delayed gratification is lovely. knowing i did my best and can now rest/indulge is so rewarding.
clean, intentional spaces serve me well.
thinking about how erikson’s developmental psych says that love is a virtue to be learned through intimacy in your 20s. i’m really grateful for my relationships.
in the morning, i went to a workshop all about the science of surgery. it was held at a really big and important university! i had lots of fun with my friend, and learnt quite a bit!
we made a little stop at muji afterwords but i didn’t buy anything ):
i came home and went over some very overdue anki flashcards for bio AND chem. then, i went over some of the new bio flashcards. i finished going over genetics flashcards after so long! now, i just need to do exam questions and keep going over them.
semi-productive but fun day!
p.s the whiteboard doesn’t make sense because i write multiple answers for multiple cards on the same whiteboard.
Day 2/20 of the #20doa challenge by @thelastneuron
Really enjoying this challenge so far 🫳🏽🪵
Didn’t do much today, after all it’s my rest day (this was an assigned essay so it wasn’t studying) after doing some planning for the term ahead, I am going to finally get on my meta quest and do something that will make me copiously dizzy and with motion sickness. ✨
Sometimes I think that studying maths is a great way of mediation for me - the silence in my brain, lack of any thoughts or ideas is both worrying and nice.
041024 | did some review for a biology test. glad I did any studying at all because i’ve neglected going over the information in this unit so i forgot a lot. the actual test wasn’t so bad, though. pretty slow and boring wednesday, which i appreciate.
