“I’m taking back my brother!”

Context, art commentary and unfiltered version under the cut.

The original scene has a desaturated palette because there's no light on him, and I wanted to make something different, though I'm not sure I did that right because he doesn't look evil from the palette. But I really like the effects I used and I'm satisfied so far. I've been trying to do a softer shading but it's not easy to stop being such a perfectionist haha

(I have to edit this commentary and talk more about the good stuff I liked about this drawing not just complaining lol)

This is based on the moment when Yumoto snaps from the despair of losing his brother after such a long fight... but this time, he snaps from exhaustion and anger at the twins for taking his brother away. I hope his expression portrays these feelings propely, since I love drawing facial expressions. He’s about to lunge forward and attack the twins here

This took three months and it's weird because yesterday I felt like who knew how long this would take to get done, and suddenly it's finished and it looks great?? WHAT

I ran into a problem tho and it's that more than a month ago I started finding lots of little parts where the coloring slightly didn't get to the lines like I had been sloppy, and kept finding them up until today while I was finishing the piece. I'm furious and if I find one more of those after this I'm gonna snap just like Yumoto

Also in my original idea the other Battle Lovers were supposed to be behind him all blurred so the glow would contrast with their white costumes and make Yumoto stand out more, but they ended up being kinda daunting to draw and the perspective was hard for me when I was just gonna blur them so I just left them out. Maybe if I remake this or make a similar piece in the future I'll put them

Here's the original coloring without filters because I worked a lot on this and I felt like after putting the filters it was kind of a waste to not use it

I believe I haven't posted this yet, this is the very first Yumoto I drew properly (as in not just making a quick sketch on a random paper). This little guy was made in 2017 shortly after I discovered Boueibu and has gotten lost twice and been found miraculously unscathed under piles of other stuff. I think this proves how strong Yumoto is. He now lives on my tiny Yumoto-themed corner on my desk

@restinpeacesensei recently reached out to me to talk about my budgie Bebé and I absolutely had to make a commemorative drawing for them! I mostly didn't expect it to look this nice, but after a while I like it more than before :D Sensei made another drawing in reply which was super adorable as well! Thank you to sensei for the attention and care they put on making such a precious drawing of our sweet muses! ♡♡♡

My budgie just died. Just one month and three days ago she stood on my hand and my shoulder for the first time. She lived around six years and died of and intestinal infection. I was just lurking around tumblr without saying anything, but if I’m completely gone from now on indefinitely, that’s why. I don’t want to leave, but I don’t know when I’ll come back here. Sorry for not speaking to my friends on here.

Just uploaded some Aikatsu dresses. But this one goes separately!

Last year, I designed a pink and cream-ish dress for Akoya’s birthday. Long story short, I was bored yesterday and made it in Animal Crossing!

(It’s dedicated to @restinpeacesensei because she redrew it for me as a Christmas gift and I liked it more than my original version so I used hers to make this qr, also if I remember well she even named it “Magical Princess Akoya”?)

I know it lacks the little cuffs but the sleeves would look a lot less fluffy… I tried to make all the little details as good as I could!

I had always wished to make a drawing of my first Link and my current Link together! And there’s clearly an artstyle improvement. Just curse the moment when I decided to just make a sketch on this bad paper… It’s called “I hope that you remember…” inspired by the song Remember by S.E.S. Won’t be the only drawing inspired by that song… Check it out if you like ballads, it’s a really beautiful one! (Note: The Link on the right is what I used to draw like back in june/july 2015 when I first drew the Links. Maybe except that foot, I’ve tried to fully copy the style for this drawing.)
