The Weirdos
Hello! I am back with a simple sketch of not one, but four of my original characters.
From top to bottom, left to right: Kyle, Ryan, Melanie and Tamara
The Weirdos
Sometimes less means more. Not when we’re talking about group photos according to these four.
When I saw this picture while scrolling on Pinterest, I couldn’t resist not drawing my favourite gang of four, the self-proclaimed…

(OC) Patrícia - digital art version!
(OC) Patrícia – digital art version!
OC Patrícia
“Take the damn photo already, idiot.”
^This is what I imagine Patrícia saying in this picture.
This is my first attempt at digital art. I’ve been wanting to try it for a long time and this year I finally got the chance to. Instead of starting with little sketches to get used to this new technique, I went for a remake of a traditional drawing I made of my original character…

Melanie (OC)
Here’s my yearly graphite drawing post! (Seriously, I should draw more. Or at least try not to take months to finish a drawing.)
Melanie
After drawing Patrícia, I thought to myself maybe I should start drawing my other OCs, especially the ones from that Universe. This is a great way not only yo develop the characters themselves, but also to train my free hand non-fanart drawing skills.
A lot…

I had a dream. Everything was yellow. It was a field of yellow glowy flowers.

Looking into the past
Looking into the past
Looking into the past
While taking a walk in the road among these fields, I ended up looking at the landscape and mentally comparing it to the old pictures of this place my father has shown me. For a moment, a felt like I was living in on of those photographs.

Go to
I feel blessed for having such a beautiful place to go to only five minutes away from where I live.
The rural athmosphere, the salty breeze coming from the sea, the smell of the grass and the flowers in the meadows. Everything eases my soul.

Little Piece of Forest
Little Piece of Forest
Little piece of forest
Among these trees, if we look up to the sky, we almost forget where we are. All we see is the dense forest of chestnut trees with the blue (or cloudy) sky above. Sometimes it can be really quiet there. It’s just nature and you. On the weekends, before the pandemic, this place is filled with families and the children’s voices echo in the concrete floor and babrbeques that…

The Ocean Inside
Take a deep breath.
Take a deep breath.
Meditate.
Meditate.
You know your inner ocean better than anyone else.
You know your inner ocean better than anyone else.
The waves wash away your thoughts.
The waves wash away your thoughts.
Now it is just you and your mind’s movement. Soothing. Deep. Scary, who knows.

Never be the same again
Never be the same again
Never be the same again
This was probably the first picture I took since the iconic rock know as “Rochedo da Santa” at Praia de Porto Novo lost another battle against the erosion. As you can see the image of Our Lady no longer stands on the rock overlooking the seas. All that’s left is the little angel.
This place changes every year. But one thing used to stay the same: the image of Our…

Nostalgic Flights
Nostalgic Flights
Who said a seagull flying at the sunset could bring so many memories?
My old school. My beloved school where I spent eight beautiful years. The logo was a seagull flying. There were sculptures of it, paintings, it appeared on our test sheets. Free and painted in a strong blue colour.
Eventually, I gained wings and flew to college. Still, I sing that school’s anthem in my head…

Pensive Seagull
Pensive Seagull
Probably my spirit animal when I opened my photographs folder and found a ton of pics yet to be finished. That’s what college does to you. I’ve been spending most of my free time (which until now was basically none) writing and training new drawing techniques.
Here’s another seagull.

Perseid meteor shower
Perseid meteor shower
With its peak on August 12th, the Perseid Meteor Shower is one of the most wonderful meteor showers of the year. The bright stars shooting across the sky truly amaze me.
Wish upon a star! 🌠
