“A menace is right, honestly. But they’re also my paycheck.” The sniper said, looking from his hands up at the doctor. That was all he knew about the guy - he was a doctor, and he was whining about vampires. Of course, everyone whined about them these days; it was a matter of how much they complained and moaned about them that Victor had to assess, whether they were enough of a problem to get people to pay him to kill the overgrown bloodsuckers.

“So, what’s your issue with ‘em?” He snagged a knife from his belt and began using it to pick under his fingernails, an absent minded task to keep his hands moving while he made conversation. 

“Gettin’ too close t’your family, threatenin’ your work, or you just disgusted by ‘em?”
