Since I started my first semester of college in august I haven’t plaid sims once or really been on here 😭 going back at 27 has been hard but also very rewarding. I definitely wouldn’t have enjoyed and appreciated college the way I do now, if I had gone after high school. But being around again had been good for my soul ♥️ especially my theater classes, those are my people!

Ok so some non-sims homophobic future in law rant post here really just to vent...
my fiancée is going to be a bridesmaid in her mother's wedding. Ever since we've gotten engaged, her mom has been less involved in my partner's life... her daughter's life. And she has been saying it will get better after her wedding is over (3 weeks). But she asked her if we wouldn't be overly affectionate at her wedding...
Like I just can't believe people sometimes. She says just like no making out and stuff.... We know she's not going to her other guest and saying this shit. (Which she then said she asked her son the same thing, not to be grabbing his wife's butt or anything) But she literally asked us not to be overly affectionate. So it's bc were gay... cool. Totally can't wait for this wedding.

Fill out the survey on the original Post Plus post (be polite, don’t spam, but GET YOUR POINT ACROSS that we don’t want this). Since we mean business, it’s time to hit them where it hurts; Ad Revenue.
We’re proposing a 24 hour log off as the main event of phase one.
WHEN IS THE PROTEST?
The protest starts by logging off on August 6th, 2021 at 12am Eastern Time (US). Here’s a quick chart to help figure out when you log out.

WHY IS POST PLUS/POST+ SO BAD?
Tumblr’s primary focus is on FAN content (whether any of us want to admit it or not). Putting these kinds of contents behind patreon like paywalls is a terrible idea and the legality is NOT in the user or their subscribers favor. You can absolutely get in legal trouble for what tumblr is proposing with this new feature. There’s also the worry about the site’s (poor) security and access to Post Plus users bank information. Do you really want a site that lacks a functioning search function and whose userbase routinely get hacked to have your credit card information? No, you really don’t.
WILL THIS WORK?
Maybe, maybe not. It’s an attempt at doing something to combat tumblr’s impending self-inflicted demise.

hey!! y'all! can we talk about how we're getting an explicitly Romantic Harlivy comic that's been written by a black, queer, autistic woman?? Like we've been begging for years for DC to let them to be written by an LGBT person and now we're getting exactly that and I'm not seeing anyone talk about it
this is her!!! ❤️ She's the one who's writing the Eat, Bang, Kill Tour comic
and she's been vocal on her Twitter and in interviews about the issue with ableist language in comics and how that won't be an issue in this one
