High key annoyed that it's 2024 and 20+ year old Sims directors are making Sims series with adult Sims in relationships abuse with teenage Sims. People can roll their eyes at this post and at me and say "well, it's not real!"- yes Sims is fake but people romanticizing statutory rape is pretty gross, TBH (and I don't want them following me). Fetishizing trauma isn't dealing with it.

Maxis-Match Basegame Underwear Default Replacements for AF

These are edits of Anna’s basegame underwear defaults for AF, using textures from some of her custom options. They replace afbodyunderwear.

The “whiteunderwear” (aka “granny”) set is unchanged from Anna’s version (the underwear is slightly lowered from the default), the rose, cream, and black “underthings” now have bras instead of tanks (with Anna’s improved bikini underwear shape), and the “classicbeige” set is now more of an actual beige colour.

This set was designed to play nicely with Skell’s repositoried underwear separates (found here and here), and you can see one of the options for mixing and matching on Jasmine Rai (3rd sim from the left) in the pic above. She’s wearing the black underwear bottoms with one of Skell’s tank tops.

Pleasantview… with a twist

Do you love Pleasantview? Are you bored and looking for something different to do in your game? How about playing Pleasantview… with a twist?

Here’s what you get: Pleasantview as it ships with the game, but with one detail changed that you will have to play to discover.

This hood is a collaboration between @meetmetotheriver and @strangetomato. It’s based on MeetMe’s rereleased neighbourhood templates, so all her fixes to the original hood are present. The neighbourhood has been renamed to “TWPV”, so if you are currently playing a Pleasantview, it can co-exist nicely next to that.

I can’t really tell you much else. You’ll have to play it and find out for yourself…

4t2 Hearing Aid (a collab with @episims ❤)

For everyone! They're from toddlers to elders, both genders. The left and right sides are separated. They come in the original 15 colors, the left ones are repo'd to the right ones. They have custom icons! (courtesy to Epi - I have no clue how to make them lol) We decided to only put them in the glasses section to avoid it triggering the jewelry turn on/off.

They're morphing so they fit the ears better, but the downside of this is that with weirder ear shapes (like pointy ears), they get quite distorted. Something for something. 🤷‍♀️

Idk, this sounds kind of silly, but I like it when people embrace the raunchiness of the early Sims games. The 2000s had a really unique culture, where raunchiness was acceptable and even encouraged (for the most part).

So it's a shame that TS4 has been scrubbed clean of any risqué content and even removed burglars, ffs. This seems to be ever more prevalent in modern media, where people are pushing for safe content. However, I think that this takes away a part of the Sims' identity. The Sims has always been a little edgy, and that's part of what made it so fun and popular, and why I personally love TS2 and it’s community.

Now this isn’t to say that I agree with everything in the series. There is some problematic content that is best to be left in the past, and that’s reasonable. But I’m sorry, these games were never intended for children. It was always T+, and let me tell you, teenagers are not. fucking. stupid. I feel like ts4 is so condescending it’s funny.
