mending process of rubbed out inner thigh
absolutely hate that this happens to literally every pair of trousers, so im glad i finally figured out how to mend. inb4 the fabric ripped in a spot next to my mend a few days later :’)
Anyways, i have a domed glass lid underneath the fabric, secured with an elastic band at the bottom. you can use loads of similar things, apples, wooden stuff etc. You then start making an outline of your hole, its best if its rectangular, but whatever works best for out spot, i got a wonky shape on one of the trouser legs, while the other leg has a nice rectangle. Then you make a horizontal lines with your string and needle, then go across that, weaving over and under of the perpendicular grid you made earlier. that’s basically weaving in new fabric overtop the hole.
anyway, look up videos lol
