It was St. Patrick's Day for the rest of ya'll, but for some of us, it was St. RATrick's Day.

The Rat Patrol in Chicago celebrated its 25th Anniversery with a week of shenanigans. I came for the Circ-ASS and the Rat Ride. 🚲

She has a fox trap on her arm that he's trying to take off! Um, Ouch.

Just a bunch of Carnie-Punk Mayhem at the Circ-ASS.

One game was to see how many wrenches you can hold in your butt 🍑

Saturday was the RAT RIDE!! complete with games

Road Trip Pt. 2

Silver City, NM

My mountain bike got stolen from the back of my car. I spent over an hour roaming around the little city to find the culprit.

I even the locals wanted to help. But, no luck.

Then I drove around in the mud and rain and more mud to find an off the beaten path art installation.

After getting my car stuck and my feet stuck, I finally made it to Rock Hound State Park to camp for the night. The sunset and the stars were spectacular.

The next day I spent the morning in Deming, NM to avoid the rain showers. But as soon as the sun came out I headed to MEXICO for some tacos.

Road Trip!

From San Diego --> Arizona--> New Mexico -->

Stopped for gas in Tucson, Arizona and then headed to a retro dive bar.

Shelter Bar

Then went down a few blocks to fill up on Noodles at Noodleholics.

Then I drove all night to New Mexico. At midnight I found a campground and slept in my car.

Next stop: Gila National Wilderness

I visited the old cliff dwellings and hiked through the canyon to spend a night at the Jordan Hot Springs.

SoCal, JT, SheWee and PeeWee

Joshua Tree

I went back to Joshua Tree to practice setting up my shiftpod and to watch the Perseid meteor shower

This time was the inaugural SheWee Olympics. I have wanted a peeing funnel for awhile now. With Burning Man looming in the near distance, I decided to practice with my new SheWee.

The SheWee Olympics consisted of:

Aim (peeing in a beer can)

Precision and Dexterity (writing your name in the sand)

Strength of Stream

It was funnel VS Penis (not pictured). The winner got to take home this one of a kind trophy.

As a first time SheWee user, I struggled getting a proper seal around my vagina. Urine leaked out the back and over the sides. It was also about 100 degrees in Joshua Tree in August. I was barely hydrated to complete the challenges. For this round, I'll say the Penis won.

There will be a REMATCH!

The Cabazon Dinosaurs

On our way back to San Diego we passed by the Cabazon Dinosaurs. This little roadside attraction was featured in PeeWee's Big Adventure. Paul Reubens had just died so we made a plan to stop.

And a final stop at the Palomar Observatory.

Bayshore Bikeway

The 24 mile Bayshore Bikeway takes you from downtown San Diego to the Coronado Ferry.

We thought it was 24 miles round trip, but it was 24 miles ONE WAY. We opted not to take the ferry back. I think it took us a total of 6 hours for the entire trip.

I wish I took more photos of the mounds of salt in front of the salt factory and the beautiful, historic Coronado, and the delicious Mac'N Cheese sandwiches we ate at the food truck rally, but I was exhausted.
