Day 2: Damnit, Ino! I Need That Stethoscope!

The day had started out so well. She’d done her rounds-given a refill of medication for Old Man Kurosawa and even had a small chat with Yuriko Haneki about her pregnancy. It had started out so well-so why did Ino ruin it?

“Ino! Get back here!” 

“No! You skipped out on our night out-again!” Ino stuck her tongue out teasingly while clutching the object in her hands tightly, using her other to flick her blonde ponytail backwards. “You can’t have it back until you swear you’ll come out tonight!”

Sakura groaned. “Ino, I have a job to do-y’know, like working in the hospital we are both in right now? I have an appointment in three minutes and I need that stethoscope!”

Ino just stopped and whirled around, a victorious gleam in her eyes.

“Then you’ll come out tonight with me, right? You’ll finish your shift, go home and get dressed into something sexy-and rock the nightlife with me, right?” 

Sakura wished dearly to say no. A ten hour shift and then at least five hours out with Ino would mean she’d be too tired to train with her boys tomorrow-but the unholy glee in Ino’s eyes promised that something much worse would happen if she said no.

“Fine! Fine, just give me back my stethoscope so I can go!”

With a bright grin, Ino threw her hands around Sakura’s neck in a hug.

“YES! I’ll see you tonight then-make sure you wear that black dress hanging in the back of your closet, ‘kay? See ya!”

Before Sakura could respond, Ino was gone in a puff of smoke. Sighing, Sakura ran a hand through her short locks and shook her head. Ino would be Ino.

Turning and striding away, Sakura was nearly to the room her patient was in when she froze in place.

With a groan, she turned back and quickly went to get a replacement stethoscope. For the third time this month.

Ino really needs to stop taking her things!

According to the results of the poll, the event shall start from Thursday, 22nd March and it will end on Wednesday, 28th March, in which Sakura’s birthday would be on the final day of the event.

The Daily Life of Doctor Haruno

Day 1: Oh my God, please just get the flu shot. It’s FREE.

“But Sakura-chan, I don’t like needles!”

Sakura clenched her teeth, resisting the urge to smack the blonde sitting on the examination table in front of her.

“Naruto, we go through this every year, can’t you just get it peacefully, this once?” She almost felt like crying. The strongest of her generation-afraid of needles. Why is it that she’s the only one that has to put up with this every year? Oh yeah, because none of her boys would let any of the other staff near them.

Not even Shizune.

“ But what if it’s a tainted batch and I end up sick!?” Naruto whined. “What if it’s been poisoned by enemy ninja-what if, what if I end up DYING!?”

She groaned inwardly, closing her eyes and counting to twenty for patience as her teammate worked himself into a panic. Then, with a feigned sense of calm she uncapped the needle in her hand, within ten seconds having the blonde pinned beneath her on the exam table as she set her knees on his elbows, sitting on his abdomen and enhancing her legs with chakra so he couldn’t move.

She failed to notice his startled expression and the blush working its way up his face as she checked the syringe for air and tapped the last bubble out with a firm flick of her finger and a small press of the plunger.

Then, with a glance at his exposed upper arm, she very quickly cleaned the area with an alcohol wipe from her coat pocket and stuck the needle in. She ignored the unusual silence of her victim, taking it as progress that even his normal flinch was gone.

With a quick run of her chakra, the small wound was closed and she was up and off of him, at the door before he even had a chance to sit up from the daze he was in.

With a shake of her head, Sakura opened the door. “Next time Naruto, just get the flu shot. For Gods’ sake, it’s free.”

She strode out of the room, still not noticing-or maybe not caring about-the blush on his cheeks as his fried brain tried to work around what just happened.

‘Sakura-chans’ thighs are...soft...Sakura-chan....on me...’ A passing nurse made sure to get him out of his thoughts, shaking her head at her superiors name passing the handsome blondes’ lips as she laughed to herself on the pinkettes’ obliviousness.
