Btw I'd like to address this because I've never said anything on this matter but my two-leg fish do live underwater.

I just take the artistic liberty to have plants in the ocean because coral reefs are hell to draw although they are beautiful. 🫠

But world-building wise I had to put plants and other earthly-materials, otherwise many utensils and object wouldn't exist.

It's spring yet again.

I have been struggling to draw any kind of illustration for a while. Apparently, unless I'm motivated to do a full drawing, I can't manage to finish any of it or if I do, I usually hate how it comes out because I don't remember how it is done. It's like I've forgotten how art works.

So, I'm learning from the start again, but it wounds my mind. I used to be able to do this, what has happened over these last months? This also gets worse when I remember I have mutuals who have such a distinguished style while I have... nothing. "You don't have to be Michelangelo to be an artist. If this bring you happiness, that's enough". Sure, however Life has left me behind helpless far too many times, I'm tired now. I'd like to keep up...

So anyway, this isn't so pretty but I'm satisfied with the result and I wanted to share it, finally. I apologize for the long post, I might delete all this rant in the morning, thank you for reading tho.

I hope every single person who puts nice comments in tags under reblogged art knows that you you guys are the backbone of society. Being an artist online sucks these days, but here on tumblr I still get compliments under artworks that I made years ago. I hope you know every WOW and heart emoji and heartfelt compliment and funny comment you left in the tags is part of the reason I kept drawing all these years, in spite of everything that was going on.

I've been screenshotting the nice tags I get for years, and at this point it would be literal thousands of lines if I still had my old files. I love u tumblr users <333333333

After two years, I've finished Miraak's quests. (Why it took me two years? ... everything makes me anxious and that place looks so fun, you know).
