For my part (rubitrightintomyeyes), anyone is welcome to take my contributions and expand on them however they’d like, though I’d appreciate credit for whatever you use of my work (the parts I animated are in earlier posts on this blog, and I boarded the scene of Wheatley and Chell’s first escape from the Aperture hallway). You should probably directly ask pinalinet, noobybanana, paperseverywhere, or marshtwain for permission to build off their specific contributions in the animatic.

Hi I watched your blue sky animantic(i hope i spelled that right), and i was wondering of reasons why it hasn't been finished? because I can see the finished parts and i see great potential. You've probably answered this type of question before, but i'm just wondering to see if it will ever be completed, and tbh i dont care how long it takes :3

We all just had to move on to other things. Several of the people involved were students who had to turn their attention back to school work and the rest of us had to focus on our jobs. And it can be tough to keep momentum and morale up for such a big project.

But the project seems thrown because of long silence. It would be very sad if you have abandoned him. Keep to the point: your animation is urgent and work is continued or not? Hey! I’m sorry to say this project is as finished as it’s going to be. Animation is indeed very time consuming and we all had to move on to other things. We were happy we could at least get a nice animatic put together, even though it is not fully animated. Thank you for your interest though!

Looks like some copyright issues with the song might be interfering- I’m also getting the same message from youtube on my end.

EDIT 11/24: Okay, here’s some production history on this animatic. The project began in October of 2011, and the majority of the work was done in the summer of 2012. This was a side project for everyone, meaning we all had jobs or school going on while working on this and I cannot be more proud of the effort and time people took out of their lives to help bring this idea to life. Thank you Blue Sky team for all the hard work! You guys truly were a wonderful team to work with and I wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors. <3

Will this project be finished?

We have all moved on from this project, it has been over a year since anyone has really done much work on it. So, no, this is the final version of the Blue Sky animatic and we will not be finishing it.
