Reblogging this post because thanks to @natsuhikira, whom i'll never be able to thank enough, we now have all the Sound episode summary/Transcript on this blog. Hope you enjoy; Sorry for the lack of content, I have various article ready to be published but I waited to have a moment to fill this post (and the beginning of the year was really overwhelming). Will also edit various post thise week as I managed to get more supplementary material, and the posting will start again in the next few months. Also I'll probably make a new pinned post soon enough with an index because it's getting complicated to find information amongst the various posts, so that should be helpful.

Audio Drama "Mr. Geass Academy Rebellion" Many thanks to the lovely @natsuhikira for this Drama

Charles speaks his usual bullshit about our world not being one and only and about the past, present and future all existing blablabla, he is basically warning you what's coming after is bullshit. Lelouch comes in and is welcomed by Nunnally, who is the principal of the school, he was awaited as the new professor, they heard of his doing and wanted him here. He introduces himself as Lelouch Lamperouge, a teacher whose job is to deal with delinquants school after school. Nunnally wants him to fix things with the delinquants in her school so it gets back to being a worthy britannian school.

Lelouch asks if that's this bad and Nunnally say it is, as no one act like a person anymore, they can't hold themselves, they have no education and it's like a zoo.

Lelouch is confident about being able to deal with them, but Nunally warns him to not underestimate them, his class is like the worst and previous teachers ended up in hospitals. Lelouch says he can handle that, and he asks Nunnally to stop talking of them like that, as they could hear that and that would be hurtful. Lelouch then goes in his first class, the third beast class, and there is only one student in there; Cecile. They do their introductions, Cecile is very cheerful. Lelouch notices she looks very normal; Eventually, Cecile says that no one came today, to Lelouch's lack of luck, so she proposes him to bring him where they are, to which he agrees. She then brings him to the campus and …Delinquant Orange welcome them. He wants to know who dares to step in there; Lelouch reminds him they are outside and introduces himself before asking him who he is. He is the caid of this place and his name is Jeremiah Gottwald. As they argue about stuff, Lelouch kind of calls Orange….tangerine, which drives Jeremiah super crazy over the nickname, yelling "Mikan /Tangerine) everywhere and getting insane at it, he tries to murder Lelouch. Lelouch then uses his geass to calm Jeremiah. Cecile blames him for using it and Lelouch wonders who she knows about it, as it's a secret Then they meet Lloyd, he is the shadow of the caid; After things get a little out of hand, Lelouch geasses Lloyd and, as he seemingly promised before, leaves the choice of the order to Cecile, she then asks Lloyd to date her;

Lloyd then dutifully agrees and propose to Cecile, leading her to yell in joy and being super flustered, she then thanks Lelouch, asking him to bring back peace in this insane school. Now we move to the third encounter ; As Lelouch and Cecile kees going on and notice how everything is wrecked they hear the sound of broken things; The Glaston team are destroying everything, Lelouch then geass them to stay quiet ; They then hear a roaring sound and Cecile notices Guilford has just stolen a bike; Lelouch geass him into bringing it back, then Diethard is the next one and Lelouch geass him and Odysseus and so on (it's quite funny cause they use various line from the anime during the sound drama, and Cecile being hysterically cute will never not be funny just like Lelouch yelling この犯罪者 ) Cecile then notices how everyone is right now and Lelouch makes a speech about things going right ; Moving on; They arrive on the roof; Cornelia is there and she welcomes them and congratulates him for making it till there; She introduces herself as delinquant Cornelia, and she warns him she is a whole different level from others.Lelouch snaps back for it's the same for him as he is a special one, so which Cornelia says she knows about that, She heard rumors about Lelouch Lamperouge, also known under the "Geass teacher" surname. She knows about geass and has a counter for it, for she has…glasses ! She thought about this counter strike and now wants to take all her time to punish him. She then strikes him, but Cecile comes in and beat Cornelia's ass with various attack like Cecile punch or Cecile beam cause she forbids her to hit Lelouch ; Cornelia is beaten thanks to Cecile. She then warns Lelouch one opponent is still left.

And Charles speaks (his theme begins to play ), he introduces himself as the delinquant of all delinquant, Charles di Bancho da (this introduction is insane) Lelouch understands he really is the ultimate bancho and he has to stop him; Charles tease him about being fearful and Lelouch obviously denies it; Lelouch tells him once he'll have him bend into his will, he'll have the whole school acting as robot and executing his orders and bowing to him; Cecile notices he went over the toEtsy c, meanwhile Charles keeps on mentioning how Lelouch is no match for him and there are rules he has no idea of; Lelouch then freaks out as Charles'eyes shows up his geass and Charles eventually cast it on him ;

A phone is beeping. Lelouch introduces himself, He is the CEO of the Aera eleven compagny, and also known as the Geass president. Nunnally comes in, panicked, cause the Britannia compagny is coming ; we understand that Lelouch plans to use/swallow them and geass

We then jump to Charles who asks Nunnally what it is they are about to make Lelouch do this time, to which Nunnally tells him that's enough (We understand that it's all been Charles playing with his Geass and Lelouch's head)

Audio Drama "A Hundred Geass Ghost Stories"

I didn't hear this drama so i'm merely giving you a small summary from a friend who heard it;

This drama is set up around most of the R2 Student council who are gathered in some (scary) place and tells each other some scary stories; (Hyaku Monogatari, the title of this sound drama, means the hundred stories, it's a way to call ghost stories in Japan) It seems that most of them just tells some unfortunate or crazy events which happened to them, not understanding the whole concept of scary stories, until Suzaku takes the lead and tells them a real scary story, which keeps them on the edge and eventually really frighten thems; Eventually Viletta arrives as they put an end to the session and it all ends up as they notice something strange and realize there is a real ghost amongst them, leading them all to run away while screaming.

That's about it For this Sound episode, always more and more crack, moving on to the next one .

**Gokon are sort of group dates, where boys and girls meet, go to Karaoke, etc, in the hope of finding themselves a girlfriend/boyfriend amongst the various guests, it's something teenagers often do

Drama begins with Lelouch, Gino, Jeremiah and Rolo getting ready for a Gokon. Lelouch already has determined various patterns of possible outcomings for this. To their common surprise, enter Suzaku, Xing-ke, Schneizel and "Hentai Megane" (aka "perverted four-eyes) : Lloyd.

Lelouch gets angry at Suzaku for coming here, Suzaku thinks he might have gotten into the wrong room but it doesn't seem like that. Everyone is puzzled. Suzaku receives a mail from the invited girls who decided to cancel last minute.

Awkward silence.

Suzaku: "Well let's fill the silence LOL"

Schneizel, composed as usual, asks what this fuss is all about and why they couldn't hold the Gokon together. Lelouch cannot accept this since a Gokon is supposed to be between girls and boys. Schneizel replies something as trivial as gender doesn't matter (Expanding here but it's more or less what he means)

While Lelouch agrees, he thinks they must confirm something first: Everyone gathered must reveal their sort of secret technique/pick-up lines to make the girls melt but they can't use basic stuff like "I love you". It has to be somthing that nonetheless leaves a strong impact on the girls.

Everyone is in awe Since everyone agrees, Lelouch motivates everyone by making them repeat the motto of it;

Lloyd, to Gino's surprise, is the first to speak up; His line is "OMEDETOU" Suzaku doesn't quite get it.

Schneizel is second, and starts talking about spring, spring breeze, princesses and cheesy stuff like that (poetic stuff), alas Lelouch cuts him off.

Lelouch then aks Gino to be the next one. Gino barely started saying something about roses, when a loud sound like an explosion is heard. Jeremiah then starts talking like a very cliche homosexual (The effect of Gino's line ?) Lelouch says Gino's line isn't a real pick up line, just something very host like ; Meanwhile, Rolo is disgusted by Jeremiah's attitude.

Rolo then wonders if Jeremiah has anything to say. Jeremiah plays shy, then remembers to switch back to his normal voice. Rolo has to insist to make him reveal his line, but instead he goes on rambling about a woman; Eventually, no one trust him and he does not even get to reveal his line.

Lloyd gets curious about Xing-ke, who starts coughing and collapses. Xing-ke then manages to explain to Rolo (picked up to be his partner in this act, because of his "baby-face" (because it would remind Xing-ke of Tian-zi ) that he has not much time left. Loud sound of explosion again, Rolo gets hit in the heart and acts all shy because of "playboy "Xing-ke' s words before he snaps out of it.

Lelouch says it's not bad, but Gino thinks it's nothing compared to Suzaku's skills. He recalls a conversation with a girl in a Japanese restaurant (this is still naive!Suzaku, so he said something totally ordinary but was misunderstood and didn't notice). Lloyd and even Schneizel are completely dazzled, and start acting gay, just like Xing-ke and Gino.

Lelouch can't believe it, but is confident in his skills. Of course he thinks about …. GEASS! Lelouch: geass LOVE ME! But; Jeremiah: GEASS CANCELER! Lelouch: ASDFJKL JEREMIAH!!!!

It nonetheless works on Rolo: "Nii-san you are so cool !"

Gino then reminds Lelouch of his own rules and that he can't use those words. Even if so, Lelouch has another one; Lelouch: geass DIE FOR MY SAKE Everyone: YES YOUR HIGHNESS!

Jeremiah: GEASS CANCELER Everyone: Damn that was a close one….

Lelouch: And what about this? geass If it's not love, wouldn't you mind dying? Everyone: YES YOUR HIGHNESS! Jeremiah: GEASS CANCELER! Xing-ke: If it hadn't been for Jeremiah we'd be done for good… Lloyd: Too bad for you Lelouch Lelouch tries again, (and probably again and again and again…)

Gino concludes that all Lelouch's killer-lines were just him using Geass and that they should advance to the next step of the Gokon: the King's Game! ( it's like drawing lots and whoever as a result of this becomes the king has the right to command the others) Rolo asks about this, and Lelouch answers by reciting the entire history of the game, dating back to old Russia etc etc.

Lelouch wants to pass, but Schneizel provokes him, saying "if you can't get a hold of this game, how could you get a hold of the world?" Lelouch being Lelouch he responds to provocation just as the enemy expected. Lloyd notices this and laugh, praising Schneizel.

Lelouch gets all excited and the king's game begins assuming they're drawing lots

The king is… ROLO! everyone collapses His first order is for #3 and #6 to do the "kari kari chu chu game" (the lots everybody draws also feature a number, so the King can order number this and number that to do things together, against each other etc. Yes it's as silly as it sounds)

"Kari kari chu chu game"is two people nibbling on the same pocky from each end and eventually their lips meet when they don't pay attention and end up "kissing" ("chu chu") .

#3 is Suzaku and #6 is… Lelouch! Rolo wants to cancel that order, but the King's orders are absolute and cannot be objected.

Lelouch: LET'S DO IT SUZAKU Suzaku: W-wait Lelouch!! sound of Lelouch stuffing a pocky inside Suzaku's mouth

Lelouch is full of fervor because he refuses to lose, for he is Lelouch vi Britannia and starts eating the other side of the pocky. Jeremiah is the referee wile the other ones comment and root for their favorite; Schneizel compares it to some ancient war tactic and Jeremiah thinks it reveals a true man's soul.

As everyone wonders who will first give up… KISS noise Innocent days starts in the BGM Rolo: NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN"

Lelouch: Suzaku, why didn't you stop? Suzaku: Lelouch, that's because we're friends right? (that's his line from the S1 finale, the sound dramas like to re-use and distort the original quotes)

telephone rings Schneizel has Suzaku picking up. (They were seemingly in a karaoke box because they get a call that their time is over. Karaoke boxes are rented for a specific amount of time and when it's almost over you get a call from the clerk so you can finish your song food and prepare to leave)

Lelouch stops Suzaku and wants revenge, so everyone is in for another King's Game.

Audio Drama "Motorcycle Man Jeremiah"

Jeremiah "The man whose body is made of machines, who has a strong sense of loyalty; he shall not forgive any wrongdoers. Motorcycleman Jeremiah, perfected in fighting with all his might." Lelouch "Jeremiah, go forth!" The boy-superintendent Lelouch who serves justice as his mission is up against the Wicked Britannian Emperor Charles, his cunning staff officer Schneizel, and the Death God Imperial Princess Cornelia. With Jeremiah's actions, can Britannia be defeated!?

Motorcycleman Jeremiah is a cyborg who can transform into an autobike. Together with Lelouch, they fight the Evil Britannian Empire day by day. However Schneizel has tapped into the root of Geass. As it is, can Jeremiah prevent the Britannian Empire's goal of World Conquest?

Audio Drama "Sumeragi Kaguya’s meeting with a Demon"

As Kaguya Sumeragi is passing time in the Kururugi temple, she overhears a conversation between Suzaku and some friends of his about them planning to go and catch beetles the next day; As Suzaku doesn't seem very motivated by the thought of bringing her with him, Kaguya then manages to trump him into pretending she hhas her bean bag stuck in a tree; As Suzaku tried to get look for it, Kaguya then suddenly throws beans at him, as he begs her to stop, laughing at him, telling him it's his punishment for leaving his fiancée behind. She then threatens him to reak their engagment, which would be a trouble for the Kururugi family (she acts very spoiled/bratty, actually)

We then moves to a scene with Kaguya and Kirirhara where she learns Suzaku doesn't have the right to take her out of the temple because Kirirhara told him to; As she is sulking about how plying without going outside is impossible, Kirihara reminds her playing is useless while studying is of the utmost importance, to time for a dance lesson !

Suzaku is also training to be a samurai, with a wooden sword, Kaguya begins to tease him about him using this wooden sword and the conversation then moves to what they want to be latter and how, according to Suzaku, if he works hard, he'll be able to reach what he wants. Kaguya doesn't want to say what she wants to become because she doesn't have a say in it (ie, what she wants is different of what Kaguya, the Sumeragi clan member wants)

Kaguya is pissed she has to study and will have to study more when she is back at home and then runs away from the temple, while night is falling; As she is hunting for the beetle she hears Lelouch's voice, calling for the person he just heard; Kaguya and Lelouch meet, but they don't know each other, and Kaguya confuses him with a demon; Lelouch choses to play along. As Kaguya fears he might kidnap or eat her she notices he is holding a flower; Lelouch tells her it's for his little sister; Kaguya is mesmerized to discover demons can have sisters and even enjoy flowers. As she gets more comfortable, thinking the demon isn't so different of the human, Lelouch tells her he likes eating human anyway, to wich Kaguya threatens him with the power of the Sumeragi clan if something happens to her. Lelouch eventually tells her he won't eat her and she can go, but Kaguya changes her mind and tells him he can take her if it means she won't have to get back to her lessons. Lelouch ponders about her status (seemingly paralleling it to the royal families obligation) and tell her she can just stop being a member of the Sumeragi clan.

He then mocks about how she abused her status and know that she isn't that important, that it only comes from her family. After some other nice things he bids her goodbye. Back to Suzaku who is looking for Kaguya and finally finds her. Kaguya is sad and feels bad because she now realizes that she has been abusing Suzaku, but Suzaku being Suzaku he doesn't think it's that bad and he promises her in the future he'll do his best to have her come out and play with him.

Back to the present, it was actually a story Kaguya was counting to Kallen

Kaguya changed since that day and never forgot this night. Kallen is surprised to learn Kaguya was Suzaku's fiancee back then, but it's all in the past now for Kaguya. Zero enters as she muses over Suzaku and she jumps on him in a very Kaguya way. Kallen notices how Kaguya can act lovey dovey with a man whose face she doesn't know and Kaguya tells him the face doesn't matter; Zero then intervernes, telling her a demon might be hiding behind his mask. Kaguya is first surprised, but then excited by the idea of it; Zero is surprised so Kaguya explains he is the first one she chose by her own will and that's all that matters. Lelouch respect that and Kaguya conclused about how she'll bear her responsabilities and will follow her own path while assuming what comes out of it.

Additional information : While some wonders if the last audio drama is actually canon, since nothing crack-ish or Au-ish actually happens, it seems unlikely since we saw in the anime, that Lelouch and Nunally actually met Kaguya upon their arrival in Kururugi Shrine (and it was certainly at the beginning since Suzaku still disliked Lelouch) So far only the last audio drama and the Beautiful record of Rebellion drama could be canon, but if we go by the fact the Kaguya drama contradicts canon, it's unlikely for this one.

And that's the end for the Sound Drama of R2 ; While it was good fun, it would have been better if those drama had been mere fanfiction instead of taking room for what could have been meaningful stories, like we got with the season 1 sound drama (especially given the number of new characters in R2, fleshing out some of them in additional canon material wouldn't have been a luxury) Hope you enjoyed anyway.

Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 Sound Episode 5 // Not Canon (Crack)

Short Drama "C-taked C.C." (It's a pun between C.C's name and the shiitake, well known japanese mushroom) C.C. is the amnesiac C.C. in this one

CC is apologizing for being a bother to her master again, while Lelouch, sounding fed up, orders her not to hide like she does. CC then begs him to not hurt her.

He's interrupted by a call from the emperor on his private phone, who greets Lelouch as "My sweet son" Both sound very serious, but Charuru manages to throw in a line about Lelouch making him a grandfather; Charles claims to have some interesting information for Lelouch because he knows a way to turn C.C. back to her old self. (There is a lot of autoderision with stretching of their names and voices during the conversation)

Change of a scene Zero announces suddenly, out of the blue that his army will now be hunting a mushroom; The Black Knights are wondering what's wrong with Zero, if he ate something bad or hit his head or anything like that; Rolo , hearing that, then geasses everyone and beats them up while they're frozen for daring to say bad things about his nii-san.

Zero explains he needs their help to reset the current "moe-moe-shoujo" CC to her old self (the black knights are super confused and don't get a thing). The emperor told him the only way for C.C. to become normal again is to use a specific mushroom, the "mushroom of C", from the World of C. However he also warned him that attempting to find said mushroom is a very dangerous enterprise. Despite that, Zero already has a plan: he has gathered all of the potential mushrooms with different look (green ones, purple ones, striped ones ... ) and the Black Knight's mission is to cook them and present the dishes to C.C.. Diethard is worried about some of them being poisonous but Zero replies he is wrong and that the emperor promised there would be no poison.

Kallen thinks it's an interesting idea, and she and Diethard begins to think of it like a TV Cooking show in which each of the candidates will present their dishes to C.C.. Diethard, as the TV professional he is, wants to imagine a shorter, more catchy title for the show but Rolo turns up to geass and smack him again.

As the "show" begins, Kallen asks C.C. to introduce herself ; C.C. then presents herself as the maid and "moe-moe-shoujo" C.C. and overall makes a very submissive and weak impression. Kallen, amused by CC's change, abuses of the situation and intimidates C.C. who is not superior to her anymore, leading C.C. to whine and be scared of her.

Toudou, heavily praised by Chiba, is the first to present a dish for her, something they used to eat before. C.C. thinks it looks rather grotesque, but encouraged by her master she digs in. This has the magical effect of turning her into tsundere!CC (when Zero asks her how she feels, she gets all excited and replies this doesn't mean she has any feelings for him)

The second dish is a gratin made by Chiba (who mutters dere-dere things about Toudou nobody understands), which she forcefully shoves into C.C.'s mouth, but it's not the mushroom of C either, instead it just resets her to the previous state, aka moeblob C.C. (and additionally burns her mouth so she'll talk a bit funny for the rest of the track)

Diethard tries next, with a britannian dish inspired from a gourmet show. C.C. is reluctant at first and asks Zero if she must eat that too. Zero takes pity on her and doesn't want to force her but Diethard gets offended so Zero asks C.C. to eat it after all. After tasting it C.C. thinks it tastes delicious and happily munches, but it does not have the effect everyone hoped for but transforms into something with drills as her hands (Another Gurren Lagaan reference ?) Zero yells at Diethard to explain himself, but he's barely showing any concern, so C.C. gets crazy and crushes him.

Lastly we have Kallen and her mushroom risotto, who asks to no mind the purpleness of it. C.C. says she can't eat like this ( Because of what Diethard's meal did to her); Kallen chuckles and simply asks her to open her mouth before she feeds her. C.C.'s eyes begin to itch and when Zero wants to have a look he gets struck by a powerful C.C.'s beam (Now she is an X-men) Kallen wants to use her as a weapon but Zero is in despair, so they decide to feed all the remaining mushrooms to C.C., hoping the right one will be in the loot. One turns C.C. into a giant, "bigger than the Zangetsu" (Alice in Wonderland reference now ?), Diethard loses it for no specific reason, Kallen is impressed and Zero seems deeply troubled by his failure to save C.C., while the latter blames herself for everything, says her goodbyes and attempts to run away.

Scene change Suzaku reports to the emperor: A Chinese spy has observed a huge mysterious figure resembling a young girl emerging from the Black Knights's Headquarters in Hourai Island. Suzaku is convinced it's a mistake but Charles goes all "ZERO, YOU REALLY DID IT!!" and bursts into endless laughter, leaving a completely confused Suzaku behind. The drama ends on C.C. fleeing from Zero and the others, still being a giant.

Notes : A lot of the lines are quotes from the main show I tried to keep as such for like Zero's "No, you're wrong!" and Charles " you really did it !". Gotta love the self-irony here.

Translation by Kitsune Short Drama "Nunna-chan of the oden shop"

Sound drama begins with Suzaku's narration. During the time of Heisei, in the lower parts of Tokyo, a small shop can be found. The name of the shop is Oden Shop Nunna-chan.

Kallen comes into the shop straight from work and orders her usual meal :Oden with thick fried tofu and eggs. Tamaki, who arrived there before Kallen, talks to her.

Tamaki: Hey, Kallen, been promoted now at your work, in that bunny pub? Kallen: That's how it is. So far, there's only greasy old men there, but I definitely won't stop until I take back the number one title from C.C. ! Tamaki: If Uma-chan (referring to Kallen) is working so hard, I'll come and visit you ! Kallen: Shut up ! Don't come. Tamaki: Didn't I tell you that you should be nicer to people? Suzaku: Ta-ma-ki, it'll be hard for her to concentrate on her job if acquaintances come around. Tamaki: Suzaku, didn't you say yourself that you wanted to see Kallen in her bunny outfit?

Tamaki then proceeds to drop some dirty secrets about Suzaku, which Suzaku tries to deny with vigor. Kallen comments that it creeps her out more when Suzaku is acting straight-laced; Suzaku then tries to change to topic by praising Nunnally and her oden, saying that it's the best. Nunnally thanks him by saying that she'll offer prayers for him. "What !? There's that kind of rule !?" Tamaki cries out.

Tamaki tries to copy Suzaku by praising Nunna-chan's oden as being "the best in the world…ah, the space…no, the whole galaxy!"

Nunnally kindly chides Tamaki that he is overdoing it. Suzaku comments on Tamaki being only talk as always. Tamaki insists that he is being really sincere, and that Nunnally is truly a good girl to be working that hard to run a shop. Kallen agrees with Tamaki, while Suzaku asks Nunnally if she can handle everything alright.

Nunnally: Yes, I'm used to it already. Tamaki: Oh geez, how could Lelouch go on a journey and leave such a cute sister as Nunnally?

Nunnally drops her cooking utensil.

Suzaku: Tamaki! It's not good to talk about this! Kallen: You…idiot!! Nunnally, you can charge this guy twice the amount he pays for alcohol! Nunally: Okay. Then, I won't hesitate to. Tamaki: Geh, for real!?

Everyone wonders what Lelouch is doing in some place. His whereabouts are unknown. There's no letter at all. However, Kallen thinks that Lelouch is fine.

Lelouch suddenly speaks, saying that they worried for nothing.

Suzaku: This voice! Lelouch: insert sinister laugh How are you doing, ladies and gentlemen? I, Lelouch Lamperouge, who you have been waiting impatiently for, has just returned!

Suzaku, Kallen, and Tamaki all shout, "Lelouch ll!!" all at the same time and talk angrily at him, calling him names such as, "gambler", "worthless human", "womanizer", and "stupid brother".

Kallen urges Nunnally to say something to Lelouch. Nunnally welcomes back her big brother. Lelouch then tells Nunnally that he only came back to do something.

Lelouch: Ah, it looks like nobody noticed the hidden switch. (sound of knocking) Kallen: There was a hidden door in such a place!? Tamaki: What is it? GEH!! It's an iron safe!?

Lelouch tells everyone that he has about a hundred million inside the iron safe, to which everyone is greatly surprised. Lelouch opens the safe only to find that the money is gone.

Nunnally explains to Lelouch that she has already donated the money to a charitable institution. Nunnally says she has been voicing this since before, things about a kind world, how the heart/spirit of the geass is same as the heart of a mother.

The password is, "Everyone, let's go to the World of C!"

Nunnally: "It's not good to keep money that you haven't earned honestly," father used to say--" Lelouch: That man already died! Suzaku: He liked to preach educational things. A pity that such an interesting fellow died. Tamaki: Heh, what old man Charles said sounds good. You must restrain yourself when it comes to money. Nunnally: Tamaki-san, it's time for you to pay your bill, please. Tamaki: Yes ma'am. Lelouch: Then, I have no more business here! I must reestablish my funds-- Kallen: Stop right there! Where do you plan to go, Lelouch?

Kallen, Suzaku, and Tamaki don't plan to let Lelouch off easy. Suzaku says he has a lot to tell Lelouch, that he will beat into shape his bad attitude of laughing through his nose at hard work and living irresponsibly like a yakuza.

Lelouch: Heh, you think that I will be moved. I'll listen to your talk at the least. Tamaki: What are you doing leaving Nunnally alone!? Lelouch: Didn't I told you already? I will take control of the world! Kallen: That is to say, what you are doing is merely gambling, aren't you?

Lelouch explains that he will control the world by buying out several enterprises to establish a large corporation and controlling the stocks. He assures that his plan is perfect.

Suzaku asks if it is for Nunnally's sake. Lelouch says so and that he wants to create a safe and happy place for Nunnally, since the town they live in is prone to calamities/disasters.

Kallen asks Lelouch if he thinks that is what Nunnally wishes. Lelouch in turn asks if they (Suzaku, Kallen, and Tamaki) want Nunnally to stay forever in that shop. Do they have the power to guarantee her future? Kallen thinks Lelouch is wrong. Kallen tries to make Lelouch understand by telling him a story about her Naoto-niichan.

Kallen: My brother, Naoto, you remember him? Lelouch: Yeah, he was raised in the same time. Kallen: As brother's sister, I can understand Nunnally's feelings very well. Naoto was always only thinkingabout his dreams. He liked mountain climbing. Every time he talked about mountains, his eyes would sparkle. This year, he said that he would conquer Mount Everest. And when this is over, I will teach you mountain climbing, he told me. Then he left the house. I had a bad feeling. My mind could not be at ease… Tamaki: Naotoooo…sob Kallen: To turn into this…I…cries Lelouch: Wait! I've thought about it and your brother's not even dead! Kallen: Oh, I've been exposed. Lelouch: Now that I remember, Naoto's an idiot. He was cheated by a guy named Lloyd who wears glasses. Naoto was tricked into becoming a guinea pig for his flying experiments. He was hospitalized by attempting to jump off from a cliff shouting, "Naoto Kashoushiki! Yay!".

Apparently Kallen's attempt to appeal to Lelouch's sympathy didn't work. Lelouch asks whether Kallen wants to persuade him or make a fool out of him. Which is which?

Now, it's Suzaku's turn to convince Lelouch to stay by talking about his cousin named Kaguya.

Suzaku: Her name's Kaguya. During summer break, she would always come to my house. "I'll become oniisama's wife," she would say. A lot of things happened, but still it was fun. And then, she stopped being agreeable. That girl would come to my house, would read manga and spend most of her time posting on message boards on the internet. She would make a mess in her room. "It is for my husband's sake that I am keeping this wonderful lifestyle, am I not?" she said. She would make me buy ice cream and make me do her homework. When she was angry, she would cry, then kick. She's completely abandoned the etiquette she learned at boarding school.

Lelouch asks what Suzaku is trying to do. Suzaku realizes that he's strayed from his original intentions. His point, he says, is that he thinks of his cousin, who's full of naivety, as a sister he loves so much. Suzaku recalls one time, during New Year's Day, "The battledore's shuttlecock got stuck in the tree branches. Please get it for me," Kaguya requested. Suzaku climbed the tree and Kaguya laughed, saying, "You've been tricked, ohahaha!" Then, the next moment, water balloons came flying at me.

Suzaku begins shouting in a frenzy, blurting out things like, "Please stop it, Kaguya! Help me! Somebody help me! Somebody!" Kallen snaps him out of it.

Lelouch says that he understands Suzaku. Then he tells Tamaki that it's his turn to talk. Tamaki says that he doesn't have parents nor siblings and it's not in his interest to tell heart-moving stories. He then challenges Lelouch to a game of chinchiron, a dice game. If Tamaki wins, Lelouch stays forever.

But Lelouch wins, as expected.

Kallen: As I thought, we weren't able to stop Lelouch! Suzaku: Perhaps, it'll take ten years to treat Lelouch's condition. Tamaki: We're probably lucky that this idiot wasn't born as the prince of a great empire, whose mother was killed.

Lelouch is about to leave but Nunnally stops him.

Nunnally: If I win against oniisama in a challenge, you will never leave again, right? Oniisama, please have a match with me! Suzaku: Lelouch, these are Nunnally's feelings. Lelouch: Alright. But I won't hold back. Suzaku: Lelouch! Kallen: But, Nunnally is probably the only one who can stop Lelouch. Lelouch: What will our match be? Nunnally: A long time ago, when our parents were still around, we used to compete over helping with the chores, do you remember? Lelouch: You mean -that-? Nunnally: We haven't done this in a long time, "Dish washing Match!"

And the match starts with Kallen as referee. Lelouch chants "must rub" again and again, while Nunnally chants "become clean" non-stop. .

Tamaki: Amazing! Are they dish washing machines? Suzaku: The plates are becoming sparkling clean with their intense vigor. Kallen: Lelouch is good with household chores, isn't he? Suzaku: Unlike you, Kallen. Kallen: Suzaku, your personality's became worse these days. Suzaku: If I were good, I wouldn't be able to be friend with Lelouch.

Nunnally asks Lelouch why he doesn't like to stay in the shop, if he doesn't like oden. Lelouch says that he only likes Nunnally's cooking and that is why, he's fine with whatever Nunnally likes to do. He doesn't really want to fuss over the shop. Nunnally's hands suddenly stop.

Nunnally's tears start falling as she tells Lelouch that all she wants is to greet her big brother when he comes back and to prepare him food. Lelouch shuts the faucet. "Nunnally…."

Kallen: Siblings are a good thing, aren't they? voice breaks Tamaki: What's this? Tears sniff are coming out from my eyes…sniff Suzaku: Today's a good day! sniff A good day! Nunnally: Oniisama… Lelouch: Nunnally! Nunnally: Chance~ insert "Become clean" x 10 I'm done washing dishes! Everyone: EEEEEHHH!?? Nunnally: Kallen-san, please judge. Kallen: Certainly…Nunnally's win.

And so, Lelouch loses. Nunnally tells him that since the shop is named after her, she will be the manager and Lelouch will be her employee. Lelouch must call her "tenchou". With Lelouch's help, Nunnally says she can achieve her dream of establishing branch stores and even adding a convenience store to the oden shop. Nunnally's plan for world conquest is through her oden shop.

Lelouch: "Nunnallyyyy!!!"

Notes : LOL, Suzaku is a hentai. Interestingly, Naoto is alive in this AU and he likes mountains! Suzaku's monologue about Kaguya was so fun to listen to. His girly Kaguya impression is awe-hilarious. (His story about Kaguya is actually told in the last sound drama of R2, in Sound episode 6) Scheming, devious, semi-Dark, sly Nunnally is great.

Short Drama "Welcome to Lloyd and Cecile's Knightmare Show"

The drama begins with Lloyd and Cecile introducing themselves (Cecile says she's 17 years old) and introducing the show and their guests, which are the Code Geass well known Knightmare; (Basically the Knightmare are alive and talk, with the seiyuu's voices of their pilots, even though said voices are a bit modified to fit each of the Knightmare's personality)

Order of appearance of the Knightmares: First, Lancelot, mentions he works for the britannian army, his "scary" nickname of white Shinigami; He is very very nervous and stutters a bit.

Guren is the next one, she just says her name until Cecile asks a bit more information, to which she says one of her (Kallen's) key sentences "EAT THIS BRITANIAN SHIT". She's talking like some juvenile delinquent (That's why we have Kallen dressed as a japanese delinquent on the cover of the drama)

After that, Gawain appears and asks people not to mind the strange voice (C.C. and Zero are talking the same lines together), it's because he's got space for 2 pilots inside.

Next one is Tristan, who is very glad of being a Knightmare (His personality is identical as Gino's)

Mordred arrives and stutters a lot, it seems she's very nervous, but glad of being here.

Shen-hu talks in a very smooth and seductive voice and compliments Ceciles good looks, but she tells him to die.

Vincent introduces himself in a very dull voice as the little brother of Lancelot.

The last planned guest is "Ohayou Gozaimashita" Siegfried, who tries to come on stage but gets bashed by the other guests because he's not really a Knightmare, but a flying Fortress. Guren even tries to fry him.

Eventually, a super-hyper-spazzy Shinkirou makes a rushed entry although he wasn't on the guestlist.

After the introductions, Cecile asks them to tell a little anecdote about their relationship with their pilots. Lancelot begins by saying that Suzaku refills the energy filler way too much and he also borrows parts from Cecile's Knightmare and all of this makes him troubled. Cecile is very concerned and wants to know if it happens all the time to which he replies it's only 9 out of 10 times. Guren thinks Kallen pushes her way too much and she often weeps on Raksharta's shoulder. Gawain thinks this is nothing compared to what he suffered, naming hisdouble-suicide with Siegfried (He says "shunju" as in the suicide two lovers commit together ). Lloyd gets annoyed by the two voices so C.C.'s voice decides to continue the talking alone (since Zero is already speaking Shinkirou it makes sense).

Guren wants to impress everyone with cool moves, and Lancelot goes along with it but Lloyd urges them to stop this in the studio, especially when Tristan joins them, followed by Siegfried and Mordred who takes out the Stark Hadron. Cecile doesn't know what to do anymore for them to behave and get along. Shinkirou seems to think it's a very funny situation. Mordred then fires her Hadron; Lloyd says he thought he was gonna die while Cecile's hair has turned into an afro because of the shot; Shen-hu intervenes to enquires if his beloved person (Cecile) is fine.

After that, Lloyd brings some liquid Sakuradite so that the Knightmare can have a drink and they eventually get drunk on it. Siegfried nearly drowns in it, Vincent is a spoilsports but is pushed by his big brother Lancelot, Shen-hu gets all poetic and sings a Chinese Federation song, Guren flames up, Shinkirou (try to imagine a drunk Zero) tells everyone to join the trip to the World of C, Cecile is in despair and everything escalates into a huge explosion.

ending song Lloyd and Cecile finally say goodbye to the audience, announcing that next week the Black Knight's mechas such as Gekka will be featured. The chaos is complete.

Translation by Kitsune Short Drama "Lelouch's impossible part-time job

The Setting is an Hamburger restaurant, where Lelouch is working part-time, a job attributed by Rivalz, the job coordinator of Ashford. Lelouch complains a little because he works here because Viletta sensei's punished him and it was the punishment she gave him. Rivalz encourages him to try smiling a little. Lelouch gets all enthusiastic because he rehearsed that in front of the mirror and demonstrate leading Rivalz to shivers at what he witnesses. Female customers enter, Lelouch knows all their data already. Rivalz notices he deals with them fairly wel, but it appears Lelouch actually abused of his charm with ladies to make them order (Rivalz calls it "Pheromon poison") Lelouch is very proud of himself anyway.

Suddenly C.C. enters and Lelouch sems concerned, so Rivalz inquires whether they know each other. C.C. ignores the question and orders a chorizo pizza. Lelouch gets angry, explaining that this is a hamburger restaurant, and she shouldn't bother him at work. C.C. uses her condescending tone and complains because this restaurant doesn't propose anything she wants, the bantering then turns into a fight and Rivalz tries to stop them because it'll get Lelouch fired.

Indeed, after the resuatrant mess, Lelouch now has a new job, he is a bellboy in a hotel. Rivalz asks about the girl from last time, for she was pretty cute to which Lelouch tells him about his taste in women being the worst. Anyway, he seems to fit in perfectly and says there are no problems. Truth is, he geasses the customers to carry their luggage by themselves when they are too heavy for him. Coincidentially, C.C. walks in again, and Lelouch feels like she wants to cause trouble again. C.C. wants him to lift her super heavy luggage, but since geass doesn't work on her, it's either he has to lift it (and even become her personal waiter) or...he flees. So he ends up running away.

And, new job again, this time we are in a clothes' shop (More like a tailor shop), and Lelouch is pretty good at it. C.C. walks in again because coincidentally she also comes here often to buy clothes; She goes in the dressing room to try on some clothes) Rivalz then questions if Lelouch is or isnt' interested by her after Lelouch shut her off to which Lelouch warns him if he doesn't want to die he'd rather stay out of it. C.C. suddenly wants Lelouch to measure her, when he insists that she certainly knows her sizes best, C.C. replies she wants to prove to someone (her line refers to what she said to Kallen in the Beautiful record of rebellion drama so it's certainly Kallen) that her figure hasn't changed in centuries. Lelouch then manages to try and take her three sizes with a measuring tape, to which C.C. reacts with very ecchi lines "where are you touching" stuff like that, with Lelouch being as Lelouch as can be ( he snaps at her when she mentions "it must be your first time"lol); From Rivalz point of view, with lines being easily taken out of context, things seems super suggestive in the dressing room; Eventually, C.C. ends up punching him when he begins to speak her three size outloud (Her bust size is seemingly 80).

New job, security guard in some store. Rivalz brings him hot coffee. Lelouch picked this job so stay away from people as he is scared "that"will show up again. As Lelouch and Rivalz take a look at what's inside the boxes within the wharehouse, they notice it's frozen pizza and.... C.C. OBVIOUSLY turns up with the Black Knights' theme music, and Lelouch can barely hide the fact that she's part of the Order from Rivalz. He calls her a thief, but she corrects him, it's "Phantom Thief" ("Kaito", as in Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne, Kaito kid, etc), as opposed to a vile criminal. She nonetheless steals all the pizza that was stored in the shop (switching to a scary overly moe voice), but there is an alarm that C.C. inadvertently activates, and shit goes on. Rivalz and Lelouch manage to run away, and C.C. gets trapped behind a closing door.

Rivalz has gotten a final job for Lelouch, involving a gas mask and a cursed location close to a hospital. The job is about washing corpses and Rivalz didn't want to bring lelouch there but it's his last job opportunity; Lelouch is confident it should be fine. As Rivalz left, Lelouch notice a pool on the hospital floor; There seems to be a floating corpse inside, and whenever he tries to drown it, the corpse seems to react (it's hand) Eventually the corpse ends up being C.C. who raises her scary face and yells a very exagerated cry of his name "RuRushuuuuuu !!!" (like the emperor say in the japanese version) and it's the end.

Note: Apparently Lelouch is washing/cleaning corpses in the hospital's morgue, partly as a reference to C.C.'s job when she was still a slave girl.

Audio Drama "The Village of Kururugi, Dwelling of Evil Spirits, A Really Scary Geass"

The Drama begins as Suzaku happens to be back at the Kururugi temple, musing about nostalgic memories of his past there, with Nunnally and Lelouch;

Lelouch, Gino, Anya, Rolo and C.C. have come to the Kururugi temple, seemingly to everyone's belief, to enjoy a festival, but it turns out they mistook Lelouch because he meant a matsuri (offering to the God living in the temple) and they understood omatsuri (festival) As Anya and C.C. are bored by the perspective, Gino wonders what Suzaku plans to do there, to which Lelouch replies he doesn't know but that the Kururugi temples isn't the same as most temple in Japan. Anya is seemingly wearing a miko garb, while Lelouch keeps on explaining things about how some stuff about this temple is weird, Gino and Anya are all about doing some cliche tourist stuff and Lelouch gets pissed at them not even trying to listen.

Suzaku then interrupts them, noticing how they have followed him only to discover what he planneds to do by coming over there; He also notices how Anya's miko isn't very miko like as she wears a very shot skirt; C.C. then mentions she once cosplayed with a similar miniskirt and Lelouch and Suzaku tried to imagine that before C.C. calls them back to reality.

Eventually Suzaku get his stuff ready to perform the ritual (which has nothing in common with usual shintoist ritual) as it involved the blood of a behaded chicken, a cursed straw doll and a sword which was drown in criminal's blood. Suzaku wants to seal demonic spirit for it is the role of the Kururugi temple, and the seal has weakened so it needs to be renewed.

Suzaku then begins to say basic stuff like "disappear evil spirit" to everyone's delusion as it is very simple and an evil spirit with emperor Charles's voice eventually appear; As Suzaku can't defeat the evil spirit he decides to use Lancelot but gets defeated anyway; Gino then uses tristan but gets killed, just like Rolo when he tries to use both his geass and his Vincent;

Lelouch then decides to step up and use an all time technique to defeat the spirit, which is to simply deny it's existence (okay this one was good, that is so Lelouch) before calling him out on his lack of closed relatives and him being an illusion. He also tries to use geass but it doesn't work; The spirit gets super angry at that and threatens to eat them all. Xing-ke and Tianzi suddenly intereferes, with Kaguya as well, Xing ke mentions that his family mastered several art like the ones of Feng Shui (…) and that he can defeat the spirit.

He then motivates everyone to yell a nonsensical formula to destroy the spirit, but after several trials it doesn't work and the spirit take out Xing-ke. The spirit then propose to avoid destroying them all if the most beautiful woman around is willing to give herself as a sacrifice; Upon hearing that, Girls begin to fight in order to decide who should be the sacrifice cause they all think they are the prettiest. Eventually C.C. decides to use the power of…Ichirou Okouchi in order to defeat the evil spirit which …works, since he is the creator of Code Geass. As all the survivors leave carefree and hungry we get a glimpse of all the defeated who have been left behind and ask for rescue.

This Drama is about the art week festival which happens in Ashford, and really begins when Rolo enters the student council room, visibly tired; Surprised, Milly wonders what's wrong and Rolo tells her it's because of the Art sessions, Shirley sighs and understands; Milly doesn't understand and they explain that Rolo is tired because he had to be a model for the other students because of the Art festival; as Milly is super disappointed to not know about it, Shirley summarizes the event and end up mentionning Lelouch was the model last year, to Milly and Rolo's surprise; She then imitates how people asked him to not move and to not change his expression ; Rolo gets all dere dere thinking about how it's similar to him; Milly on her side is very unhappy that she didn't knew and didn't witness Lelouch's demise; We then skip to Lelouch entrance, seemingly looking for Rolo to talk about cooking, when Milly welcomes him with a very well done Charles's imitation of his "RuRushuuu" before they switch to the topic of the art week; Milly wants Lelouch to get naked so they can draw him and of course, Lelouch doesn't want to; He begins to think of all the reasons why he doesn't want that, such as they might draw him poorly before he gets back on his feet and reminds Milly that if she forces him to be a nude model, she'd have his fans who'd blame her and she might lose her seat as president. Milly is shocked at his idea to use women against him but Lelouch is very satisfied with himself. Lelouch then proposes Rivalz as model, Rivalz seems ready to sacrifice himself for Milly's happiness but Milly…doesn't want him.

Meanwhile, Rolo is all admirative of his big brother being able to get out of it of his own before the attention shifts to him, Indeed if neither Lelouch or Rivalz can do it, Rolo will have to do it; Milly then compliments his look and makes him feel quite uncomfortable before Lelouch reminds him it's an order from the president of the student council, to which Rolo is like "Brother ?!" Rolo then begins to think about ways to get out of this mess without endangering Lelouch but suddenly Lelouch intervenes and reminds Milly that she can't have his little rother be naked in front of a crowd, to Rolo's relief; He then implies that to protect Rolo he'd be willing to do it but Rolo intervenes and says he'll do it if it's for Lelouch's sake; As they are in their very brother moment Milly realizes she is the mean one there while Rolo is all happy in his thoughts because Lelouch wanted to protect him; Suzaku eventually arrives, all cheerful as usual and as Milly begins to try and bribe him for her project with her super sweet voice he rejects her offer without even leaving her the chance to say it; Gino comes in after him shortly and the evil mind of Milly and Lelouch combined decide to have him be the prey, by talking about how Lelouch is the only one who can do what they need for the next event; Suzaku tries to warn him but is shut down by the others, and Gino falls into the trap because if Lelouch can do it, he can also do it; They manage to have everyone "agreeing", leading Gino to agree and he ends up in the position that you can imagine, much to Milly's satisfaction.

That's about it for This audio Drama, The second one could very well have happened as it's not pure crack, like the first one and last one of the R2 sound drama but it's a mess so it's up to you how you want to consider it; Hope you enjoyed ~

Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 Sound Episode 1 // Canon & Not Canon (Crack)

Code Geass Sound episode are CD containing various story tracks, as well as character songs, that were released during both Season 1 and R2; Season 1 Sound episodes are staff release and canon material, expanding the world of Code geass, telling side stories and events which happened;

Alas R2 tracks are mostly crack material, relating situations with characters who either never met, or were enemies during the time being (aside from not being physically at the same place) and fall into the end of Alternate universe crackish stories, so not canon to the anime; The First sound episode of R2 and the last might be canon, as their settings and situations make sense within the show though; Character songs are still canon material though. I'll mention about their status for each one of them anyway so let's start with the first CD drama of R2

Short Drama "Fantasy Battle! Lelouch vs. Suzaku

The drama begins as Kallen and C.C. are enjoying some tea in Ashford, under the sun; As they are talking, Shirley, Milly and Viletta are coming their way, Shirley is complaining about how Milly and Viletta are siding with Suzaku when it comes to the possibility of a Lelouch VS Suzaku face off; C.C. and Kallen enter the discussion, seemingly agreeing that Lelouch will never beat Suzaku in sport (Lol at Viletta noticing how weird it is for all of them to know each other) They then begin to list sport in which Lelouch might beat Suzaku; C.C. mentions fencing, as Lelouch is great to run away and have good reflexes, before fantasizing about how thrilling the duel would be if one of them kill the other, eliciting negative reaction from both Shirley and Kallen; Shirley then mentions swimming and begin to fantasize about a beach day with all the fun it implies and with Lelouch and Suzaku in swimmsuit being ready to face each other in a very manly way; We get to hear a bit of her fantasies with Lelouch and Suzaku ready to enter the water, doing warm up, playing with water, running after each other playfully, laughing etc etc; All Caught up in her fantasies, Shirley ask them to stop it and to allow her to join them before…she faints from a noseblood. Back to the topic, Milly then propose Tennis and imagine them both fighting in a tennis match, but Suzaku unleashes an endless number of hardcore attack on Lelouch, to which Kallen and Viletta conclude Lelouch will most certainly die in a tennis match against Suzaku.

Cornelia, Cecile and Anya suddenly joins him, interested by the topic of killing Lelouch, they call themselves the Babe trio ; Cornelia and Cecile agree that the subject is complicated because Suzaku is a physical monster; Cecile then remembers a moment when she dropped a microchip under the foot of the Lancelot and how Suzaku physically raised said foot so she could get back her item.

Anyway suddenly proposes wrestling to which Kallen strongly reacts not understanding how Lelouch would even stand a chance; Anya talks about dark humor and surprise lol; Shirley suddenly awakes as Anya is talking about her plan for Lelouch to win, which would need for Lelouch to put cream all over his body; A new fantasy unfold where Suzaku is amazed at how slippery Lelouch is and how he can't grab him (with some very disturbing slippery noises) leading to another Shirley fainting/nosebleed. Nunnally propose a skate match (yeah no one knew she was there) and Nunnally unfold a script where Lelouch would stumbles and Suzaku would have to hold his hand, with Lelouch being all like "It's not like i did it on prupose"; Kallen interrupts it, questionning why is Lelouch suddenly tsundere before admitting it sounds quite nice to everyone's shocked "Eeeeh ?" Because there weren't enough people already, Kaguya and Raksharta join the fun, with Kaguya cheering for a sumo match between the two of them since it's the national sport of Japan; Another slippery fantasy happen before Raksharta proposes Kabbaddi (An indian team sport where within the attacking phase the player must repeat the word "Kabaddi" to prove he didn't catch his breath)

We then see both Lelouch and Suzaku Kabbaddi kabbaddi kabbaddi before Kallen and C.C. brushed the Kabbaddi off; C.C. then concludes Lelouch's can't win in sport but she believes he can win in a pizza cooking contest, where she'd obviously be the judge. Viletta then proposes a shopping contest, then Milly proposes a an auction contest, Viletta a pachinko, and others girls proposes other weird ideas; The whole thing seems to be turning in some ways to torture the loser of whatever game for the girls amusement (listening to a speech given by the Britannian emperor sounds really awful) It's ends up with Kallen wondering what they were first talking about and everyone seems to have forgotten.

Kallen: Everyone has arrived at the designated location. C.C.: Is that so? There's still time before the operation begins. Kallen: Is it true that there are Japanese being forced to work in this factory? C.C.: If the information Urabe gave us is accurate, yes. Kallen: Damn Britannians… C.C.: We will save the Japanese, take over this property and make it our, the Black Knights, headquarters. It's like hitting two birds with one stone. Kallen: Yeah, I'm trembling with excitement. silence C.C.: Hey. Kallen: What? C.C.: This is boring. Say something. Kallen: What? C.C.: You have "sad" written all over your face. I hate that. It's irritating. Kallen: I really am sad so I can't do anything about it, can I? Lelou- Zero is in that state… And our comrade have all- C.C.: What a depressing woman. Kallen: Stop irritating me. That's about it for Sound episode 1 ; While the first one definitely belongs to the land of non canon, crack stuff, the second one could be canon since it happens in a logical setting, in between both seasons and doesn't contradict the anime at all. Now all of the other R2 sound drama will all be pure crack and non canon stuff, be prepared (with the possible exception of the last one though) Hope you enjoyed.

Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion Sound Episode Newtype Special // Canon and Not Canon

This Sound drama is a special sound episode which came out with the July 2007 issue of Newtype, in between Stage 23 and Stage 24 of Code Geass season 1 (For those who didn't knew, There was a 2 month pause in between Stage 23 and Stage 24 and 25, that's why those last two episode have a different opening, made specially for them.)

So there are 5 tracks in this special sound episode, but most are really crack~ish given they break the 4th wall, leading even the characters to meet their voice actors and being mostly happening as a radio show; The first one is canon though, as it happens within the show timeline and recall an important thematic within Code Geass.

A gunshot is heard and people scream.

Robber Don’t move!!

Boss Everyone get down, hands above your heads.

Lelouch “This was the national bank, a cheap looking place for low class citizens. Usually we just turn off the TV when we see it on but this time, we couldn’t. It was because…”

Kallen is grabbed by the robber.

Kallen Aaahh!

Suzaku Kallen!

Robber Try anything weird and I’ll shoot this girl right through the head!

Lelouch “This was real and we were there.”

Boss We’re just here to take the money. It’ll be over in no time if you cooperate.

Lelouch “There were two robbers. The one with the commanding voice was the boss holding a rifle and the stupid looking one was holding Kallen hostage with a pistol. With my Geass that gave me the power to command any human being, I could deal with them easily but I would have to use it without Suzaku and Kallen noticing.”

Boss I’m going inside… Watch the hostages.

Robber Got it, Boss.

Lelouch “Maybe I could contact the Black Knights. I’m sure there was an armed unit in the D7 Area but, it will be a reckless move.”

Suzaku Stop it! Let that girl go!

Kallen Suzaku…?

Lelouch “That idiot-!”

Suzaku I’ll be your hostage! That girl’s not well.

Lelouch “No… I think she’s actually quite a tough one.”

Suzaku Don’t you have any shame taking a girl hostage?

Robber Hmm…? You’re an Eleven! Help us if you’re Japanese! All the money here was taken away from us by the Britannians!

Suzaku That doesn’t mean you have to resort to robbing!

Robber Shut up! We have the Black Knights backing us up, you know!

Suzaku What?

Lelouch “Oh really? The Black Knights huh…”

Kallen gets all defensive.

Kallen Stop lying. The Black Knights are different from people like you!

Robber What?!

He hits Kallen.

Lelouch gets up.

Lelouch walks towards the robber.

Lelouch Silence! I’m the one giving orders around here.

Robber Stay back! I’ll shoot the girl if you get any closer!

Lelouch continues to walk.

Lelouch Do as you want, please. That girl isn’t my lover or anything.

Kallen is surprised and can’t believe what he said.

Kallen What…? Lelouch…

Lelouch stops.

Lelouch There are three reasons why you two are going to fail.

The sound of the timer counting down… You can hear it, the sound that carves time.

The ticking can be heard.

Robber It can’t be… I can… I can really hear the bomb!

Kallen What…? But I can’t hear anything…

Robber Stop! Stay away from me!!

Lelouch Come. There’s 10 seconds before it reaches zero.

Robber Stop! Stop it! I don’t want to die!!

Lelouch 3… 2… 1…

Suzaku slips in and knocks the robber out much to Kallen’s surprise.

Suzaku Are you alright, Kallen?

Kallen Ye- Yeah… Suzaku… When did you sneak in behind him?

Suzaku Lelouch drew his attention away so it was simple. Can you stand?

Kallen Than-

A gunshot is heard.

Boss I ordered you not to move.

Lelouch Oh? You’re pretty fast. You’re returned earlier than I had calculated.

Boss Shut up! Don’t you see I’m holding a rifle?

Suzaku Surrender. If you do it now, your punishment can still be lightened.

Kallen Suzaku, it won’t get through to him.

Suzaku Don’t worry. Leave it to me.

Suzaku starts walking towards the boss.

Now, throw away your gun!

Boss Stop right there!

Suzaku It’s no use to do that.

Boss Looks like you won’t understand if there aren’t any deaths. Take this!

The boss shoots but Suzaku dodges and rushes in at high speed.

Kallen He dodged the bullet!

Suzaku knocks down the boss.

Suzaku I am Suzaku Kururugi, a Warrant Officer of the Britannia. I hereby restrain you for robbery and attempted murder.

Boss This… This can’t be happening…

Suzaku I’m not afraid of guns when there are no hostages.

Lelouch Hmph. The third reason is Suzaku Kururugi is right here.

Sirens are heard.

Kallen Ummm… Thanks for saving me.

Suzaku You did well. I can’t believe you spoke back to the robbers…

Lelouch Even though you’re just a weak young lady.

Kallen Huh? Oh, I was just… Er, that is…

Suzaku Kallen, are you alright?

Lelouch We should be asking if you’re alright. It was too reckless of you going up against people with guns.

Suzaku You too, Lelouch… Bluffing like that was too dangerous. If I hadn’t sneaked in, what were you going to do?

Kallen Huh? You two didn’t have it all planned?

Lelouch Not at all.

Suzaku Lelouch made his own moves.

Kallen And you still managed to overcome them…

Lelouch You were there after all, Suzaku.

Suzaku replies sarcastically.

Suzaku Thanks for thinking I’m such a reliable person. But you were wrong about the third reason.

Lelouch I was?

Suzaku Yes. It wasn’t because I was there. It was because were both there right? Lelouch.

Track 2 – Code Geass YamaYama of the Rebellion Deluxe Special

The two Seiyuus behind Lelouch and Rivalz, Jun Fukuyama and Noriaki Sugiyama are taking part in this special in a recording room. Just as they are making fun of there own characters, Lelouch breaks into the recording room. He is not happy about them ruining his image. The two Seiyuus don’t know who he is until they learn he used his left eye. Lelouch uses his Geass, ordering them to go reflect on their “sin” and takes over the show to redeem his image.

Lelouch calls in Rivalz who looks over at the two “sinners” and admires Sugiyama who plays his role. On the other hand, he doesn’t think too much of Fukuyama.

Lelouch:“Rivalz, hurry up and sit down over here.”

Rivalz:“Ah right.”

Sits down and gets hit by Lelouch.

Rivalz:“Hey! What did you do that for?”

Lelouch:“I don’t know why but… I suddenly got really annoyed.”

Rivalz:“What is wrong with you?”

Lelouch:“Hurry up and put us on air.”

Rivalz:“Why me?”

Lelouch:“I don’t know how to operate a radio show.”

The show begins.

Track 3 – Code Geass YamaYama of the Rebellion Deluxe Special

And so, the “YamaYama” show begins.

Lelouch:“Wait! What is this “YamaYama”? I don’t understand the reason behind it.”

Rivalz:“Well you see, I think they’re putting the “Yama” in Fukuyama and Sugiyama’s names together to come up with “YamaYama”.

Lelouch:“Then we must change the title. We don’t have the characters “Yama” in either of our names.”

Rivalz:“Then what shall we do with it?”

Lelouch:“Hmmm, yes. We both have a “ru” in our names, the “ru” in Lelouch and the “ru” in your name “Karudemondo” so we’ll call it the “Rebellion of Lulu”.

Rivalz:“Ugh… You don’t have any taste in naming do you?”

The two goes onto introducing themselves and then starts reading out a fan letter that begins with “To the one named Yama”. Lelouch interrupts because he finds the addressing strange. Rivalz explains it’s just a pen name and continues. The letter asks about how to keep a room clean. Rivalz passes the question over to Lelouch since his room is so clean.

Lelouch:“Ah yes, if I have any litter I clean it out immediately. After using anything, I put them back in place otherwise I don’t feel right.”

Rivalz:“So your room is always super clean and tidy?”

Lelouch:“No, my room hasn’t been like that lately really.”

Rivalz:“Huh? Why?”

Lelouch:“There’s a messysomeonein my room.”

Rivalz:“Who? Nunnally?”

Lelouch:“No, not Nunnally. This someone messes around with my textbooks, uses stuff without my permission then leaves them lying around. Thanks to this someone I just can’t clean up my room anymore. And, this someone gives me the look as if I should be the one doing the tidying up afterwards! Just thinking about it annoys me…!”

Rivalz talks about a ghost in Area 11 but Lelouch says the someone isn’t as fun as that. The “someone” is just destitute. Just then the phone rings.

Rivalz:“Hey, a call.”

Lelouch picks up his phone.

Lelouch:“It’s me.”

Rivalz:“Hey, we’re in the middle of a programme here you know…”

Lelouch:“C.C.?! You were listening?!”

Rivalz:“Looks like we’ve just had an accident on our live show!”

Lelouch:“Silence! What’s wrong with telling them the truth!”

He hangs up. Rivalz try to ask who it was but Lelouch ignores it and decides to move on.

End of Track 3

Track 4 – Ashford Academy, The Boys Changing Room

Lelouch and Rivalz goes into a corner of the school where students can shout out their secrets and anything that annoys them into a locker. Lelouch thinks it would be a good idea to hide a listening device to gather information. Rivalz stops him.

After releasing all his woes into the locker which including how he doesn’t want to join an event with primary school kids again or be called the “leader of justice”, Lelouch wants to take the locker home. But once again Rivalz stops him because it belongs to everyone. Just then, Lelouch’s phone rings again.

Lelouch:“You’re annoying me.”

Rivalz:“Oooo, sounds like a girl’s voice!”

Lelouch:“The shouts have nothing to do with me!”

Rivalz:“Getting pretty emotional aren’t we?”

Lelouch:“Shut up! Go eat your pizza or something!”

He hangs up. Rivalz teases him about picking up the phone all the time during work. Lelouch tells him the call demands that they stop their stupid shouting activity. Rivalz isn’t happy to hear that and is annoyed at the girl who called. He starts pretending to be having a conversation with the “mystery” girl.

Rivalz:“So, why do you have such a rebellious personality? Oh, because you’re a friend of Lelouch’s huh! Ah, I seeeeee now!”

Phone rings but it’s an e-mail for Rivalz.

Rivalz:“Hey, a message for me! Lets see… I will make Rivalz pay for insulting me… What the-!!”

End of Track Four

Track 5 – Ashford Academy

The show ends and Rivals and Lelouch reminds fans that they can listen to the Code Geass YamaYama DX show every Saturday from 2:30AM on Bunka Radio or Kansai Radio, JOQR.

Audio Drama Stage 0.916 "The Black King" (Takes place just before the anime series starts and before Lelouch and Rivalz are friends.) You can listen to this drama in english dub right here

The audio drama begins as Rivalz Cardemonde is losing a Chess match against a noble. Rivalz explains that he felt confident he could beat the nobleman as he works part-time in a gambling den and has often filled in as a chess player for his manager. However, the nobleman has proven to be a much more skilled opponent than he expected and Rivalz gets more and more concerned that he might lose the game because he doesn't have the money to pay off the bet that he made. The nobleman seeks to taunt Rivalz further and tells him that if the game is turned around he will crawl around the table three times and bark like a dog. Lelouch overhears this and decides that it would be interesting to see and he takes over for Rivalz. Rivalz doesn't know Lelouch but notices he is from Ashford Academy as well; he tells him it's not a game for students but Lelouch notices he is a student as well; Lelouch also mentions he knows who Rivalz is, where Rivalz comes from (California) and how he even knows he took his mother maiden name, Cardemonde, because he is in bad term with his father; We then discover Lelouch has collected information from all the Ashford students. Lelouch sits down and surprises everyone by moving the black king first. Lelouch's trademark move causes Rivalz to lose all confidence in Lelouch. However, Lelouch gets a pen and paper and proceeds to write something down before handing the paper back to Rivalz.

A few moments later, Lelouch calls checkmate and the nobleman can't believe it. He asks Rivalz to read the paper he gave him and it is discovered that Lelouch had already predicted every single move that he and his opponent would make. Lelouch takes half of the winnings and when Rivalz asks why Lelouch saved him he says that he really just wanted to see the nobleman bark because he doesn't like people who confuse their ranks with their abilities.. Rivalz offers Lelouch a ride on his bike but Lelouch refuses on the grounds that he doesn't want to hang onto some guys back. At this point, Rivalz decides to buy a sidecar he saw a few days before since he now has the money and so that he'll be able to ride around with Lelouch.

Audio Drama Stage 0.884 " The imperial siblings" (Takes place after the Second Pacific War and a few years before the Black Rebellion.) You can listen to this Drama in english dub right here

Schneizel el Britannia and Cornelia li Britannia are sitting together and talking about Euphemia li Britannia. Euphie is getting close to turning 13 and Schneizel flatters both her and Cornelia. He comments on how he expected Cornelia to stay in Area 14 as Viceroy but she doesn't see the point since it's been pacified. She doesn't seem to care about politics and only wants to crush her enemies. Schneizel cautions her and says that you should always leave your opponents with a little will to live so that they remain productive.

Euphemia rushes over and interrupts them by saying that she would make a country a place for everyone to live happily if she were to be a viceroy. At that Schneizel tells Cornelia that he wants to recommend her to become the next Viceroy of Area 11. Cornelia doesn't want to do it so they think about sending Clovis la Britannia who just happens to walk in at that moment to welcome Cornelia who just returned from Area 14.

Clovis tries to be cordial but Cornelia wont take much part in it. Clovis brings Marianne vi Britannia on the table and they start talking about Lelouch and Nunnally and how they regret they wouldn't save them. Clovis then states that he officially requested to go be Viceroy of Area 11; When Schneizel asks him why since he dislikes this kind of work, Clovis mentions his record when it comes to his chess matches with Lelouch and how he couldn't beat him in the end; He was seemingly going to a tie with him once but the game was interrupted so he never really won. Euphemia then pipes in and says that Lelouch once sent her a letter that vaguely detailed the friendship he had formed with Suzaku Kururugi. Because he knows that lelouch had a japanese friend, Clovis think about showing less harshness to the elevens but Cornelia reminds him their job is to subdue them, idea supported by Schneizel; Clovis then walks out telling them to watch how he'll do and about how since it's Lelouch's final resting place he wants it to be as quiet as can be.

Audio Drama Stage 21.534 "The Final invitation" (Takes place shortly before the Special Administrative Zone Massacre.)

Suzaku starts reminiscing to Lelouch about the summer days of their childhood. Nunnally asks if the nostalgia has come from Suzaku talking to Euphemia about the past. The three of them then start talking about Marianne vi Britannia and the sibling's time as royalty. Marianne apparently got into a fight with thirty other empresses. Before they can talk more, Sayoko Shinozaki comes in to get Nunnally for a medical appointment. She is at first hesitant to go but with a prompt from Suzaku she decides to leave with Sayoko.

The two guys continue talking and Suzaku asks Lelouch if he thinks they could ever team up again like they did in the past. Specifically he wants Lelouch's help with the Special Administrative Zone of Japan. Lelouch denies his request claiming that now he can distinguish between fantasy and reality. Suzaku remarks that even though they have both changed so much their friendship hasn't changed. On that line Lelouch warns Suzaku to not get involved with the SAZ. They start a heated conversation about what should and should not be done with their lives. Lelouch continues to refuse Suzaku's request for help but promises that he wont forget. Lelouch then invites Suzaku to leave.

It closes with Lelouch commenting on how that was the last time they would ever talk as just friends. With resolution Lelouch confirms that no matter what, they can never return to those summer days.

And that's about it for CD Drama for season 1 ; Hope that if you didn't knew those, you learnt some interesting stuff, personally I really like most of them (if not all) and I pity the fact that CD drama for R2 (which will be posted after this final CD Drama for S1 is online) are mostly crack, although some are funny, it's just a waste of time while it could have been used for meaningful devellopment or information. Well Maybe you'll enjoy those anyway, but the realm of Canon Sound Drama officially ends with the Final invitation (even though 2 tracks of the R2 sound drama could be canon but don't bring much meaningful information.) My Own thoughts :I wanted to add that I loved them, all of them, but especially the ones expanding on Lelouch, Suzaku and Nunnally's childhood. I think an extra episode about their past within the anime wouldn't have been a luxury. I also have a soft spot for the one where Lelouch met Rivalz and Milly. Hope you enjoyed.

Milly Ashford starts reflecting on the first time she met Lelouch vi Britannia and Nunnally vi Britannia. After exchanging a brief greeting Milly offers to show Lelouch around the campus of Ashford Academy, as her grandfather told her he was the child of someone he owed a great favor. He asks her to get on with it as he does not want to waste his time. Milly is strangely compassionate and tries to make Lelouch feel less nervous by telling him she is only one year older than him, much to Lelouch's surprise; Milly admits she is pretty well devellopped and shows off a bit, telling him he doesn't have to look away and can ogle as it wouldn't cause any harm; When some wind blows and seemingly raise her outfit a bit, she asks him if he ogled her to which he replies by quoting her "it didn't harm you right ?"

Lelouch doesn't care about knowing basic stuff about the school but ask about the facilities and the layout of the building, stuff that matters to him is kept private. Milly, who thinks of herself as someone patient, tries to stay calm even though he keeps on getting straight to the point and doesn't facilitate communication. Milly then concludes he doesn't have any friends to which Lelouch tells her it's none of her concern; He then proceeds to list what are the issues for Nunnally's weelchair (without mentionning either Nunnally of the weelchair), as there are no ramp andplenty of stairs; Milly then decides to get to the point and be done with it and tells him about most of the school stuff before telling him the students sleep in dorms, Lelouch is pissed as he didn't knew about that; He then asks how he can get into the girl's dorms giving Milly the wrong idea, obviously, and concludes he is just hitting puberty; Lelouch then turns around and decides he won't come to this school anyway, Milly tries to hold him back but he shuts her off, finally driving Milly to her edge, wondering what kind of family raises such a shitty brat; Lelouch then shouts she probably know and should stop pretending; Nunally suddenly arrives and Lelouch lose his bad temper; Milly finally understands why Lelouch was angry about the whole setting and sighs before pitying Nunally for having such a stubborn big brother, as he should have explained to her from the beginning.

Milly then promise to take care of it all and if Lelouch acan't trust her, they can make a bet out if it and if she loses, he can have his way with her. Milly then take a hold of Nunnally's wheelchair with her agrrement and take them to the clubhouse, as Lelouch eventually thank her.

Milly then concludes that even though Lelouch is now taller than her, his pompous attitude and kindness to Nunally didn't change one bit since those days;

Audio Drama Stage 5.831 "Orange peel" (Happens after the Orange nickname mess) You can listen to this Drama in english dub right here

It begins with Villetta Nu reaching to Cecile Croomy to thank her for the intervention of the Lancelot in the Orange mess, because it saved Jeremiah's life. Cecile is all surprised when she learns even Jeremiah is thankful of her cause she didn't thought he'd be the kind to be grateful; Villetta then starts talking about the type of person Jeremiah is and asks Cecile what her superior, Lloyd Asplund, is like. It turns out they are pretty similar. Both have privileged upbringings, are self-centered, only care how they feel about things, leave tedious tasks for their subordinates, think they’re always right, and change their opinions on a daily basis.

The girls continue to talk while we switch to Jeremiah who enters the lab, commenting it, when Lloyd suddenly burst in and salute Jeremiah, who gets upset as he didn't expect that. A little back story is provided by Jeremiah as he explains that he and Lloyd attended high school together and were even in the same dormitory. Lloyd feigns ignorance as Jeremiah was a monitor at the time that was in charge of keeping things orderly. Lloyd hasn’t changed a bit since that time as he caused five separate explosions, put several people in the hospital, and caused several more to fall through the floor all due to experiments he had been performing. Since Jeremiah was the monitor he took all the blame and still holds a real grudge for it. Lloyd claims they are even since his Lancelot ended up saving Jeremiah, taunting Jeremiah about the fact he should thank him and they'd be done with it;

Villeta and Cecile then join the two guys and Cecile requests that Jeremiah offer his gratitude to Suzaku Kururugi as well, since he is the one who insisted on going to his help. Jeremiah is really reluctant about humbling himself before an eleven, as he is a pure blood but Villeta stokes his pride a little about how the code of knighthood asks for him to recognize bravery; He eventually agrees to do it. Unfortunately before he can go and thank Suzaku, Guilford walks in and arrests Jeremiah.

Audio Drama Stage Stage 0.543 "The end of an happy Summer" (Takes place approximately 7 years before the Black Rebellion and just as the Invasion of Japan begins.) You can listen to this Drama in english dub right here

The drama begins with Lelouch and Suzaku plotting; The boys have gone out and have set up a plan to escape from the security police that are watching over them. Lelouch has come up with the plan and rigged some fireworks and even a smoke screen to go off on his command while Suzaku is in charge of the getaway. After the diversions are set off, the two kids dash towards a car carrying a little bird that had been attacked by a big bird. The bird couldn't fly anymore so they want to bring it back to it's nest. Suzaku takes the wheel and drive away; He is going super fast but is doing a great job of controlling the car, he seemingly learnt while playing video games; They only have 10 minutes to pass the post office so even if Leliouch freaks out, they can't stop. (Lelouch yells "Nunnally !)

They finally make it to the nest and everything seems to be going well. Lelouch has a hard time climbing but when he finally gets to the top they both stop to congratulate themselves on their successful getaway. and how they outsmarted the adults; Lelouch was super smart and Suzaku was reckless so they make a good team.

A while passes and Suzaku tells Lelouch that when they work together there is nothing in the world they can't do; Lelouch mock that but says he'd like it to be true before asking Suzaku if he plans to be a prime minister like his father, to which Suzaku replies he'll be if Lelouch becomes emperor. Lelouch tells him it's impossible since he lost his claim but Suzaku tells him he will help him because there is nothing they can't do to if they are together. At that moment an explosion is heard off in the distance. They move to get a better look at what is happening. This is when they witness the Invasion of Japan and the end of their happy times together. *That's the scene from the beginning of the anime*

Audio Drama Stage 6.113 "The name of the King" (Takes place shortly after Arthur is recovered by Suzaku and Lelouch, after the cat chase episode)

It starts as Suzaku asks Euphemia, in a flash back, how the cat got hurt. Euphemia talks to the cat and says that the cat told her that it had a bad landing and hurt its paw. She then names him Arthur.

Later on, after the cat has been rescued, Suzaku ponders about telling Euphemia that the cat they saved earlier is now in the student council room and everyone is deliberating on what to call it. Shirley, Rivalz , Nina, and Kallen all suggest different names; Kallen seems to think that all cats should have the name Tama. Deliberations continue and when Lelouch is asked what he thinks they should call it, he says that his vote is that they don't have a cat because it will end up being his responsibility to take care of. He is quickly shot down. Milly Ashford then starts prying into Suzaku's personal life and assumes that Suzaku has a girlfriend. He denies this, but no one really believes him.

Lelouch takes Suzaku aside and admonishes him for being so gullible. They chat for a while and Suzaku reveals that the cat already has a name; Arthur. Nunnally rolls in and starts talking to the cat in the same way that Euphemia did. To everyone's surprise, Nunnally reveals that she has known Arthur for a long time. This is especially shocking to Suzaku as Nunally has somehow managed to name the cat the same way that Euphemia did. He eventually decides that it simply proves that Euphemia and Nunnally really are sisters. Finally, Arthur bites Suzaku, as is customary.

Audio Drama Stage 15.631 " A Woman's battle" (Takes place after the Mao incident, before he came back and kidnapped Nunnally) You can listen to this drama in english dub right here

It begins as Kallen and Tamaki get into an old car in order to go and do some errands. The two take off as Tamaki continues to complain about having to do so much. Kallen begins to explain the plan for the day when suddenly C.C. interrupts and asks if they can stop at a pizza place. Kallen begins to agree and then realizes that she and Tamaki are not alone.

Tamaki begins to freak out and ask why she is here. C.C. bluntly explains that she was in the car before the two of them got in and thus it is not her fault that they didn't notice her. Kallen nearly gets in a crash as she tries to reprimand C.C. ; After the near miss, Kallen begrudgingly accepts that C.C. is going to tag along but refuses to go and get pizza.as they are working; C.C. remarks that Kallen needs to be more careful or she will kill the two of them (Tamaki and Kallen). Kallen replies that she would also take C.C. with her if that were to happen, to which C.C. then wryly asks if she really thinks that she could kill her.

Tamaki then changes the topic and asks if C.C. is Zero's mistress; This causes Kallen a great amount of distress and she swerves on the road; Kallen is further distressed to hear C.C. state that her relationship with Zero is contractual. Tamaki makes a vulgar joke and C.C. decides that she has heard enough before kicking him out of the car while it is still moving. Kallen momentarily contemplates stopping for him but gets over it.

The girls then try to have a nice chat on the drive when Kallen states that regardless of how Zero really looks her feelings will remain the same. C.C. asks if she is in love with Zero and this causes Kallen to swerve again. Kallen then retorts back and asks if C.C. loves Zero while refraining to ask if else it's only a carnal affair; C.C. responds that she is his accomplice, but Kallen retorts they all are his accomplices to which C.C. states the she is an accomplice to the very man that is Zero behind the mask but even though she is the closest to Zero amongst the Black Knights, there is still another woman that is even closer to him. She also remarks that he would never involve this person and that C.C. is not even on the same league as her. She continues to say how much she likes contracts instead of friendships, as they are clear and direct in what you get, and Kallen remarks on how lonely that must be; As C.C. mumbles about true loneliness, Kallen tries to say something but C.C. put an end to the subject and ask her to forget about it so in return, she won't tell Kallen is crushing on Zero, leading Kallen to panic leading them into a car crash.

Later that day, C.C. returns to Lelouch who knows she's been hanging out to Kallen; C.C. asks him if he was worried about Kallen, to which he replies not really, leading C.C. to show a bit of compassion toward Kallen; She then tells him they spoke about him and his identity; As he tried to learn more about that, she tells him she can't reveal the content of their conversation, as it was a contract between two woman.

Audio Drama Stage 0.533 "The first friend" (Happens during Lelouch's childhood, before the invasion of Japan) You can listen to the drama in english dub right here

Lelouch, Suzaku, and Nunnally are playing the board game Suguroku. Lelouch and Suzaku playfully argue while Nunnally contemplates the strangeness of Lelouch actually having a friend; Lelouch starts getting bored with the game because it is all luck and you don't have to use your brain in it at all. He asks Suzaku if they can play the Japanese version of chess called Shogi, he wants to learn that; Suzaku hates complicated games like that and Lelouch calls him stupid so Suzaku starts tickling him.

Nunnally then comes to think about how she ran away so that she wouldn't have to marry Genbu Kururugi because she was afraid; She feels like the concern they both shared forher that day is a big reason why the two have grown close together and are probably each other's very first first friend, before deciding that their friendship is probably for the best because now Suzaku visits them all the time, eats with them, even sleep with them

Suzaku suddenly asks Lelouch how he managed to cancel the Nunally wedding, to which Lelouch replies he gave Genbu something of value to Genbu, but not to them,and which wasn't physical His words comfort Nunnally and she thinks about how she can trust him more than anyone, as he is always there for her. Suzaku eventually proposes that they go into town because there is some kind of attraction that simulates an earthquake; Lelouch doesn't know what it is and while he wants to go he is reluctant about leaving Nunally, but she tells them to go; Suzaku then tells Nunnally they will bring her back a souvenir; As they leave while bickering, Nunnally feels a little lonely but is also glad that Lelouch has someone he can relate with even if Suzaku better bring Lelouch back to her in the end.

Audio Drama Stage 11.351 " The girl in the straightjacket" (Happens right after the Narita battle, before C.C. sports her loely lolita outfit) You can listen to the drama in english dub right here

It begins as Lelouch walks home with C.C. welcoming him shortly after she has finished repairing her white straightjacket that had been damaged due to the Battle of Narita; As Lelouch question her motivation to wear that, C.C. blames him for not congratulating him on her household abilities. Lelouch then pressures her to use his money to buy more clothes or else he'll make sure no pizza deliveries come around anymore; C.C. blames him for trying to pressure her as she ate too many pizza and can't possibly go buy new clothes after that; She doesn't really want to do so, but Lelouch says that if someone walked in and saw her in his room wearing a straightjacket they might think he was keeping her prisoner.

Just as they are discussing how he could explain keeping a girl in his room at all, Nunnally comes in. ; C.C. greets Nunnally who is happy to meet her again and wants to take tea together but C.C. then mentions she and Lelouch are having an intimate discussion so Nunnally chose to go to her room to leave them some intimacy before biding C.C. goodbye;

After Nunnally leaves, C.C. notices how she seems to have the wrong idea about them, something Lelouch blame her as she encourages that; Lelouch questions C.C. as to why she continues to wear those clothes, making guesses as maybe she keevs those as a charm or maybe she just like weird stuff like that; She responds by saying it is a symbol of her captivity as she believes that she is a prisoner in this world. Lelouch then proceeds to go online and order her new clothes. He doesn't care about her taste, and he reminds her that is she isn't free she just has to fight for her freedom or nothing will change; They talk some more and C.C. realizes that Lelouch is in a sense a prisoner to the Ashford family and of the Kururugi family before that.. He vows to one day break out of the birdcage that holds him down. ; C.C. then thoughtfully remarks how Lelouch can be so weak at one moment and then so strong the next. Lelouch finishes the purchase online and C.C. seems to like the clothes that he has picked out for her, telling him he should get those as it's a great joy for a man to see a girl wearing clothes he bough; Lelouch give a deep sigh, and questions why she always has to act like that to which C.C. replies her signature reply "Because i'm C.C."

Audio Drama Stage 15.447 "Playing Strangers" (Takes place after Lelouch used his Geass on Shirley and removed her memories of him.)

The drama happens at Ashford Academy, as Shirley is talking to Lelouch and assigning him a few tasks before she heads out of the place; Since they are still playing pretend they don't know each other for everyone, Milly intervenes and encourages Lelouch to go and make up as but this lead him to get up and leave as well.

Rivalz then comments that they are really into the playing strangers thing, and that it must be a pretty serious argument for them to act this way. He then manage to suggest Milly and him should try and play pretend as well to see if that's fun; After some hesitance, Milly joins in; As they pretend to meet and get to know each other for the first time, Milly mentions her favorite color is rainbow so that she isn't confined to just one color and can love them all; Rivalz, who is totally into the game, compliment her on how much of a natural she is playing this game;

Because of this, Rivalz get bolder and as he is about to confess his love to Milly... Kallen bursts in to feed Arthur. After that, Kallen feigns being sick so that she can leave while avoiding questions and Rivalz tries another time to confess when... Suzaku bursts in as well. To feed the cat just like Kallen did before. As Suzaku eventually leaves, it is revealed that Nina has been there the whole time, unnoticed. Two more failed attempts latter, the game is done and Rivalz didn't managed to tell Milly how he feels. Milly thanks Rivalz for the fun and the memories and back to her job as president, she begins assigning him a bunch of work to do.

Audio Drama Stage 0.518: The Song of the Secret Base ( Takes place shortly after Nunnally goes missing during Lelouch's childhood, before the beginning of the show) You can listen to the drama in english dub right here

Suzaku vehemently declares that he will do what he wants to do and save who he wants to save with or without anyone's permission. Lelouch vi Britannia argues that it is his duty and right to look for and after Nunnally and refuses help from anyone. Suzaku calls him arrogant and bolts off into the forest to look for Nunnally as Lelouch muses about how he should be thankful to him anyway;

As Lelouch searches and searches for Nunally, he thinks she couldn't have gotten too far given her legs are weak but his desperation grows as he continues his own search through the forest. Eventually he stumbles upon a womandressed in a sunflower kimino, sitting with her back facing him. It's C.C.. He doesn't get a good look at her face but asks her if she has seen Nunnally; C.C. dryly informs him that such a girl has not come through this part of the forest. As Lelouch starts to wonder who this woman really is as she isn't from the temple and could be anything from a lost sould to an assassin, C.C. informs him that she is not his enemy and is just here as she was asked to keep an eye on things. Lelouch doesn't understand and asks her who she is but it begins to rain, leaing Lelouch to freak out at the thought Nunally will end up soaked, so he has to be fast; As he returnes his attention to the woman, he notices she vanished, in just a short moment.

Off in the distance Lelouch hears Nunnally's voice and he sprints off after her. He hears her laughing, noticing how she hadn't laughed since her mother died and runs harder to find her with Suzaku in some kind of underground fort that Suzaku had created. It turns out that Nunnally had fallen into the hole and gotten knocked out. Fortunately Suzaku keeps this hidden base of his stocked with food and weapons. As Lelouch questions Nunnally's laugh she says it's because of Suzaku, and Suzaku takes his chance to tell Lelouch he is too serious and he never laughs, leading the prince to realize he also stopped laughing. Nunnally then invites Lelouch to enter the base while he realizes that Suzaku has beaten him, as he found Nunnally before him and even made her laugh. Suzaku suddenly begins to apologizes to Lelouch for hitting him when they first met and explain how wrong he was about Lelouch and how strong he empathizes about everything he went trhough with his family and how admirable he is for taking care of Nunnally. Of course Suzaku starts crying claming how amazing lelouh is even through he isn't a prince anymore, to which Nunnally fully agrees. Suzaku then drags Lelouch into the base and they spend the rest of the day huddled in the base and away from the rain outside. Lelouch then ponders how it was the beginning of something happy for the three of them and how they didn't even noticed the rain stopped, as they were all hidding in that secret base.

Audio Drama Stage 9.258 " We can't tell Lelouch" ( Happens right after the Refrain episode) You can listen to the drama in english dub right here

It begins as Shirley, Kallen, Nina, Milly, and Rivalz are all vaguely talking about something that seems rather important and distressful. At that moment, Lelouch walks in, talking about future events and him being totally against the cross dressing festival when he notices everyone is strangely quiet. Lelouch asks if something is wrong and everyone's response implies that there is an issue but no one is willing to divulge it, as they all try to pass the responsability to the other, everything culminating with Kallen feigning a cough to avoid having to tbe the one to speak. Lelouch is immediately suspicious and starts to mentally analyze the situation as the other wonders if they should go straight about that and tell him the whole truth; He begins to freak out and suspects that they might have discovered his alter-ego; Meanwhile, the others continue debating on how to talk to him about the mysterious problem.

Kallen's and Lelouch's eyes meet for a moment and they all go silent yet again as Lelouch tries to reassure himself about the fact he settled her doubts in the shower room, and how even if she knew, she'd never sell out Zero. Instead of taking the opportunity to talk to Lelouch, Kallen backs down and Lelouch continues to mentally freak out as everyone keeps trying to push the other to speak. Lelouch then tries to get more information out of them and asks Milly if they have decided on a new project; She responds that they have not and that leaves Lelouch even more concerned. He continues to evaluate the situation while the others scold Milly for not using that opportunity to tell Lelouch.

Lelouch decides to next ask Shirley and the others if they have seen C.C. around campus as he saw a girl not dressed in a student uninform around there and was wondering if anyone knew her. Shirley then misses her opportunity to talk to Lelouch and simply says that she has not. This makes Lelouch slightly more confident that they have not discovered his identity as Zero.

The same situation continues a little longer as Lelouch fruitlessly tries to pry out more information by tellng them fake jokes before going back to his overanalyzing as the others try to find the right moment and the right person to say it; Unfortunately, neither party makes much progress and Lelouch is just about to use his Geass on them in order to stop any suspicions as Nina is about t tell him when Suzaku finally arrives. He bluntly states that Lelouch has rice stuck to the corners of his mouth, freeing the other of the burden to tell him, as it was apparently the whole issue they were freaking about; They end up applauding him and his innocence as thanks to that, lelouch can't get angry for knowing. Lelouch grows embarrassed and claims he put the rice there on purpose.

Audio Drama Stage 14.821 "Brown anguish" (takes place after Ohgi rescues the wounded Villetta Nu) You can listen to the drama in english dub right here

It begins with Ohgi ruminating on what to do in his present circumstance and pondering on recent events. He expresses his relief that Zero took over his group of terrorists and, while speaking to Naoto, the previous leader of the resistance and Kallen's dead big brother, explains that a woman in soaking wet clothes is currently sleeping in his bed. He comically states that he cleaned the place up three days ago and even changed the sheets so it's fine. Villeta is heard in the background saying Zero's name as Ohgi analyzes her and notices that she has the callouses of a Knightmare Frame pilot. Ohgi gets a little carried away thinking about her supple body and comments on how he has never taken a woman's clothes off before.

At that moment he is startled by the ring of his telephone. Kallen is on the other line and simply wants to say that she wishes the Black Knights uniforms were cleaned more often. The reason being that even when they are working in the warehouse they get sweaty and the clothes stay that way until washed after a mission. Ohgi takes this as a sign that he needs to get Villeta out of her wet clothes. He then asks Kallen what article of clothing she takes off first when she takes out her clothes, but realizes how weird that is and tries to correct himself by asking how she takes them off. Which is pretty much just as awkward. He finally asks how she would want someone else to take her clothes off and Kallen hangs up.

As Ohgi debates on how to fix things with Kallen, Tamaki calls instead. He is in the bar under Ohgi's house with all of the new recruits and is kind of drunk. He reprimands Tamaki but then asks him how to take off a woman's clothes as he expects Tamaki to have experience. Tamaki suggests stroking the right places and a girl's laughter is heard in the background. This doesn't seem to help Ohgi at all.

Next, Zero calls and says that Kallen had just called him and told him that something was wrong with Ohgi. Lelouch misunderstands as well and tell him he is sending troops to rescue Ohgi. Ohgi has to hang up when Tamaki begins pounding on his door trying to get him to come out. Ohgi quickly makes Tamaki leave and turns his attention back to Villeta, he has to take off her clothes or she'll fall ill and he also has to treat her wounds;

Ohgi decides to close his eyes and then fumbles around, pondering at why he is doing that, taking care of a britannian in secret, cause it feels like a betrayal to his friends; He haphazardly removes her clothing only to get stuck on the trickiest part of all; Unhooking the bra.

Audio Drama Stage 0.521 "Nunnally Vanished" (Takes place seven years before the Black Rebellion and shortly before the Invasion of Japan.) You can listen to the drama in english dub right here

It begins as Suzaku Kururugi gives a monologue about how fter a month of being there, Lelouch continues to do things on his own, and refuses to accept help from anyone, even if it means that he gets beaten up by japanese boys while going shopping for groceries in town. Out of habit Suzaku has walked to the storehouse and stumbles upon Nunnally who knows someone is there. Suzaku declares who he is and Nunnally seems to believe that Suzaku will hurt her as well, like he hurt her brother. She stays brave and says that even though she can't fight back, he can never hurt her heart.

Lelouch suddenly arrives and accuses Suzaku of trying to hurt Nunnally while he was away, as expected from a japanese; Suzaku denies it angrily and calls Lelouch a Brittanian thief. Lelouch cynically repeats it and when Suzaku asks him if he denies it, he telles him he agrees that Britannians are thieves because they use their military might to take what they want from others. He then compares Japan to Britannia and states that they are pretty similar as their political tactics haven't been pretty moral either. Suzaku is about to hit Lelouch again, driven by his hate for the boy when the same defiant look on Lelouch's face stops him, as he angrily muses about how despite him being smart he doesn't have to this arrogant as in the end he is just a kid and an hostage.

The scene then switches to Genbu Kururugi, Suzaku's father, talking with Taizō Kirihara about various political things, like Genbu future elections; Suzaku mentions how rich Kirihara is and how usual it was for important people to come at their home. Suzaku is sitting in and he overhears that his father is planning on marrying Nunnally for political reasons. Suzaku is surprised as Nunnally is crippled but Genbu reminds him although it's a marriage it's mainly political; Kirihara insist that someone from the head of japanese has to marry a britannian royalty because of the symbol it would be for both nations. Suzaku then volunteers to marry her but is shot down by his father as he states that Suzaku's bride is already chosen ans that he is only here to learn things, he can't get involved in their decisions.

After the talk, Suzaku runs to the storehouse to tell Lelouch about what he had just heard, wondering why he wants to do so, as he shoudl'nt care about this political meddling, before entreing in the storehouse anyway to discover that Lelouch and Nunnally are missing. He searches all over the temple and eventually finds Nunally's wheelchair on the steps up to the shrine. Lelouch, then bursts out of the forest, seemingly looking for Nunnally; Suzaku notices he has clearly been crying, and his expression is totally different from the one he usually wears; Suzaku then offers him to search with him but lelouch refuses, claiming he doesn't want any help especially from a japanese who hates britannians, and anyway that will only get him into trouble; It only concerns Nunally and him, as it's a britannian matter, which leads Suzaku to explode; He yells it's not about being britannian or japanese and that he simply wants to search for her of his own will, leaving Lelouch startled as Suzaku claim he is a proud son of japan and doesn't need any reason to save whoever he wants to save.

Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion Sound Episode 1 // Canon

Alas R2 tracks are mostly crack material, relating situations with characters who either never met, or were enemies during the time being (aside from not being physically at the same place) and fall into the end of Alternate universe crackish stories, so not canon to the anime. ; The First sound episode of R2 and the last might be canon, as their settings and situations make sense within the show though; Also, character songs are canon material, both in S1 sound episode and R2 sound episode. I'll precise for each one about their status anyway so let's start with the first CD drama of season 1

Audio Drama Stage 9.725 " The night before the showdown" (Before the Battle of Narita) You can listen to this drama in english dub right there

It begins as Lelouch vi Britannia is explaining some of the preparations he has made for the upcoming battle, to C.C.. Suddenly Suzaku Kururugi knocks on the door and Lelouch quickly shoves C.C. under the bed, much to her annoyance. Suzaku then enters the room and Lelouch admonishes him for barging in like he did. The conversation then begins to drift towards the time when they were both living at the Kururugi Shrine. Eventually Lelouch remarks that Suzaku has significantly changed and became less selfish since that time. Suzaku counters and says that Lelouch has become more rough than he used to be. Suzaku also discovers one of C.C.'s long hairs in Lelouch's room and assumes that he has a girlfriend. Suzaku asks what she is like and if she is cute and stuff like that. Lelouch says that she is the opposite of cute. Suzaku then infers that she must be the "home-maker" type and once again Lelouch puts C.C. down and explains how she is lazy and never lifts a finger. Suzaku begins to question if this is the right girl for Lelouch while he continues to point out all the flaws that C.C. has and the problems that she causes. She gets fed up with that and starts kicking the bed. Lelouch blames the rumbling on his alarm clock and Suzaku somehow accepts that as a reasonable answer. Lelouch then changes the subject to find out why Suzaku had come over at that time. He just wanted to give some math notes to Lelouch and may not be able to do so at another time due to a work trip that begins tomorrow. Suzaku then says goodbye and walks out. C.C. emerges from under the bed after Suzaku leaves and comments on how original Lelouch's description of their relationship was. She proceeds to question Lelouch and queries as to whether is he is prepared to kill those close to him or only willing to die as a martyr. Lelouch reaffirms his conviction to remove any obstacle in his way.

Audio Drama Stage 12.55 " Tickets of Dreams" (During Stage 12 when Shirley hesitates to invite Lelouch to the concert, before shit happens) You can listen to this audio drama in english dub right here

It begins with Milly asking Shirley why she is so frustrated. Shirley has received tickets to a concert from her father and she wants to invite Lelouch but is not sure how to go about it. Milly tries to put the problem in perspective by saying that compared to the Battle of Narita, and the losses suffered there, it should be easy to tell Lelouch that she likes him. Shirley claims she could not do that because she has too much self-doubt. Instead her imagination begins to run wild.

Her first imagination is that when she asks Lelouch to attend the concert with her, he does not realize she is asking him out and instead he decides to give the ticket to Nunnally effectively ruining Shirley’s plan. This causes Shirley to mentally decide to be more upfront and direct with her request.

Her next imagination involves her stumbling over her own words as she tries to be direct with Lelouch but accidentally ends up insulting him. In this perception he gets upset for her saying that he never has any plans and then continues to rant about how busy he is as Shirley decides that she can not be direct with her request either.

She starts to think that maybe there might be another reason that Lelouch is so busy. In this train of thought she imagines that Kallen and Lelouch have gotten engaged and so he simply can not go on a date with her. In her imagination, Kallen starts calling Lelouch "Lulu", like Shirley usually does, and they both giggle as Shirley yells at her own imagination to stop. Shirley then tries to convince herself that since Kallen has already said she does not like Lelouch, her previous imagination must be wrong.

She then starts to think that even though Lelouch might not be engaged to Kallen there might be someone else he likes. She then imagines that Lelouch is intent on marrying Nunnally who seems way excited about the prospect as well. Shirley freaks out that since they are siblings they can not get married by Nunnally claims that they somehow are not really related by blood so it is okay. Lelouch agrees.

Shirley tries to stop imagining crazy things but instead pictures Lelouch and Suzaku Kururugi getting married. She stops that abruptly only to have Milly say that Shirley has been talking aloud this whole time. Lelouch magically appears and tells Milly that they should head off to their honeymoon in Monaco. Rivalz then jumps in and claims Lelouch for his own. Arthur the cat does the same and everyone that had previously been in Shirley’s imagination come and debate on who gets to marry Lelouch. Lelouch stops the debate by saying there is only one of him and Milly decides that polygamy is the best answer. she says that everyone, including Shirley, should marry him. Everyone but Shirley seems to like this idea.

Finally, Milly slaps Shirley back into the real world and motivates her to go ask Lelouch out on a date. She runs off and finds Lelouch; In a single breathe she explains how she got the tickets and then asks him out. He kind of accepts and then Shirley runs off to think about how good she just did.

Audio Drama Stage 0.515 " The uninvited prince"(Takes place seven years before the Black Rebellion and shortly before the Invasion of Japan)

It begins as a young Suzaku comes to the dwelling of Lelouch vi Britannia and Nunnally vi Britannia. He first notices that laundry is hanging out to dry and remarks at how girlish it is. He is very angry that a Britannian prince would live so close to him.

Lelouch approaches him and asks if he should move the clothing. this innocent request is shot down by Suzaku as he lashes out at Lelouch for being a hostage while he is the heir to the Kururugi name. He feels really superior at this point and thinks that Lelouch shouldn't even be allowed to talk to him.

It shifts as Tohdoh knocks Suzaku down for not paying attention during their sparring match. Tohdoh asks if Lelouch is distracting him and Suzaku outright denies it. Tohdoh then tells him that they should be friends and Suzaku explains that Lelouch doesn't eat food they bring him and doesn't want any help. Tohdoh tries to appease Suzaku and tells him that even though he is a soldier he would rather avoid fighting. This does little to appease Suzaku.

Later that day Suzaku runs into a mob of kids beating up Lelouch at the foot of a mountain. Despite body guards being present no one does anything as Lelouch continues to take their beating. This infuriates Suzaku for some reason and he charges in and rescues Lelouch. He then discovers that the body guards are not there to protect Lelouch but rather watch him and ensure that he doesn't step out of line. They talk for a moment and Suzaku sees this royal prince squabble in the dirt for some loose change and a rewards card. Lelouch then tells Suzaku that regardless of what happens he will live by his own strength and doesn't need the charity of others. Lelouch then walks away and leaves Suzaku very confused.

Talkin Rebellion, Code Geass R2 Side Novels // Not Canon

The Talkin Rebellion novels are quite similar to the Bokura no Hibi novels from S1 (that you can also find on this blog) They were published in the Newtype magazine each month and are meant to offer side stories from events we see in the anime;

Since Novels can once again contradict the canon, it's the same as Bokura No hibi, they can be nice headcanon but they aren't really considered as canon. There are 7 Talkin Rebellion novels that you can find summarized right below

Talkin Rebellion 1 : Kallen x C.C., Without You // Newtype May 2008

This one is meant to happen in between season 1 and R2; It's basically a scene which happens as Kallen and C.C. are roomate, as you can see in picture drama 1 of R2;

Both girls actually blame the other for the mess on each side of their room, Kallen has some dumbells, food package, clothes, the manual for her Guren Nishiki, empty bottle, etc etc, while on C.C.'s side it's most like her few clothes, ashford swimsuit, and an endless ammount of pizza box that she attempts to order for a bit, as she says at Kallen she is the type who doesn't realise things aren't in order until someone actually tells her;

C.C. regrets the days where she could just throw away her stuff and it was magically folded and put at it's own place thanks to Lelouch and C.C. then mentions about their "problem" needs fixing, ie, Lelouch needs to get freed; Kallen silently pleads for Zero to be patient to which C.C. reminds her he is actually Lelouch, much to Kallen's dismay; C.C. finally concludes that she wants Lelouch back,cause who else would put her clothes on hanger (Loved this last line lol)

Talkin Rebellion 2 : Milly x Rivalz, Backyard Fun // Newtype June 2008

This one is meant to happen in Turn 5 during Suzaku's welcome party; As people are less lively, Milly decides she can't allow it to happen as a festival without any energy isn't really a festival; As a dance is launched and everyone takes a part in it, Milly eventually leaves the dance, and as she muses about the fire that lightens the party, and goes to set herself on the side with a pair of binoculars wondering how many couple have been formed, she is contacted by Rivalz; They then began to talk about who got paired with whom, who asked who out, how many yes and no this one had, etc etc; Milly then contacts Lelouch who tells her is in on the roof with Suzaku; After some teasing about Shirley, Milly and Rivalz notices a boy who is seemingly interested by Anya; Milly is thrilled by all those love stories and events and thinks that love is something funny to observe and that might be why she doesn't take care of her own feelings as she is too busy watching everyone's else interesting stories.

Eventually Rivalz appears behind her, super serious and as he is seemingly about to tell her something, she sends him off on a mission and Rivalz being Rivalz, he obeys; Milly then ponders about how grateful she is to him for being as he is, because she can stays as she is thanks to that.

Talking Rebellion 3 : Nunnally x Rolo, My Brother and Me // Newtype July 2008

This one is between Rolo/Nunally (it switches) and Lelouch; Rolo ponders about how much he suffers when Lelouch shuts him off and how he knows the responsible is Nunnally (so it probably happens before Turn 7, when Lelouch learnt about Nunnally being alive and governor of Area 11) so he wonders about what he might become if Nunnally was to come back before looming into a blurry territory about how Nunally shouldn' be needed and what he should do about that;

We then switches to Nunnally who now knows her brother is alive and how painful it is to her to not understand what happens or why her brother told her to pretend they didn't know each other; She then wonders about what has been going on in Lelouch's life and who might be there for him since she is not; She wonders what became of C.C. and if he made peace with Shirley and wishes he is not alone and someone is by his side.

We then go back to Rolo who knocks on Lelouch's door and calls him "oniisama" like Nunnally did, instead of "Niisan", as he usually does, even imitating Nunnally's gesture. It only leads Lelouch to grow colder.

Talkin Rebellion 4 : Lelouch x Suzaku, Mental trap // Newtype August 2008

This one is focused on Suzaku and Lelouch as both ponders about the other; We first have Suzaku, who still thinks Lelouch didn't get his memories back, and wonders about Zero's return and about how both Rolo and Viletta both said nothing's wrong with Lelouch, as well as Lelouch's reaction to Nunnally and him;

Then we switches to Lelouch who thinks about the various instances where he played the normal friend, commenting on daily things about Suzaku, in order to have him believing he isn't Zero; He also thinks about how he had to go on so many date and how unlikely it was of him all because of Sayoko. Suzaku on his side, is surprised to see Lelouch really became a Casanova, as he heard within the report, and wonders if that is the result of the geass of the emperor, as he lost his target of affection when losing Nunnally, his self esteem as he forgot he was a member of the Royals, and his main activity as Zero which kept him busy ; Lelouch's feelings for Nunnally and his twisted sense of pride would then have been a catalyst that would have led him to act decently until now (LOL)

Talkin Rebellion 5 : Lelouch x Charles, Comparing Objects // Newtype September 2008

This one is a sort of parallel C.C. is making of both Charles and Lelouch; We get to see a moment where she was in Aries Villa and had a talk with Charles, who was surprised to see her there and her being C.C. and giving him banter about how she wanted to see his harsh face (C.C. and banter should be synonym) They then talk about how he took yet another wife and Charles notices how it is natural that women are attracted to strong man, before wondering if Marianne spoke to C.C. about that; Eventually they joke a bit and when Charles proposes to C.C. to join his harem, she rebuffs him and thinks about how Marianne's taste in men are weird while she likes cuter men. After her memories of that we are back to the present where C.C. gets in communication with Lelouch as he is in Ashford; But as he is still on the phone, talking about date and cupid day, C.C. remarks it's all in the blood and decides to mess with him by speaking loudly in a suggestive voice so that the person he is on the phone with will hear and will misunderstand things; It works, Lelouch is pissed and they fight a bit as she mocks him and speaks Kaguya's line (that she also said to Charles) about how lustfulness is a hero's thing; He then snaps back about how she talks like an old person, as expected of her, which she doesn't take very well and then concludes Lelouch isn't cute.

Talkin Rebellion 6 : Anya x Gino, Conquer the Rounds // Newtype Octobre 2008

In this novel Lelouch wonders about the fact Anya has a picture of him as a child from when he used to live in Aries palace;

He wonders if she might have information about what happened when his mother was killed, and thinks of way to question her even if he doesn't want to waste his geass like that since he has only one chance and his opponent is a member of the Rounds.

He is suddenly pulled from behind and it happens to be Anya, who shows him again the picture and asks him if it's him;

Lelouch is glad of this opportunity but reminds her he already told her it's not him, to which Anya tells him she heard he liked to crossdress and wear pet costume;

Lelouch vehemently denies it and counters those were costume when she tlls him she saw pictures; She then concludes he might also be wearing a costume on this picture;

Lelouch is in disarray as he notices how hard it is to try to read in those half lidded eyes of her and they begin to speak in some riddles about how one has something to hide and the other doesn't want to say things and if Anya is actually looking for the boy in the picture when…Gino appears, but doesn't want to interrupt and ask them to go on;

He came to this school because Anya wanted to and considers himself as her guardian but allows Lelouch to go farther; Anya muses Gino is more like a watchdog; She then confirms she came because she wanted to see Lelouch and since Gino totally misunderstands the whole topic Lelouch asks him to not think too much as he is tired of being caught in misunderstanding about relationship;

Anya counters and Lelouch can't do much as Gino insists on them getting closer;

The last Talkin Rebellion novel, number 7," Light" from Newtype November 2008 which can be found translated in this post about Shirley's official material ; It kind of contradicts canon in some way but it's a really sweet story about what Lelouch's perfect world might been, the best Talkin Rebellion novel to me.

That's about it for all of the Code Geass Original anime related novels ! That was a lot of work, but we did it; I am not a big fan of novels but side stories like Bokura no Hibi and Talkin Rebellion were pretty nice to read.

Code Geass Lelouch of The Rebellion R2 Novels by Mamoru Iwasa // Non Canon

There are 4 novels for Code Geass R2, always written by Mamoru Iwasa, and a last one, the Knight of Rounds novels, which focuses mostly on Suzaku, Gino and Anya, as well as a part focused on Marianne. You can find additional info + Season 1 novels translations right here. Aside from the first one, Turn 1, R2 novels weren't translated in english like the season 1 novels and while the novels in japanese can be bought, and are actually available in chinese online, no one actually had the courage to translate those fully; **Still you can find some part of the novels which were translated amongst various places of the internet right below**

I'll be honest, I don't have it either, novels aren't very interesting to me since they are merely an interpretation from an author who isn't part of the writing team, so no canon information can be found, and i'm not a fan of this type of merchandising as i'm more of a fan of the CanonVerse than i am of the various AU/Fanon verse.

Season 1 novels were already translated and not much enjoyable to read for me, so i didn't read the R2 novels, that means unless someone is motivated enough, or if someday i am motivated enough, I'll only post some novel bits that can be found over the internet, or some summaries found in Animesuki when the novels aired ;

For Turn 3, you can find some tibdits that were translated, mostly about C.C., because you could get some interpretation by Iwasa about what could possibly go on within some character's head.

Original translation can be found there, I pasted it here because it's put in the middle of various texts about C.C., both mixing canon stuff and not canon one, so it's a bit messy to link it directly;

It's supposed to be an insight of Lelouch's thought after he comes back from C.C.'s inner world/past in Turn 15.

I’m ‘too kind’? What stupid words!

Who’s the one being ‘too kind’ here?

C.C., when you first made contract with me, you didn’t reveal anything. I was afraid that I was nothing more than a tool to end your eternal life. But now I know your weakness that differs you from the nun, the Code bearer from your past; you are too kind. No matter where you go, even when your body is immortal, your heart is still that of human. Whenever you make a contract, at first you have no feelings for your contractor. However after spending some time together with them, you change. As your heart longs for love the most, the girl longing for love would appear. You become confused, and finally come to conclusion: as long as the contractor grows to hate you***, they would leave you on their own. This way, you wouldn’t have to assign the same pain to them as the nun did to you. How stupid. You are really an idiot. Then why make contract? Wouldn’t it be meaningless? How could you have feelings for the person you intended to use?

Here’s one thing I can tell you clearly.

“Don’t underestimate me, C.C.! Do you think I didn’t know your weakness? Do you think I fell for your cheap ploys? For being manipulated by you, do you think I would hate you?”

(*) In the novel, it’s explained that one of the reasons C.C. sent Lelouch into her memory (and not just him, but many of her past contractors) is to make them hate her by showing them that she would ultimately betray them just like the nun did her. That is, if they haven’t hated her yet for ruining their life by giving them Geass.**

**This is one of the various instance where novels contradicts canon, as it was stated C.C. sent Lelouch within her past to actually protect him from the emperor, it is atually even stated by C.C.'s dark double herself who understood Lelouch was someone important to C.C. for her to send him over there My Own Thoughts : C.C.'s past didn't show her betraying her past contractors, it mostly showed how she came to acquire her geass and Code, the suffering she had to endure and the nun's betrayal, so it really doesn't make sense, Those image are unlikely to spread hatred, and Lelouch had already witnessed how C.C. was dealing with her past contractors with Mao, he didn't came to hate her anyway. R2 - Turn 4

It's a Monologue that Iwasa pictured right after C.C. and Lelouch's scene in Turn 23, after she comforted him about Zero Requiem being the right path to take.

‘I do not want to lose this man.’ Thought C.C. without any hesitancy. There’s a way for her not to lose him. However, he wouldn’t want to use this method, and even she… did not want to. Then what should she do? C.C. hadn’t come to understand the way of the world, even when she had lived for who knows how many years she still didn’t understand, had no way of knowing what is right and what is wrong, but she was sure of one thing. That he, the man named Lelouch Lamperouge, would not stop running toward death. He chose this path on his own will. He’s like a horse that couldn’t be stopped. She wanted to blame him, but couldn’t… She wanted to cry, but couldn’t. So… "Lelouch.” He said “Hm,” in response. “Do you remember, that time in Narita?” C.C. asked a bit out of the blue, that Lelouch felt a little confused. “Why suddenly…” She leaned on his back, then continued, “Why snow is white?” There’s an instant blank, before Lelouch immediately answered, “Because it forgot its original color.” “Then do you remember, Lelouch? Your original color.” “Stupid question,” he replied, finally back to his conceited tone. “I am me, I would never forget.” “Is that so…” “What about you, C.C.? Do you remember your original color?” “Who knows, but -” “But?” “At least right now, my color is your color, Lelouch.” Silence came. Then Lelouch laughed softly. “You selfish.” “Of course,” she wanted to cry a little - but instead, her face revealed a smile from the bottom of her heart, “it’s because I’m C.C.”

Another scene that was summarized is the Lelouch/C.C. hangar scene from Turn 24, you can see it in it's own post, once again by Mononoke no Ko, so no need to copy paste this time it's right here

My own Thoughts : Basically it doesn't say anything new, Iwasa tries to expand on the position of Lelouch and C.C. (But since we saw the whole scene between them without any cut till they even stumbled from the Guren crash, it's yet another contradiction with canon)

And the final scene which was translated is the ending of Turn 4, which is basically giving food to Lelouch is alive theorists, when, once again, this novelization contradicts canon in every way, shape or form, as you can see in this post here

The wagon was filled with hay. There was a girl sitting on it with waist long hair and incredible appearance, that's the first impression she gives to others. She was focused on folding a japanese origami, something completely irrelevant to the surroundings. Finally, the origami gradually took shape, it was a crane. The girl gazed satisfactorily at the crane for some moments before putting it on the hay. Then after stretching her body, she laid down on the hay vigorously, the wagon shook slightly, the horseman glanced backward without turning around. The girl didn't care, she inhaled the smell of the herbs bathed in sunlight, stared up at the sky and smiled sweetly. Then-

"The power of kings, Geass, will make you lonely." The blissful and ringing voice of C.C. echoed in the sky. "Heh, not at all, right, Lelouch?"

The horseman holding the reins still, glanced back. Before turning around, a faint smile suddenly appeared at the corners of his mouth. The wagon continued moving forward slowly with the pull of two bad horses.

The weather was mild and sunny. The sky was cloudless.

Knight of Rounds Novel

Knights of Rounds (a novel following Suzaku alongside Gino and Anya, set mostly during the time between R1 and R2, although there is a special chapter that goes into the past and follows Marianne as a Knight of Rounds before she became an Empress) Once again, not much was translated, and I can't blame people on that, still you can find a translation of the first chapter about Gino by the amazingly motivated Ellen right there

For the Marianne chapter, I read it a long time ago and I only remember she was quite blood thirsty and mostly seemed to care for her children as long as they didn't get in her way (so very fitting with the Canon Marianne)

That's it for the R2 novels, There will probably a third post about miscelleanous novels, like the Talkin Rebellion that can be found in the Guidebook, But I won't mix those in there, they'll have their own post. Hope you enjoyed !
