people to have violent and murderous tendencies to spread around town ten years ago👀

Decided to do some world building lol

Context needed for this fic: non yandere intro

Warning this contains: mention of a hunt, mention of yandere behavior, a bit of tense atmosphere

“So the mayor is spending the night at our house” taro mumbled out sleepily as he poured himself coffee. Jackson gasped dropping the dish he had in his hand while staring at taro with fear and shock, body shaking.

“T-the mayor? L-like our town mayor? Why would he be spending the night?” Jackson mumbled out eyes prickled with tears as raven cleaned up the glass on the floor and altor was calming him down by pulling him into his lap and rubbing his back.

“Yeah, why is that monster coming to our house?” Altor said softly with a scoff, Sage who by now was more focused on eating shot taro a sharp glare. “You aren’t in love with them right?” She asked out with a worried tone.

Taro expected questions though not so fast, he took a sip of the black coffee “well he was going to take me out to dinner to discuss work and a new case he personally wants me to take but I told him I had plans to spend time with my partners and he invited himself to spending the night. Said it was payment for us not taking any part in any town events like the pride festival or the annual hunt” taro explained in a full tone, staring into his mug.

Taro knew this town was sick, him and his partners were one of the few that weren’t infected. An illness that could be spread through genes or can be given via a drug that taro couldn’t pinpoint where they came from, an illness that made someone so obsessed with another that it would make even the purest person commit a blood bath.

“Well if it’s for one night..should be okay, but we should keep an eye on him” raven mumbled out with a scoff “let’s just be careful, I don’t trust them” raven said and with that the discussion was done, they had almost forgotten the conversation.

When a doorbell interrupted them just as Sage and altor were setting the table for dinner. When raven opened the door he felt his blood go cold at the sight of the mayor infront of him, bright smile widening as they tilted their head to the side with a hushed humming noise.

The mayor looked young late 20s early 30s despite this no one not even the elders could remember a time where he wasn’t mayor. Rumors of him selling his soul to the devil to become immortal or him being some vampire became popular in town, he was tall being maybe 6’4 which only made his smile more intimidating. The male had dark skin that looked almost like it glowed, then again when one was in the spotlight it would be natural that they took care of themselves, his hair was in a messy ponytail with bangs falling over his face a bit, the messy hair being dyed in a ombré style with most of the bright red being in his hangs while the top of his hair was more of a dark crimson.

What unnerved raven the most were his eyes, or lack there of. He had eyes of course but they gave the impression that they were constantly closed, his smile only causing his eyes to squint more making it impossible to see his eye color, to see what his eyes were hiding. Raven only caught his eye color once and it was a time where rage over took him causing his eyes to widen, but raven couldn’t remember for the life of him what that color was.

“Raven! It’s nice to see you again!”

“M-mr. Mayor, come in..” raven stammered out as the male stepped inside. “Please, call me ambrose” he said softly as he noticed altor glaring at him while Jackson hid behind Sage who was much short than he was. “Goodness you would think I’m the devil or something! Relax i come bearing gifts!” He chimed out holding up the expensive looking gift bag “I brought wine for us to drink, I don’t get out of my office too often so this is honestly much needed” ambrose said with a giddy giggle

“Weren’t you seen at the inn like just week?” Sage barked out causing altor to elbow her with a warning glare “save manners..” he hissed making ambrose turn his head away a hand over his mouth shoulders shivering from laughter.

“No no it’s fine! That was more of a business meeting I was simply scoping the place out to see if..”he trailed off shaking his head “I shouldn’t spoil the surprise! Dinner smells really good! Shall we begin?” He cooed out.

To say that dinner was awkward was an understatement, the group who would normally be loud and bombastic were deathly mute, the vibe was tense and Ambrose caught that. “To think my ace detective and his lovers would despise me this much, what a shame” he mumbled out with a sigh twirling his fork to collect the spaghetti they were eating.

“No no no! It’s not that I just, well..we don’t get to see you often that’s all! I mean the events you hold are pretty brutal and we could never take-ow!” Jackson flinched when he felt a kick to his leg. Sage cleared her throat “what my partner meant to say was we don’t really hang around town y’know? With the hunt coming soon we are a little tense” she said with a nervous grin.

“Oh? Well I suppose I understand! Hopefully you all haven’t caught anyone’s eye enough to become a target. Though, altor..a smart man like you would be almost too delicious to turn down hunting for, and Sage..a strong girl like you? Who wouldn’t want to be at your mercy you have the makings of a hunter my dear” the way he spoke was enough to send shivers down anyone’s spine.

“W-we aren’t like that..loving someone so much you would kill for them, I can’t even imagine taking a life..it’s so terrible. I-I find all life valuable, so taking one..feels dirty” Jackson chimed in and the silence that took over made the group realize that his response surprised Ambrose who dropped his fork now clasping his hands together resting his chin on where his fingers intertwined eyes wider than normal showing off his aqua colored eyes that sparkles with curiosity.

“Is that so? How interesting~ you all really are interesting.” He said softly with a soft chuckle that didn’t sound condescending like the others did but instead one resembling a child having fun. “Taro, I want to promote you to chief if you would accept it” Ambrose said softly his response making taro flinch now tensing up “excuse me? But why? I’m just a detective, to make me chief especially with how young I am is just-”

“I believe in you. Is that now enough? If you were chief that would give you special access to closed case information, as well as the ability to assign your own tasks force for whatever you want..even cases that are ten years old and involving a house fire perhaps?” Ambrose said softly knowing he got taro right where he wanted him.

Before taro could respond altor stood up slamming his hands on the table “what’s your game here? You wouldn’t just let someone have that much power.” He said sharply his response making the male in question sigh “you caught me..boo-hoo” he pouted before smiling brightly once more. “I have one single condition. You all must attend the two events I hold every year for our lovely town of kalopsia at least once, I expect to see all of you at pride and as far as the hunt that’s happening soon..” Ambrose paused his talking to stand up now leaning in close to altor who glared at him only to falter when he saw bright aqua eyes staring into his brown ones.

“There are five of you, I expect three of you to be prey and the other two as hunters..don’t care who but please submit your forms to town hall by next week.” He whispers lowly before reaching out and cupping altor’s cheek “I would hate to have to choose for you all, cause if it was up to me…that one right there would be my pick for one of the prey and I know the other hunters would gobble him up like a sweet treat” He said in a low yet dangerous tone as he glanced at Jackson who was shaking and in tears.

Altor felt his anger rise but before he can act on it Ambrose let out a gasp “oh no! I forgot I do have something important to do! Well I’ll let you all think about our little deal, i will have to take a rain check on our slumber party!” He chimed out as he walked towards the door

“Taro, I want you to really think about what’s at stake here. You all know where to find me if you need anything, let’s play again soon~” and just like that the male was gone leaving the intense air to stay.

None of them went to sleep that night, too scared and stressed to sleep. Taro had a tough call to make, he knew it was selfish of him to take that deal but the current chief wasn’t giving him all the info he needed for his sister’s case, taro would die for that information…would kill for it.

I giggled while writing this beta theo is a normal theo’s nightmare

The area below that was supposed to be filled with water was dry only having puddles, from how big the empty area it seemed to be some kind of hot spring though it struck you as odd since it looked like someone came and dried it up on purpose. You were so focused on the dried up waterfall that you didn’t notice the source of the sound until the sound of shifting made you turn to it only to gasp at the sight.
