If there was any one thing that you knew about Eyeless Jack, it was that he was much sneakier than anyone had the right to be. You learned this through his numerous midnight kitchen exploits, his soundless walking down the hallways, the knock on your door that was barely there. Nighttime was the thriving grounds of creatures and critters alike, and Jack took to this like a moth to a flame - he was in his element in the dark, always silent, always watching.
Watching as much as an eyeless man could watch, anyways.
It was suffice to say that he had scared you a great deal more than was necessary at this point - you always let your guard down too easily, and your startle reflex was so active that you were very easily scared by even minuscule shifts of shadows across the room.
However - not this time.
You walked into the lounge room of the mansion, spotting Jack on the couch before he could sneak up on you. You smiled, calling out, "Hey, Eyeless," using the nickname affectionately. You could hear him let out a huff of amusement under his mask - both knowing the origin of what was a term of endearment after so many months of its' use. You crossed the room, and sat down on the couch, next to his outstretched legs.
"Hey, yourself," Jack said, moving his legs slowly to rest them in your lap. "How was your day?" He extended a hand out to cradle your cheek, and your heart squeezed as you leaned into his warm touch.
"It doesn't matter now," you melted. "It's a lot better now that you're here." You turned your face into his hand so you could press tender kisses to each of his fingers.
You could hear the smile in Jack's voice, even through the mask. "I'm glad I could make it better," he said, then patted his chest. "Come here," he beckoned, and you happily obeyed. You lowered your head gently, and enveloped yourself in his scent. You wouldn't tell him this, but he really did make such a good pillow.
"I've got nothing else to do for the entire day," you posed. "Want to spend some time together?"
Jack moved his mask to the side so he could lean down and press a warm kiss to the top of your head. "I'd love to."

Eyeless Jack HCs
My personal HCs regarding EJ’s personality, quirks, mannerisms etc
He’s pretty much quiet, but he is very observant.
He wants to speak more but honestly feels as if he would be spoken over by Jeff or Ben. He’s not afraid to, just doesn’t see the point if that is the likely outcome.
When he does speak however, it’s usually something no one else in the room considered or thought about. It’d spark a conversation, but he would stay out of it.
He states the obvious. Not because he’s dumb, but because sometimes it can play a huge role in things. He believes humans tend to oversee what is in front of them, and focus more on what is beyond them.
He loves to think deeply, he’s very much into philosophy.
He gets on with Slender about it. They don’t talk much, mainly because Slender is busy.
He does eat human food but doesn’t really gain anything from it. So, he occasionally feasts on an organ or two.
He gets very, very, very bloody. More bloody than you’d think.
Cryptic as hell.
He just sort of loses himself in his thoughts. And when he snaps back into “reality”, he seems very ominous. More ominous than usual.
He’s a very quick learner.
Incredibly smart, very articulate and lowkey highkey very chill. He is very precise with his movements.
The other pastas claim that being around him makes the room feel tranquil. His aura is just very calming when he is around people he knows.
Probably the one you would go to for advice.
He’s well mannered but doesn’t give off that “dapper, gentleman” vibe, he’s just very polite and keeps to himself.
Ideal boyfriend for a bookworm.

Anyways, Breonna Taylor
Breonna Taylor - On March 13, 2020, Breonna Taylor lay sleeping with her boyfriend Kenneth Walker.
Outside police silently gathered, preparing to raid what they believed to be a residence linked to two drug dealers.
One of these drug dealers was thought to be receiving mail at Taylor’s apartment, resulting in a judge signing a search warrant with a “no knock” provision.
The warrant claimed that a US Postal Inspector confirmed that the dealer had been receiving packages at the apartment. Postal Inspector Tony Gooden has said that his office had told police there were no packages of interest being received there.
Taylor and Walker were awoken by a loud bang at the door.
Taylor yelled “Who is it?” multiple times to no response before Walker armed himself with a legally owned firearm.
Walker fired 1 shot before the officers returned with over 20 rounds. Taylor was shot at least 8 times. No drugs were found in the apartment.
Breonna Taylor worked as an EMT. She aspired to be a nurse and had no criminal past. She was working during the coronavirus crisis.
On May 29, Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer indefinitely suspended the use of “no knock” warrants. The shooting is currently under investigation.
