One piece of advice for anyone not knowing what career to follow: whatever class you take, workshops, zoom courses, whatever it may be please please please make an effort to get good with the teacher/professor. If it’s math class but you don’t think you’ll do anything STEM related? Doesn’t matter, talk to them and be likable. This applies to every course and teacher. When the time comes you’re going to need a letter of recommendation and this will be your key into most places. Being likable outweighs any bad grade or lack of talent you may have.

Sean John’s Unforgivable; an intro to smelling good.
Most people have smelt this fragrance or at least similar like it for Sean John’s Unforgivable cologne is accessible through its cheap price and availability throughout the internet and American rack stores.
It became available in 2006 and, though its over 15+ year age, many still claim this cologne to be their signature fragrance such as Odell Beckham Jr! It’s so popular that when news hit that it was discontinued the people demanded it back and so the cologne is in reproduction again.
The bottle pictured is a 2021 purchase. I found it at a Ross for $25 USD. You can find it cheaper online but most stores and websites will have a similar price.
The initial spray:
The scent opens up crisp, fresh, and fruity. The crisp opening reminds me of when you open up a fresh can of Sprite.
The fruit notes of tangerine and grapefruit stand out to me the most.
Underneath these citrus notes I smell a soft base. Almost like a vanilla-y sweetness but no vanilla note. This must be the tonka bean.
The dry down:
As the scent dies down the citrus notes fade into the background and you get more of the iris note. This reminds me of the iris you smell in Dior Homme.
I’m also left with the sweet and soft base that was peaking through in the initial spray. Amber and tonka bean. It’s a very welcoming and inoffensive base. The kind you want to keep sniffing because it’s so comforting. A definite date-night scent.
Performance:
On my skin, this fragrance performs badly. It projects for one hour then dies down to a skin scent that you will have to search for after 3 hours.
Others opinions:
My brother smelt this when I sprayed it. He really liked it!
My girlfriend has a sensitive nose and dislikes most scents. She didn’t care for this one. She said it was “oKaY”.
In conclusion:
Unforgivable is sweet and fresh. I genuinely like it. This fragrance can be worn by anyone at any age. It’s also versatile, a reason why it’s so many’s signature scent. It may not project but it’s so cheap I’d take a vile with me to reapply if I wanted to. If you’re under 25 I’d recommend trying this out as an intro to fragrances. It has popular notes in it that can train your nose a bit for when you’re on your search for other fragrances.
Recommendations:
Perfect for date-nights and you want your date close.
Great for any setting where you want to smell good but want to be subdued and not loud.
Great intro to fragrances.
If you like the intro carry a travel vile with you to reapply.
Final Rating:
6/10. If it had performed better I would have given it a 7.

Student to Teacher to Student
One of my favorite artists of all time is Keaton Henson.
Keaton Henson is a musician, painter, and poet from England born in 1988. I first heard of him four years ago in the middle of the night while listening to music by Soko. (Her song Keaton’s Song, allegedly, was written about her relationship with Keaton Henson.)
I searched for him and after listening to his NPR Tiny Desk Concert I became drawn to all of his work past and present. This year he released his book The Tallowmere Annual. I own a copy and as I was reading it today I noticed a logo on the back by the company backing this project. I googled the company in hopes of finding similar artists to Keaton but they had too many for me to bother looking at so I looked up Keaton from their site instead to see if there’d be any information about upcoming projects. What I found was a short bio for him and in it I discovered that at a young age he was inspired by Edward Gorey.
After viewing Edward Gorey’s artwork for the first time I was easily able to see just how much he influenced Keaton and his art. The similarities lie between the bleak mood within the characters and surroundings, the thin lines of black on white paper, and the simplified details of all subjects within the picture.
I knew that the artists of today draw a lot of inspiration from artists of the past but after discovering this I became happy to know that the artist that influences me was a beginner himself, admiring anothers work.
It’s always good to see where an artist comes from to understand their work better. Not only do I feel great to discover more about my favorite artist, but I feel better knowing that, in a culture where originality is deemed the only trait of a true artist, we have the influenced to thank for modern day masterpieces.

Rewatching HIMYM
Hi everyone. I’m currently rewatching the entire series of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother. I’m currently on season three and intaking more than 18 year old me could ever have. What I’m mean is, I have a more opinionated outlook on the stuff that goes on in the show because of life experience. Eighteen year old me had never been in a serious relationship so I couldn’t relate or understand some of the issues the characters faced. All I knew was that I wanted to have many tales to tell just like the gang did. I haven’t been an adventurous person but I really want to be, while I’m still young and have the lungs for it all.
Barney is still my favorite character, and I still find Ted slightly annoying (I really love Josh Radnor though!).

I am Chet Sault
Hello everyone, my name is Chet Sault (pronounced Soh). Welcome to my blog where I’ll be writing out my thoughts on life, books, movies, music, and personal everyday life things. I’m not a writer, only a person who wants to relieve the mind from endless wondering thoughts so please ignore my very amateur style of writing. I hope you enjoy your day, I’ll be back soon.

Please do not hurt me, love
I am a fragile one
And you are the white in my eyes
Please do not break my heart
I think it’s had enough pain to last the rest of my life
