i dont wanna ebeg and put my business out there but umm im a biracial nonbinary lesbian and on June 24, 2021 my mom and i fled from her financially, verbally, and emotionally abusive partner of 16 years with only a few clothes, important documents and pictures, and only a little bit of money. we are now in a completely different state and my mom and i have since gotten a lot of help and we have secured housing, but we're both currently jobless and without transportation for the foreseeable future and we are surviving on food stamps and the money given to us by family so if you could please PLEASE donate, any thing would help, and if you can't donate, can you please reblog!!!

being in a relationship with charlie is one of the most exciting things.

due to his spontaneous nature, he constantly keeps you on your toes; he's not a stranger to midnight dates and sneaking you out of school and onto welton grounds just because he misses you.

will sneak up behind you and pull you into a hug, lifting you up and spinning you around if he's feeling particularly happy that day.

drags you along to the dead poets meetings. the entire way there, he's telling you all about the cave and the others, insisting they'll love you - but not as much as he does.

learns love poems by heart so he can recite them to you, which happens at least once a day.

will make the biggest fuss out of birthdays and anniversaries.

loves physical touch. charlie always has to be touching or holding you in some way or another, a trait which gains him a lot of teasing from the others.

you are the only one who sees a softer, more vulnerable side to charlie.

he'll usually open up to you about his problems and if he's ever having a bad day, all he wants is for you to be there.

very protective. if anyone ever upsets you, they'll know about it.

once he learned 'careless whisper', it was all you heard for months

whilst he can be full of energy, charlie also loves quieter days with you. he can't think of anything better than having you cuddled up with him, just talking about whatever as you exchange soft laughter and conversation.

he looks at you with such love in his eyes, it sometimes leaves you breathless.

slips little post it notes into your pockets, often with small messages like 'i love you' or 'you amaze me'.

charlie's life is one that's full of colour and excitement, and he just wants to share that with you, trying to bring a little bit of brightness to your day every time he sees you.

pitts was actually the first member of the group to meet neil, they met in kindergarten when pitts asked him to play in the sandpit together. ever since then, they have been inseparable.

he has broke two bones in his life

the first was his arm, he broke it when charlie dared him to jump off a cliff into a lake during their first springbreak together, safe to say it didn’t go well (at all)

the second was his nose, he broke it accidentally walking into a doorframe too hard when drunk.

his first kiss was actually meeks, they’d been alone, studying together and pitts off-handedly mentioned that he’d never kissed someone. so, meeks suggested they be eachothers first, and that’s the day pitts realised he was bisexual. (and also meeks, but he didn’t tell pitts til later on)

however, pitts first time was with a girl named cassie. they’d met when he went back home during the summer, and gotten along very quickly. he described it as awkward, confusing and long? to which many of the poets (mainly charlie) teased him for. they never saw eachother again much to pitts happiness as he was so embarrassed.

pitts loves to bake, like, it’s his favourite hobby. he’ll spend hours on end just reading different recipes and trying them out, forcing meeks and the rest of the boys to taste them, even bringing them along to the dead poets society meetings as snacks.

he is definitely the friend that makes sure you eat and drink enough water, constantly shouting (lovingly) at meeks for not sleeping enough: “i’m gonna fail latin if i don’t study!” “meeks you know more than the teacher, get to sleep now!”

he feels rather insecure about his writing, insisting it just isn’t a strength of his, he’s better at baking and building stuff. however, meeks pushes him to write, and eventually he reads an original piece at one of the meetings. it was the first time the boys had been stunned to silence out of awe.

ever since then, he’d note down little poems and ideas in a journal neil got him for christmas, often about things that happened to him or feelings he experienced.

if we are talking about a modern au, pitts would be the biggest swiftie in the group. taylor would 100% be nearly all of his playlist, forcing the boys to listen (and eventually fall in love with her too).

when neil died, pitts was completely lost. he had never lived his life without neil, he’d grown accustomed to a life with neil. he thought he’d always have neil. the day neil died, pitts said to meeks that: “i just lost a piece of myself”

after that, pitts and todd became the best of friends, each bonding over the lose of neil. pitts would invite todd to do everything with him and meeks. (if he was being honest, he didn’t wanna lose todd like he did neil)

this friendship continued after graduation, inviting him to every holiday (christmas, thanksgiving, halloween, birthdays, etc.) pitts saw todd as a literal ray of sunshine in his life, a friendship he valued greatly.

speaking of after graduation, the night before they graduated, meeks pulled pitts out in a rather panicked state. meeks had confessed that he loved him, more than friends, and before he could even finish his sentence pitts was already kissing him.

they moved into a small apartment together, decorating it with their numerous and endless inventions. they even got a cat (named neil), cause they felt as though dogs weren’t their style.

pitts and meeks got married in a small ceremony. just the other poets and a few other close friends, and of course their cat.

it was an outdoor wedding in august, cause both men are suckers for forests during that time of the year.

todd is the best man at their wedding and causes everyone to cry from his speech.

pitts leaves a seat free at the poets assigned table at his wedding. (it’s for neil, cause he knows in spirit, he’s there.)

i hope this is okay ahh!!! i’ve never written a lot about pitts so i hope this does him justice, cause i love him??

well let’s see, i’m a mentally ill introvert who loves writing gay poetry and doing theatre! i can be very chaotic at points but then other times i just wanna stare at a wall and contemplate my existence. i’m obsessed with greek mythology and always have been, and i absolutely love reading, especially re reading my favorite books! i also really like baking! i was probably a little TOO involved in school at points and could have spent more time being social but oh well can’t take it back now. i’m a sarcastic little shit and can be a bit mean at times, but i always try to apologize if i go too far. i’m not overly affectionate most of the time but other times i just really want a hug. i prefer being funny and chaotic with a partner than being “lovey dovey” (at least i think i do never be in a relationship lol)

meeks is up for whatever; he's always ready to be chaotic and do something exciting and reckless with you, but is also more than happy just to lay with you in silence and stare at the ceiling. i think meeks would also be quite into greek mythology, and would love hearing you recite him some of your favourite myths to him - he thinks the way you tell them is just perfect, and it's a great excuse for him to just listen to your voice. for your birthday, he finds a book he think you might like and annotates a copy of it with all of his thoughts, especially highlighting parts that made him think of you. he'll try his hardest to help you out when baking, doing anything you tell him to if you need a hand (plus he thinks you're extremely cute when you're focused). meeks actually loves how sarcastic you are, and it makes him fall for you so much harder as it shows you're comfortable with him. meeks is happy to give you a hug whenever you need one, but he loves the playful and teasing kind of relationship you two have, and he wouldn't change it for the world.

shoutout to @auxctor because i was thinking about neil’s powerpoint from speak low and how we never got to see which shakespeare character each of the poets were so here’s what i think 

note: i only used plays i actually know so if you know characters from another play that would fit better i’m sorry

this one was probably the most obvious one besides charlie and todd. come on hamlet is basically just an overdramatic depressed theatre kid with daddy issues... THAT IS NEIL like it just makes sense, i mean come on. i feel like i shouldn’t even have to explain this one.

are we surpised? literally just an anxious gay who wants nothing more than to support his boyfriend (and let’s be real horatio WOULD be a poet) and when their boyfriend is gone they resign themselves to tell his story for the rest of their lives, COME ON (also were hamlet and horatio roommates at wittenburg? cause if no, they are now)

(*ahem* charlie as viola *ahem*) i mean it just makes sense! and let’s be real knox would say some shit like “if music be the food of love, play on.” (but he also would make a great armado from love’s labour’s lost because let’s be real, he is just a bumbling fool in love who would write love letters no one understands)

cameron was hard to figure out. my first instinct was angelo from measure for measure, but cameron is SO MUCH BETTER than angelo so no. but it hit me: katherine! she’s technically the antagonist of the play, but she shouldn’t be. she’s just a woman trying to live her life how she believes she should. is she annoying? yes! but that doesn’t mean she should be villainized. cameron is the same way, lots of people try to frame him as one of the anatgonists of the movie but he’s not. he’s just a boy trying to do what he believes is right and what he has been told is right. is he annoying? yes! but like katherine, he shouldn’t be villainized for it. so yes, i stand by this choice.

the princess and rosaline from love’s labour’s lost

okay, i put meeks and pitts together because i wanted them to get a duo as iconic as they are! and i honestly struggled to find one. i considered making them clowns cause i feel like they would appreciate that and so i was thinking about making them pompey and elbow from measure for measure, but then i had a revelation when considering longaville and dumaine from love’s labor’s lost, they are the princess and rosaline! the smartest characters in the whole fucking thing? HELL YES (and if you don’t think rosaline and the princess aren’t the smartest characters, fight me) they’re witty, they’re intelligent, and they know what the fuck they’re doing. they also know how to mess with the dumbass men in their lives and that is so meeks and pitts. like tricking your love interests by dressing up as each other just RADIATES meeks and pitts energy so yeah. i’m happy with this choice.
