I might be rewriting The Soldier and the Widow. If anyone is interested in a rewrite that will be slightly more ordered and hopefully better entertaining then please let me know.

Still going to keep Hill as a trans man and I will still keep Finch in this fic but I have a few things I kind of want to change so I’m thinking that a rewrite might do it more justice than an entirely new story.

If there’s something you’d like to see in the fic, let me know and I’ll do my best to incorporate it. Thank you to everyone who reads my fics especially when I feel like they’re gonna flop.

Hello hello *taps mic* is this thing on?

I thought I’d take to this glorious app to clarify a few things because I’ve had some questions. So I write on AO3, most of y’all know that. I have written quite a bit for a few fandoms though currently I’m focusing on MCU related things.

At the moment I’m writing for BlackHill and Carol Danvers. But I’m also adding my own character into the mix. I write what I know and hence most of my works feature a trans man (because that’s how I also identify) for example: Maria Hill is Max Hill in my works and so I also talk a little about the trans experience. My story with Carol features the same trans character who I invented.

Hopefully this answers a few people’s questions or at least points you in the direction of a fic author (me) if you’re interested in that kind of story.

I do also take prompts in case there’s something you particularly would like to read from me so don’t hesitate to ask even if you wish to remain anonymous.

Okay so….I’m currently debating on whether or not to finish The Soldier and The Widow where it is or just pause it because I can’t currently think of anywhere else to send the story.

But I also had another idea of starting a new (slightly more in order) fic with BlackHill and Finch and have that make more sense.

I just wanna know what everyone thinks. Should I continue with TSATW or should I write new story? I honestly don’t mind starting war world three in the comment section if other people have ideas for me. Might even start taking prompts

Something that annoys me the most about fanfic is when I get so into writing a story and I have such good ideas for it and then it gets to actually writing and I either can’t articulate and write it or I get writers block.

I promise that I will update The Soldier and The Widow asap, I will post another chapter of Higher Further Faster….I just currently have writers block.

So after writing a new fic series to add to my MCU series collection on AO3 I discovered that not only have I written a fic with Carol Danvers x trans male original character but I’ve also written it as how I wanted Secret Invasion to be and somehow may have written a potential polyamorous relationship between Carol Danvers, my OG character and Valkyrie. So there’s that……I’m kind of nervous about this series about potentially posting it but if you like the idea and would want to read it then please like and comment…..

Training and coming out:

Hitting a punchbag was also a great stress reliever when it came to releasing pent up anger, or so he found out, however, he hadn’t realized that she had seen him until she came to stand in front of him to hold the bag.

“What are you doing here at this time, thought you’d gone home?” Carol asked as he made another punch at the punching bag.

“Just had to release some energy.” He couldn’t help but smile. Not when it came to Carol.

Carol nodded, knowing the feeling well, she’d seen Natasha teaching him how to hit properly a few times, making sure that he had the right technique when it came to moving his body.

As he did so, Carol noted that it did feel slightly different right now, as if he had more of a reason to release that energy, she watched as he stepped away after he was finished hitting the bag.

“Thanks for holding the bag.” He smiled knowing that Carol could have gone home at any time.

“It’s okay. Would rather make sure that you’re okay than leave. Gets lonely at night.” Carol nodded. “How come you’re wearing long sleeves instead of short sleeves, can’t be comfortable when you start sweating?”

Carol was just trying to start conversation but when he tensed up a little, she knew she may have crossed a line and was about to apologize for doing as such.

“It’s because of dysphoria.” He looked at the mirror that he’d covered up in the far corner.

Carol nodded, understanding a little bit of that, she’d heard the words that Monica and Maria had told her and took into account to be slow and careful with her words.

“Dysphoria? As in…..?” Carol began asking to make sure that she got it right and didn’t just assume, she may be old in technical terms but she still wanted to make sure that what she said wasn’t outdated.

“As in….gender dysphoria. Looking in the mirror hurts a little sometimes and it feels like looking at someone I don’t recognize, hence the long sleeves.” He slowly explained.

Carol nodded. “So, gender dysphoria, got it. And what pronouns do you prefer?”

“My pronouns are he/him, masculine.” He confirmed with a smile and a simple nod.

Carol smiled brightly at the confirmation. “Awesome, brilliant, well, I think that you’re incredibly strong and brave, to keep fighting for who you are. And staying true to yourself in a world where it’s not always easy to do so.” She nodded. “I’m by your side no matter what. And I’m always here to listen. I may not understand half of it but I’m here to listen.”

“Thanks, Carol.” He smiled before pulling the blonde into a hug.

The two of them having discussed that they were quite huggy people, both of their love languages being physical touch and that is where he sought comfort.

“Thank you for understanding.” He squeezed just a little tighter.

“No, thank you for telling me, I think you’re amazing and the world sucks with this stuff sometimes but I love you for you, no matter who you are, decide to be no matter what, promise.”

Considering Carol’s background, he had no idea how she was going to react. People in the military or with a military background didn’t normally respond well to this kind of thing, causing him to feel a little worried about telling her.

He knew that as a superhero she’d have more of an open mind but it didn’t stop his brain from trying to convince him that suddenly she’d see him differently. He took a deep breathe of relief in knowing that she accepted him and understood.
