Can feral Zim talk to Dib? Or is he all growls, snap and chirps?
Zim is learning 'human', and Dib is learning irken - they mostly converse in irken, though.
It's an odd language, full of clicks, pops and whistle-esk trills, which Dib picked up over the years and finds rather beautiful.
I want to be more active and engage with you all, but I realize that I haven't shared much about myself yet. To improve that, I've updated my "About Me" section. The previous version didn't seem to resonate with me and wanted to create something I found satisfying.
Last Friday I was so upset at myself for not having anything to upload... and I completely forgot I had these rough drawings.
So here ya go, a redesign of HobbySwap (Lifeswap? Idk, but I feel like the old name is pretty eh) Membrane. Felt like I'd gotten a bit better at dressing characters up and thought he'd look nice with a bit of an edgier, more villain-esc look. Lean into the mad scientist more.
Invader Zim fan comic with a slow burn of Zadr?? In 2024???
That’s right! I’m going to be writing and illustrating a comic that takes place about a month after the events of Enter The Florpus.
This story prompt was given by @gobodegoblin
The comic Misery Meat will follow Zim’s state of constant monitoring for calls from the Tallest. He knows that he was never truly an invader now, but that doesn’t stop him from prying at his last shred of hope at becoming a dignified invader.
Unbeknownst to him, his leaders have been dead for some time. Burned alive when consumed by the mighty Florpus.
He takes his spaceship out to space to report to the armada himself, but a certain human sneaks on board.
All this meanwhile Gaz enlists the help of the idiot trashcan Gir to get her brother back.
And things sure do happen.
This comic will mostly be weird-ass shenanigans, but it will have some angst once it gets going, as well as that nice slow-burn of ZaDR I mentioned.
There is no confirmed release date for the first comic, but I am going to try and start on it this weekend.
