i know the general 6a consensus is that ppl think scott should've been the one to bring stiles back but i think you're all just fundamentally mis-understanding that whole plot line (no offense). because.... YES, i know what you mean. you all wanted scott to physically be the on to ground him back in the physical world rather than lydia but he *did* do that. he had all the memories of stiles, so many that he was overwhelmed and couldn't even pick one. he was the one to keep pushing that they needed to figure out who stiles was and why he felt so important and he was the one who saw stiles first when he got back. the only reason he wasnt technically The Person was bc Lydia is a banshee. the whole thing was that banshees have connections to the ghost riders (similar to whatever the fuck was going on with corey). banshees are unaffected by the ghost riders and are all left behind when towns are taken. lydia HAD to be the final piece BECAUSE of her connection, not because of some bullshit stydia plot. Scott WAS the one who brought him back, lydia just had to help.
