i like to think, like most teenagers, mike probably said 'my dad's gonna kill me' a lot when he got himself into trouble. Like he knew at worst he'd be grounded for a month. But I think during that first second of when his father looked at him with his brother's blood matting his hair and dripping down his face he actually believed that his father would kill him.
