Many people say several characters were more hardworking than naruto but the most laughable ones have to be neji and sasuke. Two geniuses from very prominent clans have and will never be more of a representation of hardwork than naruto uzumaki no matter how you spin it.

Everybody trained yes but not everybody had a hard time grasping even basic concepts, had to come up with their own way of applying it after multiple failures and exhausted themselves to the point of fainting multiple times even falling asleep outside I truly don't want to hear it

I know everyone saw 'child of prophecy', 'ashura reincarnation' whatever and started invalidating naruto's experiences but the line has to be drawn somewhere

Might be a hot take but talk no jutsu only pisses off certain people because they probably hate being told that their shit stinks.

Naruto never invalidated anyone's trauma he just held them accountable for their terrible actions regardless. Some of you can't stand the fact that a sad backstory was revealed and you feel righteous anger on the character's behalf but the story doesn't use that to excuse the very wrong things they did.

Neji, Nagato, Obito, Sasuke everybody

Neji had all the right to be mad at his situation but he did NOT have the right to take out his problems on other people who weren't responsible for it, and this can be said for the remaining character as well. Trauma doesn't mean you can't do anything wrong and a lot of you have trouble understanding that.

Talk no jutsu was meant to give hope and second chances to the other characters. If the root of their problems weren't fixed that's solely because of that cash grab sequel and not because naruto is suddenly a professional gaslighting manipulative freak

Naruto never promised or threatened a "murder suicide" with sasuke, he just made a statement of what would happen if they both fought again. They both lost an arm in vote2 and they both expected to die. That was all. Naruto never said he would kill himself if sasuke ever died either. Contrary to popular belief he's not some abusive ex boyfriend who refuses to let sasuke live or die without him. "I'll bear the burden of your hatred and die with you" doesn't mean "I'll kill you then myself", it means sasuke taking out all his built up hatred on him will result in that and it's something naruto is prepared for if it comes down to it.

Boruto is nothing more than an inconsistent cash grab that contradicts the original story and frankly I don't care to seriously debate it. Though as far as I'm concerned, Naruto did say he wont rest until all the villages are at peace and there's no canon evidence in boruto to confirm whether the hyuga clan changed or not. All the mention of it is a filler where Hiashi thanked Naruto for changing the clan. Neji's fight against his destiny was supposed to change the hyuga btw and if I'm not mistaken...it did to some extent

Only with naruto can he:

reflect on his own backstory to connect with his opponents and see where they're coming from

be called similar by the very villains he's facing first

respond to accusations that he doesn't know what it's like to be lonely, hated, burdened with a mark by thinking of or sharing his story to say yes, I do

use his similarities with others to inspire them to change their pessimistic mindset and let them know there's still hope for them to stop hurting people

and be called a gaslighting manipulative selfish narcissist with the biggest victim complex (even when he acknowledges others have suffered more than him), who doesn't care about anyone other than himself. Reading comprehension has never been lower, or rather, purposefully bad to push an agenda. The mental gymnastics people do to villainize this boy needs to be studied.

The insanely possessive naruto that sns stans/naruto antis cooked up doesn't exist, and all it takes is a little understanding of context but I guess yaoi/hate goggles are more important.

Naruto told konoha 12 that he's the only one that can fight sasuke after an agreement between the two of them for it to be just them, because naruto felt responsible for saving everyone and knew the village wouldn't withstand sasuke's rage and offered himself up as a target instead because he had a better chance at survival, and it's somehow turned into "only I get to fight sasuke cause he's mine don't you dare lay a finger on him or you'll be sorry" naruto's face walking away just reflected the gravity of the situation

Or his words to itachi that sasuke was always his to deal with or whatever other translation, again, the agreement, and narrative wise, it's just the truth. It was always gonna be naruto and sasuke at the end, it was always gonna be naruto who "deals with him". For one, he's the protagonist, otherwise, besides itachi, who sasuke wanted to kill, naruto was his closest bond and always had the best chance at getting through to him. Also at that point naruto was the only one who still had faith in sasuke* or at least didn't try to kill him.

*idc if you don't think sasuke needed saving or that he didn't need help, it's simply not true. You can't sit there and argue that sasuke was never bad and a pacifist at heart who would never or refused to kill innocents, then watch him plot to destroy a whole village and stab his comrade through the chest because she was in the way of his goal and think he still had the same views. Actually, regardless of what kishimoto set up, that argument got thrown out the window the second he almost killed naruto, whose only crime was trying to stop sasuke from running off to orochimaru.

sasuke stans will come up with every reason under the sun as to why naruto stans hate sasuke EXCEPT the fact that he tried to kill him multiple times for dumbass reasons while he was trying to help him and never once wanted to kill him in return like wow, that doesn't sit right with people, who would've thought lmaoo. He literally tried to kill him on his birthday right after his dead father said goodbye like hello?? Yeah some people are just bitter and jealous and self inserting but to act like that's all there is to it? People who try to use naruto somewhat not caring about the uzumaki clan against him don't make any sense to me because it's obvious that it's kishimoto who doesn't/didn't care. Info about the uzumakis felt very half assed and it was clear it wasn't planned from the start. Naruto never even found out the two uzumakis he interacted with were uzumakis, I'm not even sure they knew, it was just the audience and a few other characters like orochimaru. Also at the time of the reveal it was nearing the end of the series with the war arc and giving more attention to it would've required more story which I don't think kishimoto had in him to give. So we just got a comment or two every now and then post reveal. The clan existed, they were strong, mastered sealing, got wiped out, apparently konoha shinobi were wearing the symbol on their backs this whole time because of an alliance, and these previously introduced characters are uzumakis, they're also hard to kill, fin. Alot of things that should've happened re: the uzumakis didn't and that's on the writer cause what reactions or interest do any other uzumakis in the series even have towards their clan
