Sorry, but having Zuko actually fight back against Ozai during their Agni Kai is just wrong. He was a child, only 13 at the time, afraid to fight his own father and was mutilated as punishment, because Ozai saw Zuko's begging and unwillingness to fight as unforgiveable weakness.

The Angi Kai isn't meant to be a showcase of Zuko's fighting potential (that's what the Zhao fight is for), but to show the utter cruelty of Ozai.

I will never get over the fact that Jude and Cardan just kissed in bed after their wedding vows. Because that's?? The sweetest thing ever?? Like Jude was stuck in the Undersea for a while and Cardan got poisoned and almost died as well so they were both tired and probably wanted to be vulnerable with eachother after their vows of "partnership" (ahemMarriageahem).

Just imagining them all tangled up and in eachother's arms... Exchanging soft kissies under the covers after Cardan made flowers bloom in their room... I honestly don’t think it’s funny at all.

Painting is so important to who Feyre is. It is one of two outlets that she enjoyed as a human. It’s one of the few things that Rhys saw UTM that kept him sane. She used her painting to process her feelings about the mating bond. Her interest in art and painting even changes how she sees the world.

In the first book, the only thing she wanted was to have the time and freedom to paint. Art was the first thing she opened up to tamlin about.

She uses her love of art to provide creative outlets for people in Velaris through her studio. It’s how she made her first friend that wasn’t in the IC. It’s how she shows affection for her family, processes trauma, and how she generally wants to spend her time.

It’s just so shitty to me that this hobby which is such a huge part of Feyre’s personality is brushed off as a cheap joke that diminishes her abilities. As if she’s so foolish that she wouldn’t notice if her own “stick figures drawings” weren’t detailed paintings. I just don’t get it. It feels like a way to tear down her character and make her seem self centered, shallow, and ditzy. Why are people so intent on tearing her down when time after time she is shown to be self sacrificing, forgiving, and loving. Let her fucking paint.

If feyre is a bad painter

Then aelin is a bad pianist

Bryce is a bad dancer

Why would sjm give something to a character that makes her so happy, just for her to be trash at it? Meanwhile no one is saying this about the other two
