I made a mod that changes Sera’s hair to black and it works with all hair mesh edits, BUT it can also randomly not work… Does anyone know how to fix it? Like I load a Skyhold save and all is good, but next time it is just vanilla colour.

Hair Mods Trespasser Compatibility

Hair mods in Trespasser are finicky - to say the least - I hope this sheet helps.

When a hair mod doesn’t work it is not the hair mod itself, it’s the base for that gender/race. So, if say a hair replaces the ‘Hair Q’ for M!Humans and it doesn’t work, than any mod that replaces that hair mesh will not work for a M!Human.

These were all tested through the start cut-scene(s) of Trespasser – riding into the Winter Palace and talking with the Revered Mother. I’ve found any mod that doesn’t work in the initial cut-scene do not fully work with the rest of the DLC. If they do show up after the cut-scene they will continue to be sporadic. This is a list of meshes that are stable.
